12/31/22 Saturday 8:25 P.M. Off Netflix, I watched, "The Volcano, Rescue from White Island." I went outside twice, and one of those times, I drank a brewed coffee. CIO
12/31/22 Saturday 5:35 P.M. I chatted with a friend. I cut off an inch thick piece of roast beef, and I put it on a microwave proof dinner plate with microwave lid, and I microwaved it for 3 minutes on 50% power. I ate it with two medium small baked potatoes with Smart Balance spread and a 10 ounce package of Green Giant microwave broccoli with cheese sauce and a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounces of grapefruit juice.
I will now go outside again. CIO
12/31/22 Saturday 4:05 P.M. I tried spraying some WD 40 on my front door lock which was not working properly, and my regular front door key quit working. I got out the spare key, and it works just fine. I will have to get some spare keys made, when Charles Stuttig lock smith is opened on Greenwich Avenue.

12/31/22 Saturday 11:10 A.M. I woke up at 10 A.M.. I made my bed. I went outside. I will eat a Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg, and cheese sandwich with two toasted English muffins with Smart Balance spread, and pineapple chunks with Mandarin orange slices, and a glass of Primo Vermont spring water with some pineapple juice and cranberry juice and a cup of coffee with artificial sweetener and almond milk. CIO
12/31/22 Saturday 1:40 A.M. On the Samsung Galaxy S3, I uninstalled some apps, and I installed some apps. On the Blu cell phone, I installed some apps, but it is an old slow cell phone, so I can not get the apps to work, and I have a hard time entering the logon information.
I will now shut down the primary work computer. I will go outside. I will then eat a 5.4 ounce Yoplait mixed berry yogurt. I will then go to bed. CIO
12/30/22 Friday 10:50 P.M. I installed and activated a Tracfone Sim card on the Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone for $16.87 for 30 days or 500 minutes. It works fine, but the Tracfone Sim Card will not work in the Blu Phone.

12/30/22 Friday 7:15 P.M. I picked up the mail. I put the battery in the Blu phone. I refreshed Android on it and erased it. I tried the H2O wireless sim card on it, but it did not work. I am now charging it up.

12/30/22 Friday 4:45 P.M. I put the new Tracfone sim card in the Tracfone Moto E, and I put the other sim card with more time on it in the Samsung Galaxy S7. I also added some apps and deleted some apps on the Samsung Galaxy S7.

12/29/22 Thursday 7:00 A.M. On the new $30 Tracfone, I tried an older Tracfone sim card kit, but it did not work. 12/29/22 Thursday 3:35 A.M. On the new $30 TracFone that I just opened up that I bought from www.cvs.com about two years ago, I was able to activate it through wireless using the Tracfone Account app. It cost me $22.23 to activate if for 60 minutes for three months. I then transferred that phone's Tracfone Sim Card into the Samsung Gallaxy S7 Tracfone, and it works just fine for outgoing and incoming phone calls. The Samsung Gallaxy also has a new battery that I put in, and it was never used too much, and it has a sturdy case, although it is a bit slower than new cell phone. Since it works fine, I put another three months on it with 450 minutes for $49.19 for $71.42 plus the cost of the new battery which was $12.89 for $84.31 total. It is paid up until June 27, 2023 with 800 minutes on it.

12/29/22 Thursday 12:50 A.M. I went outside, and I drank a cup of tea with Splenda sweetener and lemon juice.
I tried to activate the Samsung Galaxy G7 on Tracfone to no avail. It really does not matter, I have a few other communication devices.

12/28/22 Wednesday 10:10 P.M. I went outside three times, and once I drank a cup of coffee. I did not get any mail. I chatted with three friends. I am trying to think about something else constructive to do. CIO
12/28/22 Wednesday 5:15 P.M. I cut a one inch thick slice of the roast beef off the Angus prime rib of roast beef, and I put the rest of the roast beef in a Rubbermaid Cake Container on the bottom right shelf in the refrigerator. I ate the one inch thick slice of roast beef with two medium baked potatoes with Smart Balance spread and 10 ounces of Green Giant Brussels sprouts with butter sauce and a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with two ounces of grapefruit juice.

12/28/22 Wednesday 4:05 P.M. The Prime Rib of Roast Beef is done cooking. Now it has to rest for a half hour to let the juices soak back in.

12/28/22 Wednesday 3:20 P.M. I bought the Oster Electric Oven from Walmart online in October 2020 for $130. It was a sub vendor called Park Slope. I only tried using it recently though. CIO

12/28/22 Wednesday 2:30 P.M. The roast beef should be done around 3:55 P.M.. It then has to rest for a half hour for the juices to mix around in the hot roast beef. The Oster electric oven only goes up to 90 minutes, so I have to cook it an extra 15 minutes after the first cycle is done. I am working so hard on my "Situation Room", I think I need a little bit of extra protein. I only cut a one inch thick slice for each meal, so it should last a week. CIO

12/28/22 Wednesday 12:10 P.M. I took the Tower Speaker off the bathroom television setup and stored it to the right of the Samsung television. I took the LG Sound Bar out off the kitchen television setup, and I moved it to the bathroom TV setup. The LG remote control is with the other remote controls on the bookcase in front of the toilet. I put a Phillips DVD players on the kitchen TV. Its remote control did not work, so I setup a Phillips universal remote control with it using code "1211". It plays off Composite input on the Kitchen 24 inch Insignia TV.

I used a HDMI 2 splitter off the bedroom HDMI cable by the bedroom window, so the 20 inch Seiki television in the bedroom window is now connected to the bedroom cable box. It also plays off the over the air antenna. CIO
12/28/22 Wednesday 8:30 A.M. I woke up at 7:30 A.M.. I made my bed. I went outside. I will eat a Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg, and cheese sandwich with two toasted English muffins with Smart Balance spread, and pineapple chunks with Mandarin orange slices, and a glass of Primo Vermont spring water with some pineapple juice and cranberry juice and a cup of coffee with artificial sweetener and almond milk. I mixed a 5.4 ounce package of Knorr chicken flavored rice and pente with two cups of Vermont Spring water and three teaspoons of Smart Balance spread with a 7.5 ounce package of S&B Japanese medium hot curry sauce with vegetables, and I am microwaving it for 16 minutes, and I will eat it in a large Cobalt Blue soup bowl with a 12 ounce glass of www.coke.com Zero Sugar. CIO
12/27/22 Tuesday 9:35 P.M. I went out to the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a five gallon bottle of Primo Vermont Spring water for $6.99, a 42 ounce Smart Balance spread for $9.99 and a prime rib roast beef for $6.99 a pound for $38.79 less 5% senior discount of $2.78 for $52.69 total. I then drove down to the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park, and I sat out briefly. I then toured www.cvs.com . I then drove down a deserted Greenwich Avenue as far as www.starbucks.com and back uptown my way. I then went by the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $18.03 of self service premium gasoline for $4.659 a gallon for 3.878 gallons at odometer reading of 128625 miles for 49.5 miles driven since Thursday December 8, 2022 for 12.765 miles per gallon in local traffic. I then returned home. I brought up the 42 pound bottle of water with my little folding cart, and I put my purchases away. I did not get any mail. I then put the folding cart and the grey bag back in the car. I filed this report.

12/27/22 Tuesday 6:45 P.M. I moved the 32 inch Westinghouse TV from the bathroom to the setup on the desk to the right side of the primary work computer. From that desk, I moved the 32 inch Insignia Smart TV to the setup in the bathroom. I have the same connection including a wired LAN connection.

12/27/22 Tuesday 2:05 P.M. From underneath the bedroom desk and the left side of the bed, I threw out four Grace Digital internet radio amplifiers and a Asus Internet radio all that no longer work. I put the plastic spray bottles and concentrated cleaner underneath the right side bottom of the kitchen sink cabinet. I threw out the box for the new Insignia TV in the kitchen.

12/27/22 Tuesday 2:15 A.M. I signed up for Amazon Alexa Music Unlimited for free for three months, and then it is $8.99 a month. Instead of going outside in the cold night air, I listened to some music off the Alexa display by the Queen Anne chair at the hallway entrance. It is sort of strange, when ever I asked it to play the Andrews Sisters, it plays Bing Crosby who helped invent Dolby Sound. I will now shut down the primary work computer, and I will eat a 8 ounce Chamboni sugarless raspberry yogurt. I will then go to bed.

12/26/22 Monday 11:35 P.M. I moved the Danbury Mint Buckingham Palace model from on top of the Xerox laser printer on the right side of the Samsung television to the left side of the Samsung television on top of the Lenovo mini computer on top of the Danish end table above the two primary two line telephones in the living room. Now the Xerox laser printer with the long USB cable is available for use on the various computers at the far end of the oak dining table. When I lived on Steamboat Road for 4.5 years, I lived across the harbor from the President of Xerox. I used park at Westchester County airport in the private parking places of Xerox executives. When I was in Laguna Beach during my five round trips to California, I met Joel that looked like Nelson Rockefeller, and he had a nice house on the ocean, and he told me he was the head of Xerox Parc in Menlo Parc, California that developed a lot of the current high tech technology. He even took myself and a friend to lunch at the Marina in Dana Point, California with his room mate that was the head of the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base in San Clemente, California. Also in Laguna Hills, the have a Hughes Boulevard, so there are probably some other high tech people out there around the old Irvine Ranch, which used to be part of Mobil Oil. I have not been back out West since the day after election day in 1980, when I flew back East after selling my used Volvo from Greenwich that developed a bad clutch for $1250 down $500 from what I paid for it in Greenwich a couple of months before. I sold it a cash for your car place at the entrance of Disneyland, and I flew back east with a friend, whose grandfather was a geologist from the University of Toronto exploring North America for oil, and he might have been the person that discovered the oil in Saudi Arabia that J. Paul Getty paid $50,000. The grandfather lived in Santa Rosa, California not Santa Barbara. The ex wife out in Plandome Manor used to buy gasoline at the oldest gas station in Manhasset, Long Island that was a Getty gasoline station and she talked about seeing all of the Saudi Princes out there in the late 1940s. She owned John G. Simmons insurance underwriters that insured the refineries in New Jersey, and was able to travel to every five star hotel in the World, because Mr. Grumman of Northrop Grumman was a neighbor. CIO

I put a two foot HDMI cable and HDMI coupler on the Amazon Fire Stick connected to the bathroom Westinghouse TV, so it can hang from the left side and have a direct line of view to the Amazon Fire Stick remote control. The two new large print King James Bibles that I used to support the 32 inch Insignia TV on the left side when it was in the bathroom are now on the far right hallway book case shelf with the Winter knit caps, gloves, mittens, and scarves. I moved the King Charles and Queen Camilla wedding picture from the right side of the Samsung television to along side the King William and Queen Maxima wedding photograph on the top of the wire rack behind the apartment entrance door. I moved from there the Red Cross emergency kit to on top of the fire extinguishers at the kitchen entrance. I put the Danbury Mint Buckingham Palace model on top of the Xerox laser printer to the right of the Samsung television. I moved the walking canes from in front of the software book case to the left side of the sweater closet.

On the living room Samsung 49 inch television setup, the Sound Bar turns on with the far right switch on the power strip beneath it. The Amazon Cube turns on with the third switch from the right, but to watch it, the Samsung television has to be on HDMI 2. So much for "Ninth Circle" television maintenance out here in the Boon Docks of Greenwich, Connecticut in the extreme small southwestern corner of the third smallest state in the Nation on the border of what was once called New Amsterdam. From what I can tell, possibly the border of the New Haven Colony with New Amsterdam Colony ran right through our property the old "Lyon Farm", before they moved the border further west to the Byram River. There are too big pyramid shape boulders on our property that might have designated the old boundary line that one time ran right through our building.

I then sat out across the street again. I then picked up a prescription at CVS. I then returned home. I put away my purchases. I left the Amazon cube remote control with the other remote controls on the hallway side of the Queen Anne chair. I have the Amazon Cube connected to wired LAN for faster download.

On the Apple Iphone 3 GS, I was able to reinstall the IOS system with the Itunes program off the Mac Mini with High Sierra to the right of the primary work computer on the living desk without any problem. Of course the Iphone 3 GS has to be plugged into its USB port with its power cable. I was able to activate it at Apple Icloud with my Apple ID, and then for the password, I enter my Apple password with the six numbers from the two step verification. Thus it is all set up like new. However, it does not support MobileVOIP. It does not support Cellular either.
I went outside for coffee earlier.

When I install IOS 6 with Itunes with the Iphone 3GS plugging into the primary work computer on selects the Shift key when pressing the Restore button to select the download. Once install I am having problems in verifying it though, since the six numbers from the other Iphone come up, but there is no verifying screen on the Iphone 3 GS. I am now charging it up some more. I went outside twice. Tomorrow, it is supposed to start warming up again. CIO

At the far end of the oak dining table, I changed the setup for the Logitech wireless keyboard and wireless mouse to start up on the HDMI 2 input of the Insignia TV monitor with the VGA adapter to start up the upper left Dell Optiplex 790 desktop with the Windows 11 Rufus beta. Although, when it starts up, it says the beta is expired, the system properties says it is still activated. CIO
12/22/22 Thursday 3:35 A.M. I took the old Sony media player off the Samsung TV setup in the living room, and I stored it and its parts underneath the bedroom hutch. I have the Sony DVD player setup on the left side of the Samsung television, but it needs an HDMI cable. On the bedroom TV setup, I hooked up a two HDMI splitter to the four HDMI splitter. I then ran three six foot HDMI cables connected with two HDMI couplers to the bathroom Westinghouse TV, so off HDMI 1 it plays the bedroom cable box. With HDMI, it has louder sound than with the AV cable.

12/21/22 Wednesday 5:50 A.M. When I was in school in Firinze, Italia in February 1972, one of my classmates was Randy Baumeister from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He said his father owned the largest night club there. He bought a new orange Karman Kia while there, and he also had a pair of expensive Florentine leather boots made with quarter inch thick plates of gold in between the leather on his heels. Back then gold was only $32 an ounce, and nobody was too interested in it. They even sold hand made jewelry on the Ponte Vechio bridge on black velvet clothes laid out on the pavement, and nobody would try to steel, it because those young Italian youth are very quick and cleaver. I learned when I was in Amsterdam in the Netherlands before the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France in February 1992 that a lot of the beef in Europe comes from Argentina, and the Queen of the Netherlands is from a German family from Argentina. When I came off www.nantucket.net and returned to Greenwich on December 13, 1983, I ate a Christmas Eve dinner at Rue de Croissant of a turkey croissant, and Cliff Robertson and Dina Merrill were the only other people there. Rue De Croissant was owned by somebody from Argentina. I have a relative that flies down to Argentina to go fishing there. The last time, I visited Washington D.C. was around January 1991, when George H.W. Bush was President, but he was not there, he was out of town visiting Argentina. It was a zero degree Fahrenheit day, and not many people were around in the cold weather. A lot of the taxis were those big wide 1960s Chrysler station wagons with many hundreds of thousands of miles on them. The Botanical Garden on the southwest corner of the Capitol was a warm place to visit. The Canadians had a new bullet and bomb proof embassy they had built on Pennsylvania Avenue. His grandfather was also President of the Illinois Central Railroad that my Grandfather Scott worked for 60 years for. Back then they hauled a lot of coal, so people in the Midwest with coal furnaces had warm homes. Back in Greenwich, the poor people here were picking up coal off the railroad sidings in nearby Port Chester, New York, and the Bush family became popular for running the milk fund giving milk to the poor families and then with the Rockefeller family working with the American Red Cross during World War II.

12/21/22 Wednesday 5:00 A.M. If one likes pears https://www.harryanddavid.com/ used to have a store on Greenwich Avenue where the Tesla dealership now is. People used to go through their dumpster looking for the old flavored popcorn they threw out. When I was Florence, Italy in the winter of 1972, the food was very good and not too expensive. It is a bit different than Italian American cooking. I did learn that they know how to put a liqueur bottle over a pear tree stem and grow a pear inside of it to fill with their pear liquor; so the pear liquor bottle has a real pear inside of it. In southern Europe back then, I learned their fresh olive oil tastes a lot different than our olive oil here. It has a more nutty like pistachio nut taste. They also have lots of it. The only olive oil I have tasted like European olive oil in America is Goya olive oil in the tiny six ounce bottles. I suppose by the time the olive oil is shipped across the Atlantic Ocean it gets older. Robert Schuller once said in his Dutch Reform broadcast, "It is a wise man that plants olive trees, since it takes two hundred years to yield its fruit."
I also have a distant relative in Big Timber, Montana that raises sheep and hydroponic lettuce.

When I visited Williamsburg, Virginia around the summer of 1965 with a classmate from Greenwich Country Day whose family started the Greenwich Hospital and were from the Harrison family of Virginia, we ate some delicious smoked ham at the Sir Walter Raleigh tavern. In Greenwich, one of the biggest older men I see late at night at the Stop and Shop with his two grandsons buys several of those big 2.5 foot long pork roasts. My uncle Dan in Illinois used to have a few pigs. My only friend in this area has a cousin with a farm in Great Barrington, Massachusetts whose father was Nelson Rockefeller's agricultural commissioner for New York state, when he was governor. His female cousin likes slaughtering her own live stock, so she must be a big woman. CIO
12/21/22 Wednesday 4:40 A.M. I used to eat Kellogg's Corn Flakes. I once toured the Kellogg's and Post Corn Flakes factories in Muskegon, Michigan. Queen Elizabeth II used to eat corn flakes, and when I was starving in Oslo, Norway back in February and March 1983, corn flakes were considered a gourmet breakfast. At Lake Forest College, when I lived off campus, I used to eat salmon steaks all of the time from Lakeside Foods for .59 a pound. People in the Midwest are scared to eat fish, because they are scared of choking on fish bones. Back in my day, the Boston Lobster company on the waterfront in Boston, where I helped build Dom's Italian restaurant out of the old Howard Johnson's chocolate factory, the Boston Lobster Company across the street would sell lobster for .59 a pound that I would bring home frequently for my family. I never ate much lobster, because it was too complicated to deal with. Out on www.nantucket.net , the Le Languedoc restaurant used to get five pound cans of picked lobster meat from the Graham Lobster company up in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia, Canada. They used to be on the internet, but I can not find them anymore. At Tod's Point in Old Greenwich, people can dig for clams with a license in season. One also needs a fishing license in Connecticut. 12/21/22 Wednesday 4:05 A.M. My first interest in the food business was my Uncle Art Boven in Muskegon, Michigan owned a lot of stock in Gerber Baby Food. Holland, Michigan where my mother's family were from produced Heinz pickles and Butterball turkeys and blueberries. In Pensacola, Florida five pounds of shrimp at the docks was only a dollar. In Decatur, Alabama; there was the Sealtest Dairy and the Borden Dairy, and we also had an A&P and Kroger grocery stores. With all of the onion grass in Alabama, it made the milk taste like onions, so it was my idea to produce Onion Dip. In the Greenwich, Connecticut area; we mostly in the old days had apple farms. If one put a small box of raisins in a gallon of apple cider, one can let if ferment to Apple Jack. In the Boston area, one did not see many farms, but up North of Boston, there are a lot of farms. My Scott and Gard family in Illinois raised field corn, soy beans, and popcorn on my grandfather Scott's two thousand acre farm that he sold my grandmother Scott's relatives the Gard family who have been in America for 400 years from Lincolnshire, England having settled the George's Plantation in York, Maine four hundred years ago, and then moved to New Jersey, Ohio, and finally Robinson, Illinois where the farm was. In Nantucket, they had sea scallops and quahogs and a A&P and a Grand Union. My father knew Huntington, Hartford whose family started the A&P Food chain. A&P had a lot of tropical warehouses that became the Four Seasons resorts. In California, I saw a lot of farms. In Florida, I saw a lot of citrus. Land O Lakes is also down in Florida. When I built the garage apartment out on Long Island, I heard about potato farms on Eastern Long Island, where the missile bases are. I also have heard about Long Island ducks. I thought Vivian West might own Polly O Cheese because she had a parrot, and her Grandson John had a friend named Borden, so I thought they might be connected with Borden Dairy. Tom Carvel lived on Circle Drive in Plandome Manor, where Vivian lived. Port Washington, Long Island also had a Drive Up Dairy store, and I lived a few hundred feet away from the local A&P. I used to walk around the Meat Packing District on West 14th Street in Manhattan a lot, when I was there; and I saw big sides of beef hanging out on meat hooks. When the meat packing industry was in Chicago before it moved to Omaha, there was a bit of meat there with the Armour, Swift, Cudahy, and original McDonalds people living out in Lake Forest, Illinois. Here, I once knew Scott Nelson from Irvington, New York; who once did catering at the Rockefellers when he worked for the Chart House steak house in Dobbs Ferry. He told me his family owned a gourmet meat company in Minnesota. Boston used to have fried clams at Howard Johnson's which also sold ice cream and hamburgers. In Greenville, South Carolina; Win Dixie Foods had lots of big thick Carolina steaks. Boston and Kennebunkport had fresh fish and lobsters. My only local friend from Bedford, New York used to like mainly shooting his own deer and eating the venison from his freezer.

12/21/22 Wednesday 2:55 A.M. In the Dairy Business, each year the American Dairy Association appoint a young milk to represent them around the country. Since our friend in Greenwich was in the cheese business at one time from Wisconsin, he probably knew some dairy people. The Rockefeller family over in North Tarrytown, New York raise Swiss Dairy cattle, so they probably also know some Dairy people, if you know how to get up early in the morning to milk the cows. I no longer drink milk but almond milk, since regular dairy milk gives me a lot of intestinal gas. I do eat a bit of cheese which is not always good for cholesterol. Since I am diabetic, I do not eat ice cream which has lots of sugar. I get a bit of sugar from yogurt thought.

12/21/22 Wednesday 2:00 A.M. When I was going to the Taft School in Watertown, Connecticut in 1968, I interviewed for college at https://www.hamilton.edu/ in Clinton, New York; but they did not accept me. I drove there in a blizzard from Taft with my father in my www.ford.com Mustang convertible, and it was hard driving up a very steep hill the college sits. There is a Greenwich connection with Hamilton College in that they have an office in Greenwich in the office building across from the Greenwich Hardware store on Railroad Avenue. Also one of my family's original friends in Greenwich who was very successful had a son that went to Hamilton College. Also the psychiatrist that I have had for the longest period in Greenwich went to Hamilton College. Also in Manhattan, I knew Alex Wagner whom went to Hamilton College. He was the only guess that I ever had in the apartment at 315 West 74th Street the last time I saw him back around the very cold winter of 1982. I also drove down to Washing and Lee University in Virginia with my father, and I also interviewed with the University of North Carolina, but I was given early acceptance at www.lakeforest.com when Doctor Cole interviewed me, and a number of my friends from Taft were going there, and with my family's Illinois connections, I decided to go there. It is a lot colder out in Lake Forest, Illinois; but I had lots of friends and part time jobs, and I was a moderately good student.

Alas, back in the fall of 1975, after being homeless out on www.nantucket.net that summer, when I hitchhiked up to www.yale.edu from Greenwich to take a lot at the Nelson Rockefeller and Henry Ford Jr. graduate school of politics and business that was mentioned in the New York Times, after a week of being homeless there not eating and sleeping the basement of the Yale Law school, I began to have medical problems. I did look up Phil Zaeder there whom had been the Chaplin at Taft, but when I returned to Greenwich, it was determined I had medical problems from being homeless. At the first of January 1976, I took a job as an expeditor at Daniel Construction Company in Greenville, South Carolina for six months. My father had long time business contacts with Daniel building textile factories through out the South. They became part of www.fluor.com that recently rebuilt the Mario Cuomo bridge nearby on the Hudson River. I was even offered a job in Saudi Arabia building the Air Force Base there, where it was over 130 degrees Fahrenheit there, and the concrete on the run way was over 12 feet thick to support the heavy cargo planes. It was my idea to start building cement plants in the Middle East since all of the cement in the tankers was going bad in the hot weather. They have all of the natural ingredients over there. I did explore Atlanta in that period, and I knew some of the people that started CNN, since I have worked at CBS News, but none of those contacts did me any good, when I returned to www.nantucket.net that summer, and the following two winters I ended up homeless down in South Florida, where it was a bit warmer than up North. From Taft I knew Myles McGough from Katonah, New York, and up in Boston he lived with Lisa Halaby off www.harvard.edu Square and he also had a farm in St. Johnbury, Vermont, and he also lived with Jimmy Buffet in Key West, when Lisa Hallaby we knew became the Queen of Jordon, when she married the King of Jordan. He also owned the Road House Bar out on www.nantucket.net on Fair Grounds Road. I visited with my Myles, Mac Whiteman, and Hunt Collins for spring break in Bermuda in the Spring of 1976. Myles' parents also had a pent house on East 67th Street across from the Austrian Consulate and near Barbara Rockefeller's town house. They also had a house in Laguna Beach and another house in Ireland. Myles before he died was living at Donald Trump's Mar Largo. He is the only Taft Classmate that ever called me up. I used to drive his sister to Angle Memorial animal Hospital in Boston too. Myles' father looked like Richard Nixon, and he was the treasurer of Wolfson Construction that built the Pan Am building in Manhattan, Interstate 684, and Hoover Dam. Wolfson Construction owned Merritt Chapman and Scott Salvage operation that had the salvage rights for the H.M.S. republic off www.nantucket.net before World War One with over a billion dollars of gold due for Italian earthquake relief that was never recovered in 400 feet of water off Nantucket. Myles had a lot of friends. His family's Cape Cod house in Katonah is across the street from Martha Stewart's estate which is next to the John Jay Homestead, and the Scott family from the early days in Manhattan married into the Jay family, so the Scott family property became the Jay family property. Myles told me he did business deals in South America. Myles told me he was Black Irish, which are the Spanish that went to Ireland in the Spanish Armada, when the British defeated them. He also took Beezer Manning's Spanish courses at Taft. Beezer Manning was related to President Taft's wife's family, and he had worked for the CIA in Brazil. When I went back to Taft the only time for my reunion in 1977, I was darkly tan from Key West, and I spoke with Senator Bob Taft from Ohio, and a African American classmate that had gone to www.harvard.edu was already a Federal Judge in Washington D.C.. Another Taft Classmate is a judge in Massachusetts. Another Taft Classmate was under secretary of Defense in the Clinton Administration. Bob Sweet was in my classmate at Taft, and his father was the Deputy Mayor in the Lindsey Administration, and later was a Federal Judge in Manhattan. He was the first person that I ever visited in Manhattan. He is supposed to run a restaurant in Boston. From what I can tell, the new chairman of the Board of Trustees at Taft owns the Bahia Mar Yacht Club in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I will now go outside again. CIO
12/21/22 Wednesday 12:35 A.M. Since it costs $15 in gas to drive to the Shop Rite on the Old Greenwich Stamford border, I gave my $25 gift card for Shop Rite from the Department of Social Services at Thanksgiving Time to a neighbor who frequently drives that way. I have learned about electronics over the years, but I started out with an American Flyer Electric Train Set in Decatur, Alabama. I once fixed a house fuse by putting a penny in the fuse box. Back in the summer of 1975, when I tried visiting Jimmy Eldert out on www.nantucket.net , and I was homeless; I slept on Benjamin Franklin's mother's grave in the Quaker Cemetery, the only grave with a monument that over the years was twice hit by lightning. She was from the established Folger family on Nantucket. Benjamin Franklin was the youngest of thirteen children, so he got to go to www.harvard.edu . Two of the following years in 1977 and 1978, I worked as a pot scrubber at the Gordon Folger Hotel, when it was about 130 degrees Fahrenheit next to the old cast iron stove. The chef was Panama and looked like Manuela Noriega. The baker was also named Mike and was from Key West. I did not give them my right Social Security Number there, because I was threatened down in South Florida, so I was I undercover. Also I wired the garage apartment out on Plandome Manor, Long Island that I built. If I had had the four to eight quarters of Social Security from those jobs, I would have gotten full amount of Social Security, when I became disabled instead of Welfare and then Supplemental Security Income. Alas the Greenwich Social Services, and the Stamford Social Security Office, were never able to fix that. I also had a number of other short term jobs that do not show up on my Social Security record such as walking around nearby Manhattan for four years and visiting at night frequently over the year and a bit of travel to less friendly places around the World.

12/20/22 Tuesday 11:45 P.M. The bathroom Westinghouse TV was not loud enough. In the bathroom, I took one of the Himalayan salt lamps out of the bathroom, and I put it on the left front of the Vizio TV in the living room. I moved the garbage can in the bathroom to the left side of the door way in front of the tower speaker. I moved the unused tower speaker that I bought at www.cvs.com on sale for $20 about seven years ago to the left side of the Westinghouse TV in the bathroom hooked up to the Westinghouse TV headphone jack. I leave the tower speaker on all of the time, so when one turns on the Westinghouse TV, the sound plays automatically through the tower speaker which is much louder and clearer. I found the new Conair electric air dryer underneath the bathroom sink, and I put it on top of the center hallway bookcase.

12/19/22 Monday 6:50 A.M. At the far end of the oak dining table, I hooked up an HDMI cable to HDMI 1 on the Insignia TV monitor. I tested the Dell XP and the HP I7 on it. To get the Apple Mac Mini with Catalina working, I had to take the HDMI display adapter off the Mac Mini with High Sierra on the living room desk setup. The Mac Mini with High Sierra works fine with out it, and the Apple Mac Mini with Catalina on the far end of the oak dining table works fine with the HDMI display adapter. I also tested one the VGA computers. Thus by changing the three HDMI computers' HDMI video cables into the couple on the HDMI video cable, they all work. I took pictures of the far end setup, and I also photographed the Westinghouse TV in the bathroom the AV cable box input, the Roku HDMI input, and the Amazon Fire Stick HDMI input. The Insignia TV monitor is plugged into an always on power strip. For now, I left the HDMI input into the Insignia TV monitor connected to the HP I7 tower computer on the right side of the setup.

12/19/22 Monday 5:00 A.M. I went outside a few times. From the far end of the oak dining table, I moved the Westinghouse TV monitor into the bathroom. From the bathroom, I moved the Insignia 32 inch TV to the far end of the oak dining table. I took the VGA adapter off the HP computer to the right of the primary work computer, and I hooked it up the VGA setup at the far end of the oak dining table. It all works fine on HDMI 2 for the four desktops there on the VGA switch boxes. On HDMI 1, I tried three different HDMI input switches, but none of them worked. I connected the Dell XP tower to HDMI one, and on the three computers, I will put a HDMI cable on HDMI 1 port with a HDMI coupler, so one can change between the three HDMI computers. The Insiginia 32 inch TV is much clearer as a computer monitor.

The Stop and Shop still has the big Angus Prime Rib of Roast Beef for $5.99 a pound. I then bought a 22 count box of Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla K cups for $14.99 less $5 bonus bucks from the previous purchase for $9.99 total. I then sat out in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park across the street. I then went to the www.chase.com Bank ATM machine on the North side of Saks Fifth Avenue. I then drove Greenwich Avenue as far as www.starbucks.com and right down Arch Street and back up around by the Greenwich Town Hall, and I returned home. I put away my purchases. One reason for keeping the older Westinghouse 32 inch TV used as a monitor at the far end of the oak dining table computer setup is that besides its VGA input, it has three HDMI inputs, so the three computers connected to the HDMI inputs also have audio on Westinghouse TV, which they would not have with the AOC 24 inch monitor. However, if the part that I just ordered for VGA input to HDMI input and with the three HDMI input adapter, the bathroom 32 inch Insignia TV with two HDMI inputs would have sound on the HDMI splitter input into it hopefully. The bathroom TV seems to be sharper too, so I have to wait for the part to check it out. CIO

In looking at my old camera bag, besides the Cannon Digital camera a relative gave me for Christmas about five years ago, I also have a little Polaroid Digital movie camera, and a little Nikon Digital Camera, and a little Zippo light type spy camera. All of which probably need new batteries that I might have. When my family moved back to Greenwich, Connecticut in June of 1973, I had a Polaroid Professional 180 camera with Zeiss manual lens for professionals that Polaroid gave me that their professional photographers used, but within a year, things got so bad with the stock market crash of the Fall of 1973, I sold it at Willoughbys Pierless camera shop https://www.willoughbys.com/ at Herald Square in Manhattan for $40. The following year when thing were even worse, I sold the two signed by Ansel Adam's 20 inch by 30 inch framed photographs of Yosemite from my father's office at Polaroid to Marge Neigra photo gallery on the east side of Manhattan for $120 each. Years later, when I was visiting James Edward Eldert at the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1980, all of the campus shuttles were from Yosemite. I even practiced climbing a red wood tree there. I tried using one of their computer work stations at the library there, but it was in Fortran that I did not understand. CIO
12/17/22 Saturday 11:20 P.M. I used my new chef's knife to cut two half inch thick slices of medium rare roast beef, and I put it on a plate with two medium small baked potatoes with Smart Balance spread, and I ate it all with a 12 ounce glass of www.coke.com Zero Sugar. It was most delicious. I stored the remaining Angus top round roast beef in the Rubbermaid cake container on the bottom right shelf of the refrigerator. I washed the dinner dishes and cooking items. The new very sharp chef's knife is stored behind the kitchen chair in its box on top of the Fresca. On the shelf of the right living room closet, I have lots of old tea and old chocolate milk. I took out my two extreme cold winter hats, and I put them on the Brother All Purpose machine at the kitchen entrance on top of the NASA baseball caps.

12/17/22 Saturday 10:20 P.M. I went outside again. The 6 pound Angus Prime Rib of Roast Beef was done at 10 P.M.. I am letting it rest for a half hour outside the oven until 10:30 P.M.. From the right living room closet, I pulled out my large Rubbermaid cake holder to store it in the refrigerator. I will throw the hot grease once it cools in an old plastic Dole pineapple jar.

Underneath the left front of the oak dining table, I also have an unused www.walmart.com air cooker and a Welbilt bread machine, not that one needs a bread machine with a nearby commercial Bimbo Bakery in Byram. I think I have two sleeping bags on the underneath back side of the oak dining table, and the slow cooker is underneath the oak end table at the left side of the Queen Anne chair at the hallway entrance. There is a rice cooker underneath the white table with cable box at the bedroom entrance. I think on the underneath back left side of the oak dining table, there is a pressure cooker. On the back side of the Ethan Allen recliner on the window side is my old Haig Ultra Golf Clubs with the burgundy Burton Golf bag from Jasper, Alabama with old out of day golf shoes. My old Frigidaire Window 8,000 BTU air conditioner is still there, but being older, it did not work very well on hot days in the apartment, which is why I changed to more expensive more powerful portable air conditioners which also use more electricity. In the top drawer of the mahogany bureau in the living room, I still have my collection old silk ties which could be used to make a colorful quilt. Not that anyone wears ties anymore in this neck of the woods. With the higher price of fuel, people are just staying home with the internet and television and internet radio as opposed to looking at reality through their automobile wind shields. I have seen most everything in this area most of my life, so I do not need to drive too much here or in the neighboring areas. I went outside again. CIO
12/17/22 Saturday 3:10 A.M. In the living room in between the www.harvard.edu chair and the computer chair at the apartment entrance are two Red Cross Emergency food pails. Behind the apartment entrance, there is a rack with an emergency medical kit and an emergency radio and lots of herbs and spices and umbrellas on the floor. On the Danish end table on the left side of the Samsung television on its lower level are nicotine patches and glass ware. In the bathroom on the right side of the toilet are bathroom and cleaning supplies. In the bathroom on the left side book case are two new electric tooth brushes, a new electric hair dryer, and various bathroom products. In the medicine cabinet and on the racks on the right and left of the bathroom sink are other bathroom products. In the bedroom windows, there are spare bundles of toilet paper, cigarette tubes, and fans. In the left bedroom desk drawer, there are postage and shipping products and office products. On the right side of the living room window sill, there are more fans. This apartment with its Western exposure over a second floor black roof can get very hot in the hot weather with it being a 130 degrees Fahrenheit outside the windows, so I keep fans to blow the air conditioning around which is also very expensive. In the wire rack on the right side of the bedroom door are vitamins, medical products, coffee cups, and www.perrier.com bottles. In the left side bed night stand, there is my old stamp album, and Lincoln penny coin collection, and old passport case with an out of date address book and out of date passport. Stamps and pennies were pretty common in the old days, so they are not worth too much. On the back side of the apartment entrance door and the right living room closet are lots of winter coats and jackets. On the bedroom entrance door, there are lots of polar fleeces hanging. Behind the bedroom door is a shoe rack and some shoes on the floor and a bedroom stereo speaker. Somebody I once knew in Greenwich from Northeastern Vermont told me once my apartment looks like one of the Vanderbilt Railroad Cars in Sherburne, Vermont; but with the addition of more computers, it is my version of my own "Situation Room" with my own hard earned stuff. I also have a shoe rack with more shoes in the living room. Since I have lived in Greenwich, Connecticut most of my life with a lot of walking at the Greenwich Country Club Golf Course, Tod's Point, and Greenwich Avenue, not to mention four years of walking in nearby Manhattan, shoes are important to me, and they are about the only thing on sale on the internet besides televisions. I also have a sweater closet at the hallway with lots of sweaters and tools on its floor. CIO

In the center hallway bookcase, I have a few books, spare and backup 2.5 inch drives, photo albums, and in the lower cabinet old wine and liquor that I never touch. In the left hallway bookcase, I have computer parts, tobacco items, and emergency lanterns and lights and a other odd items. In the bedroom hutch, I have vitamins, batteries, computer parts, and a few other items. In the oak bookcase on top of the mahogany bureau, I have mostly computer parts, and a few other items. In the mahogany bureau, I have mostly light bulbs a number of spare items in the upper drawers. In the living room desk center drawer, I have receipts, and on the left side I have drawers I have computer parts, and on the right side drawers, I have a few old computer parts. Behind the Ethan Allen recliner and behind the chair behind my primary work chair, I have a Rubbermaid laundry hamper, a Hoover upright vacuum cleaner, a telescope, slow cooker and in between the two chairs, I have luggage and laptop bags. In the front side underneath the oak dining table, I have a spare cable bag. In the back side underneath the oak dining table, I think there is a sleeping bag, and there is another sleeping bag underneath the oak end table at the hallway entrance. There are a few computer parts like web cams, keyboards, and wired mice in the far left dark oak cabinet, along the Sony CD system. On the lower side of the dark oak cabinet behind the Vizio TV, there are some electronic components blocked by the Vizio TV table. In the mahogany bureau there are clothes. Underneath the Queen Anne chair at the hallway entrance, there are Microsoft Surface devices and their parts, and some other computer items. Underneath the Queen Anne chair in front of the windows, there is the Gateway 17.3 inch laptop computer that overheats. Underneath the Ethan Allen recliner, there are 12 packs of www.coke.com Zero Sugar. Underneath the bed on the left side, there are computer and electronic items. Underneath the bedroom bed on the right side is the old Sceptre TV, shoes, and some button batteries, and some cables. In the Rubbermaid Hamper in the Northwest corner of the bedroom, there are mostly cables. Underneath it are new wireless keyboards, and possibly laser toner cartridges. Underneath the bedroom desk, there is linen, out of date Grace Digital radios, and wireless keyboards and headsets. In the right side bed stand, there is mostly telephone parts. In the bedroom closet, there are four season clothes, and cigar cigarettes. In the left living room closet, there are mostly more formal clothes, and some computer parts and a old five pound bag of Whole Foods brown rice, and I store my Christmas Tree and wreath there too. In the right living closet, there are mostly clothes, and jackets, tea bags, and some cooking items. In the white bedroom bureau, I have some clothes and in the lower drawer some electronic parts. In the white right kitchen entrance bookcase, I have some tools, plastic bags, powdered milk. In the left white kitchen entrance bookcase, I mostly have food. In the blue bookcase in the kitchen, I have mostly food. In the far left upper kitchen cabinet, I have food. In the lower left kitchen cabinet, I think I have a turkey roaster. In the upper left kitchen cabinet, I have food items. In the cabinet above the stove, I have shopping bags, and warm beverage containers. In the upper center kitchen cabinet, I have vitamins, and some food items and some formal grocery store dinner ware. In the center lower kitchen cabinet, I have cooking utensils. In the upper cabinet above the stove, I have mostly cooking items. In the right kitchen cabinet, I have storage items. In the far right kitchen cabinet, I have dinner ware plates, and bowls. In the far right lower cabinet, I have baking pans. In the center drawer I have cutlery. In the far left drawer, I have a number of small items including rubber bands. The far right switch turns on the Amazon Fire Stick on the Insignia TV on HDMI 1, the next switch to the left turns on the Roku device on HDMI 2, two of the left switches always on keep the Google Dot and the Amazon echo dot going, and the other two switches on keep the Himalayan salt lamps on, and the far left always on switch is the Phillips Norelco electric shaver. The bathroom 32 inch Insignia TV works off the bedroom cable box off AV input.

It is where I just throw stuff, I do not know where to put.
I have the Apple Iphone 7 updated, and its battery still hold a 100% charge. I never carried it with me very much except for when I traveled to Kennebunkport, Maine for a backup cell phone. My primary Iphone 6 Plus works off my Obama phone account sim card.

It was only $3 a night to park in the very nice camp ground, and it was only a suggested donation. There was another similar camp ground up in the mountains East of San Juan Capistrano too. On the road there was an old fashioned General Store that had Guinea Pigs. That camp ground was just east of the Marine Corps' Camp Pendleton next to wear Richard Nixon lived in a mansion on the beach in San Clemente where people also liked to surf cast with a few surfers. After the last note, I went out to the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a five gallon bottle of Primo Vermont Spring water with bottle return for $6.99. I then drove down Greenwich Avenue as far a closed www.starbucks.com and back uptown my usual way. I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue. With my $25 Greenwich Department of Social Services Christmas gift card, I bought a 6 pack of Stop and Shop multigrain English muffins for $3.49, a 18 ounce Sweet Baby Ray's sweet and spicy barbecue sauce for $3.19 and on sale with a digital coupon a Angus Prime Standing Rib Roast for $5.99 a pound for $38.88 for $46.73 total. They have only two more Angus Prime Standing Rib Roasts left in the center display case of the meat department. It is in a seal package, so I might hold off from cooking it until Christmas. I then returned home. I used my little folding cart to bring up the 42 pound bottle of water, and I put my groceries away. I then put the folding cart and grey bag back in the car. 12/16/22 Friday 1:00 A.M. Off Netflix, I watched the first half of episode 2 of, "Harry and Megan." I went outside. I then sorted out some of the shelves in the right hallway bookcase. I found the computer screen suction cups. I decided to replace the battery on my Apple Iphone 6 Plus using this method https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbiHBUgMuKM . The battery replacement kit came with the tools that I needed. It was a bit tricky, and but it all works fine now. I have to charge it up for two hours before using it, but it does work. The old battery sparked, when I was trying to pull it out, but it did not explode since it was discharged. I also put a new screen protector on it. CIO

12/15/22 Thursday 6:45 A.M. The sound bar that I took off the Vizio TV in the bedroom before I moved it is a Vizio Sound Bar. It just had a bad optical cable. I installed it on the new 31.5 inch Vizio TV in the bedroom, and since both the TV and Sound bar are Vizio, it does not need a separate remote control, and it works just fine off the Vizio TV remote control. I have the Vizio Sound Bar power cable plugged into the power strip on the left, the third switch back to turn it on just beyond the second switch back which I keep on, so the new Vizio TV turns on instantly. I placed the Vizio Sound Bar on the stack of items behind the new Vizio TV.

12/15/22 Thursday 5:40 A.M. In the bedroom, I moved the Craig DVD player from underneath the ONN television to the lower right side of the new Vizio 31.5 inch TV hooked up on the AC ports on the Vizio TV. The Craig DVD player is plugged into the power strip beneath the Vizio TV. It works just fine on the Vizio Comp input like the other Vizio TV in the living room. On the Ocean Digital Internet radio beneath the Vizio TV, I installed two RCA audio cable splitters, so the Ocean Digital Internet Radio not only plays on the Monster sound bar to its right, but it also plays well off the Senheiser rechargeable headphones. I put new batteries in the rechargeable headphones about two year ago, so they still work fine.

12/15/22 Thursday 4:15 A.M. On the bedroom new 31.5 inch Vizio TV, I took out the Daewoo DVD Video Tape player. To do that I removed the three foot plank, and I now have the new Vizio TV sitting on an Encyclopedia Britannica underneath its two legs. I moved and hooked up the Daewoo DVD Videotape machine to the left side of the 40 inch Vizio TV in the living room. It works just fine on COMP input. Its remote control is with the other remote controls on the left side of the Ethan Allen recliner as one looks at it. Sometimes, when one uses one of the remote controls in the apartment, it turns on other TVs in the apartment.

12/15/22 Thursday 2:30 A.M. On the 40 inch Vizio TV in the bedroom, I tried working on its sound bar, but I could not find its remote control, and it did not work anyway. I took it off the bedroom setup. I moved the 40 inch Vizio Smart TV into the living room in front of the Ethan Allen recliner and the stereo cabinet. I hookrd it up HDMI to both apartment cable boxes, a wired LAN, and the TCL sound bar. It works just fine. I moved the new 31.5 inch Vizio Smart TV into the other Vizio's place in the bedroom. I hooked it up to both apartment cable boxes. It works off the apartment wireless. I think it has AV output not input, so I can not hook up the DVD player below it to it. I used the red and white AV plugs to output to the Senheiser wireless headset which has to charge up. I stored the broken sound bar by the portable air conditioner. On the lower level of the bedroom side board, I put a bag with all of the old disused remote controls. I moved the Amazon Fire Stick from the bedroom TV setup to the Bathroom TV setup. I moved the Black and Decker Dust Buster to underneath the www.harvard.edu chair in the living room to charge up. I went outside twice, and one of those times, I drank a brewed coffee.

12/14/22 Wednesday 10:50 P.M. I took down the Grace Digital Internet Radio on the right side of the Queen Anne chair at the hallway entrance, and I stored it on the underneath left side of the bed. I took its Boston Sound Bar, and I put it on the Insignia 30 inch television on the living room desk. I had to raise up the TV with two King James bibles, so its remote control has a clear view to the TV sensor behind the Boston Sound Bar. The Boston sound bar turns on with the center power strip on the four switch back on the primary work computer setup. It all works just fine. I put the Boston Sound Bar remote control in front of the Insignia 30 inch TV. I moved the bottle of www.perrier.com from by the www.harvard.edu chair to in front of the chair in the kitchen.
I will now go outside drink a cup of tea with Splenda sweetener and lemon juice. CIO
12/14/22 Wednesday 9:45 P.M. At the Queen Anne chair at the hallway entrance on its right side, I have a Grace Digital internet radio amplifier that still works on the Greenwich Radio Station WGCH, and it is connected to the sound bar on the back side of the Queen Anne chair which turns on with the power strip beneath it on the lower level of the half oval table. It remote controls are by the device on the upper level. I also have the Ocean Digital Internet radio with built in speakers hooked up sitting above it, and it works just fine. Its remote control are by it. Both devices are connected to wired LAN. I put a headset by the Ocean Digital radio by the Ethan Allen recliner to have available.
I think I have all of the electronics in the apartment checked out and working just fine. However, at age 72, I do not feel like sitting on a cold bench on Green Witch Avenue watching the world go by.

12/14/22 Wednesday 9:25 P.M. On the left side of the Ethan Allen recliner as one looks at it, I have the Ocean Digital internet radio amplifier hooked up. It turns on with its remote control. I moved its TCL sound bar to the back top of the Ethan Allen recliner. The power to the TCL sound bar turns on with the power strip switch on the back left as one looks at it power strip. It is connected by LAN, and it works just fine. Both the Ocean Digital remote control and TCL sound bar remote controls sit on top of the Ocean Digital internet radio amplifier. The University of California at Santa Cruz library has a large recording library with famous recordings of famous people. Ernest Hemingway talked very slowly with the heat of Key West. CIO
12/14/22 Wednesday 8:35 P.M. Underneath the bedroom Vizio TV, I removed
the Grace Digital Radio amplifier that does not work anymore, and I put it
underneath the left side of the bed. I have a couple other ones
underneath the bedroom desk too. Underneath the Vizio TV, I connected up
the Ocean Digital radio amplifier to the Monster sound bar underneath the ONN
television to the right, and it all works just fine for internet radio.
The monster sound bar turns on with the control panel underneath it, and
its remote control is on the lower left side of the ONN television. When
former President Trump gave us the three stimuluses, I went hog wild, and I
bought internet radios, but Grace Digital does not support my four internet
radio amplifiers anymore. I have a new Grace Digital Mondo internet
radio on the left side of the living room desk. My old neighbor

On the new Insignia 24 inch TV in the kitchen, since it sits above the control panel and the LG sound bar with optic cable, I had to put three 1.25 inch macaroni and cheese boxes underneath each side to raise it up about 4 inches, so the Insignia remote control can have a clear view to the sensor on the bottom middle of the TV. It now works just fine. With the LG sound bar with Optic cable, both the TV speakers and the LG sound bar speaker work at the same time. I moved the 2.1 sound system that I took out of the kitchen TV setup, and I moved it to the Apple Mac Mini setup on the bedroom desk. Its power is connected to the power strips with individual switches for each device.

I took the Himalayan salt lamp out of the kitchen, and I put it back on the bathroom bookcase. I removed the 2.1 sound system from the Kitchen TV setup, and I stored it behind the extra Primo Vermont Spring water bottle along side the Queen Anne chair underneath the windows. On the kitchen new TV setup, I installed the unused LG sound bar from the bedroom in front of it with its power on the same control panel switch. I had to raise the new TV up another 1.5 inches with www.kraft.com macaroni and cheese boxes. The LG sound bar remote control is with the other remote controls.

On the new Kitchen TV setup, I have it sitting on a control panel. The far right switch turns on the power to the four other switches to the left. The first switch on the right of the four turns on the power to the TV, and I leave that turned on with master switch, so the Smart TV starts up instantly. The second switch to the left turns on the 2.1 sound system which when connected mutes the TV speakers. The far left switch turns on the Roku device on HDMI 3 and the second switch from the left turns on the Amazon stick on HDMI 2. When I setup the Insignia 24 inch 1080 P Smart TV, it mirrored the programs that exist on my Amazon Cube. Thus for the Anglophile community I have Sky News on it from Jolly Old England which still believes in Archer Communications. I guess if one were without resources somewhere in the world, one could try throwing a bottle in the sea with a message. So much for tech details. CIO

12/13/22 Tuesday 10:35 P.M. I have the new Insignia tv all configured in the kitchen. I had to put two boxes of Anne's macaroni and cheese or one each underneath its stand to raise it up above the control panel, so its remote control gets a clear signal. To hook up the HDMI cable to it, I took three 8 foot HDMI cables and two HDMI couplers to create a 24 foot cable to hook it up to the 2 HDMI splitter between the bedroom desk and the primary work computer on the lower shelf of the printer stand. I put ten year old Sceptre 20 inch TV underneath the right front of the bed. I went outside, and I also picked up the mail. CIO
12/13/22 Tuesday 9:05 P.M. I sat outside and the building lobby for a long time. At 7:15 P.M. the https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-24-class-f20-series-led-full-hd-smart-fire-tv/6490138.p?skuId=6490138 for $109.99 and $5.99 shipping and $7.36 tax for $123.34 total delivered by an individual in a car. Best Buy offers same day shipping for $5.99. I tipped the delivery person $20 for the speedy service. I then setup the new television in the kitchen connected to coaxial on HDMI 1, Amazon Fire Stick on HDMI 2, and Roku device on HDMI 3. I also have it connected to coaxial. I have it on the 2.1 speaker system for better sound. I also have it connected to wired LAN. It works just great. I still have to configure some apps on it. I was able to hook up the HDMI cable box cable by put a HDMI 2 splitter to the right of the primary work computer connected to the living room desk TV and the kitchen TV.

On the Xerox color laser printer that I only used to print out my Christmas letter, I had to put in a new Magenta and a new Yellow toner cartridge, and then it worked fine to print out 30 copies on my Christmas letter on legal grade paper in red toner. I then printed out my 27 Christmas Card envelopes on the black toner Xerox laser printer. I stuffed and stamped the cards using 33 sixty cent stamps, and then I went downtown to mail them at the Central Greenwich Post Office. I stopped by the ATM machine at the www.chase.com Bank next to Saks Fifth Avenue, and then down Greenwich Avenue and back up town, and I returned home. I sat outside briefly. I filed this report. CIO

I have checked my Amazon order history, my Wal-Mart order history, my Best buy order history, and my VIP Outlet order history, and I can not find out where I bought the 31.5 inch Insignia television in the bathroom. Since Insignia is a Best buy brand, possibly I bought it from them using a guest account or paypal, so it does not show up in the order. As I can recall, I think it was a sale item for $80, whenever I bought it.
In my Amazon History, I bought an Amazon Echo remote to control my Echo devices, so that is what the extra Amazon Alexa Echo remote is for by the Samsung television.

It all works just fine, and I am now installing the Microsoft Word Update on it. I have to remove the expired Norton Internet Security. The Apple Mac Mini power turns on by the power strip on the lower left side of the desk.

If one leaves the power to turned on them with the power strips or control panels, the Smart TV turn on instantly with their remote control power butters. On the new Vizio TV in the living room, I turned off the JVC sound bar switch, so it will not be left on all of the time.

Laguna is a dry climate if one has arthritis.

12/11/22 Sunday 7:20 A.M. On the 20 inch Sceptre TV on the desk to the right side of the primary work computer, I have the living room cable box on HDMI 1 and the Roku device on HDMI 3. The power to the Roku device is from the power strip on the lower left side of the desk. I disconnected the external speaker system from the TV, because it was causing static. I turned it off with the control panel. The speaker system also work with the HP I5 Desktop computer connected to the Sceptre TV as a monitor. For some reason the Sceptre TV remote control is not always immediately responsive, but it does work in a few seconds.
I will now send out my weekly notes. I will then shut down the primary work computer. I will go outside. I will then eat a Chamboni 8 ounce low sugar raspberry yogurt. I will then go to bed. CIO

The extra Amazon Alexa remote control that I have by the Samsung TV does not work off of my three Amazon Fire Sticks and Amazon Cube, so I do not know where it came from. I have a Amazon Fire Stick on the Vizio 40 inch TV in the bedroom, another Amazon Fire Stick on the bathroom TV, another Amazon Fire Stick on the ONN 40 inch TV to the right of the 40 inch Vizio TV in the bedroom, and a Amazon Cube on the Hisense TV in the bedroom. They all have remote controls that work. Also the five Smart TVs have Amazon Fire Stick features, but do not work off the Amazon Alexa remote control.
I will now go outside again and drink a cup of brewed decaf coffee, but I will first rinse off the www.starbucks.com coffee mug soaking in bleach, and then I will throw out the bleach which stinks. 12/10/22 Saturday 1:15 A.M. On the ONN 40 inch TV in the bedroom on the right side of the Vizio 40 inch TV, I had its right side supported by a small wooden plank sitting on top of the Craig DVD player that I bought for half price at www.cvs.com Greenwich Avenue for $20 about five years ago at Christmas time. I took it out, and I replaced it with a copy of the large print King James Bible to support it. I moved it underneath the ONN TV to the center left, and I have it connected with the AV input on the ONN TV. It works fine, since I never used it very much. Its remote is in front of the TV. I also reconnected the Optic cable from the ONN TV to the Monster sound bar.
I do not use that setup too much, since I watch most of my television from the Ethan Allen recliner in the living room off the new 31.5 inch Vizio Smart TV.
I have five Smart TVs in the apartment, one in the kitchen, two in the living room and two in the bedroom. The older TVs which are not Smart have the external devices plugged into them or are as used as computer monitors.
My brewed tea cup is now cleaned with bleach and rinsed off. I am now cleaning my vintage www.starbucks.com plastic cup with bleach.
Why am I doing all of this. After 39 years of walking on Greenwich Avenue and sitting downtown on Greenwich Avenue and also walking around Tod's Point, I am spending more time at home organizing things. Also I was out of action since July 2022 with the after effects of Covid 19 until recently. Also with the higher price of gasoline it costs me about $4 round trip to drive downtown to the Senior and the Arts Center, which is about what I pay for a good meal. I first returned to Greenwich, Connecticut off www.nantucket.net on December 13, 1983. I was hospitalized in the Greenwich Hospital twice about that time for swollen ankles from walking around homeless in Manhattan for two weeks, although I had a friend's telephone number out on Sands Point, Long Island. The second time in the Greenwich Hospital, they gave me a complete $7,500 Physical which determined I was disabled, and when I was discharged Greenwich Social Services got me a $240 a month attic apartment at 100 Milbank Avenue, where I lived four months, and the Greenwich Welfare department paid my $240 a month rent and gave me $200 a month to live off a lot of which went to inexpensive meals at the Greenwich Hospital Cafeteria. Although I was on Welfare for about three years before SSI Disability, it never occurred to my Greenwich Social Worker that I was eligible for Unemployment Compensation from my dish washing job out on www.nantucket.net . I first moved to Greenwich in June 1962, and I have relatives whom have lived here since the 1870s. Thus I have been around this area for sixty years a good deal of the time on a night schedule.

12/09/22 Friday 11:55 P.M. I my only CRT TV is the little 12 inch JVC TV on coaxial cable on the lower shelf of the printer stand to the right of the primary work computer. I put new batteries in its remote control, and it works fine. I only paid $40 for it at the Merry Go Round Mews thrift shop ten years ago, and it works just fine. It would be difficult to get rid of, since all of the cables to the Net Switches are in front of it.

12/09/22 Friday 11:50 P.M. I worked on the ONN 40 inch TV in the bedroom to the right of Vizio 40 inch TV. Its control panel turns on and off the power from the far right switch. The next two switches from the right turn on the ONN TV and the sound bar. I have an input splitter on it, so when one turns on the two far left switches, it turns on the Amazon Fire Stick and the Roku device and there is also a Sony Multimedia Player attached to the three input switch. It all works fine, and I have the remote controls in front of the TV to control it. Its HDMI 1 is the bedroom cable box. Its HDMI 3 is the living room cable box. Its HDMI 2 is the HDMI input switch box. I still have a spare Amazon remote that I do not know where it belongs. I left it by the Samsung television. CIO
12/09/22 Friday 10:25 P.M. I cancelled the coffee cup. The bleach cleaned my old coffee cup like new. I am now using bleach on the tea cup which is better shape. I have a Roku LAN device that be connected to the Sansung television, it one connects it to the HDMI 2 couple that is currently connected to the bedroom television. It turns on with the control panel on the Danish end table to the left of the Samsung television. I still have an Amazon Alexa remote by the Samsung television, but I do not know what it goes to, unless it is one of the Alexa wireless devices. All of the other Amazon Alexa Firesticks and Alexa Cube have their own remotes.

I took the Amazon stick of the Hisense TV in the bedroom which still has the Amazon cube on it, and I put the Amazon Stick on the bathroom TV. I put a new power strip on the bathroom TV to control its four wireless devices. From the northwest corner in the living room, I moved the Memorex DVD player to underneath the Hisense TV in the bedroom connected on HDMI 2.

12/08/22 Thursday 4:20 A.M. I moved the Amazon Cube from the Samsung smart TV in the living to HDMI 1 on the Hisense 40 inch TV in the Northwest corner of the bedroom on the Rubbermaid hamper. It works just fine. I disconnected the HDMI cable from the bathroom television and put it on coaxial. I connected that HDMI cable to the Samsung 49 inch TV in the living room, and now the Samsung television has both cable boxes on it. On the new 31.5 inch Vizio TV in the living room, when switching it to the bedroom cable box on HDMI 2, one might need to switch it back and forth to HDMI 1 to get it to work. Still having switching it, the bedroom cable box on HDMI 2 works just fine.

I moved the new Vizio 31.5 inch TV from the Northwest corner in the bedroom to left side of the living room in front of the Ethan Allen recliner. The English Cocker Spaniel died, so she was down to the Pug named Charlie. One of the few times, she ever left the house; she had me show Charlie the Pug at the Long Island dog show. Her grandson John and her daughter Laura liked Siamese Cats though. When I see a number of Pugs out here, I think some of her friends are visiting out here. Vivian's lawyer used to live on Round Hill Road in Greenwich. She owned John G. Simmons insurance underwriter that insured the refineries in New Jersey. She traveled a lot being Mr. Grumman's neighbor, and she visited every five star hotel in the world. CIO

I used to walk Julie Bolton's White German Shepard and Doberman Pincher in Riverside Park, when I lived at her apartment at 315 West 74th Street. They started the Pooper Scooper Law, and the discarded New York Time in the waste bins were handy for picking up the poop in those days. That was the period from November 1980 until February 1982, when those winters were very cold after Mount St. Helens erupted. Julie was the head of word processing at Cyrus Vance's law firm at East 57th Street and Madison Avenue after he was Jimmy Carter's Secretary of State. Cyrus Vance's son is now the District Attorney in Manhattan. Julie could type a 186 words a minute on those old word processors before computers. Previously she was the Secretary to the head of the business school at www.nyu.edu . Her ex husband was a software engineer in the State Department in Libya, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia; so they had some political connections. I was around their son John Bolton whom I met in Key West in February 1978 until February 1983, when I finished building the garage apartment at the grandmother's house in Plandome Manor, Long Island. The grandmother's mother was part of the Kaiser of Germany's consulate in Manhattan from before World War I. Once when I was out at Plandome Manor, Long Island, a man showed up at the house that looked like Bill Clinton, but John Bolton told me he was the Fuller Brush salesman. Vivian West the grandmother knew Millicent Fenwick, whom she went to Swarthmore College with, and was the first woman in the House of Representatives. So much for history.

12/06/22 Tuesday 9:30 P.M. When I took history at Greenwich Country Day, Harrison Hoffman the History teacher from the R.A.F. in England used to talk about the Water Shed in Greenwich. There are four dams in Greenwich and possibly two more. There is the Mianus River Dam, the Conyers Farm Dam, the Lake Avenue Reservoir Dam, and the Glenville Dam. Possibly on the creek on the East Side of the Griff Harris golf course, there is an old earthen dam, and possibly there is another earthen dam by the North Street reservoir. My worst fear is if the large Lake Avenue Reservoir dam gave away, there would be a torrent of water down Lake Avenue and down downtown Greenwich. There might be another water control project on the south side of I-95 around Bruce Park. With settlers living in this area for 400 years, there has been a lot of alliterating of the original landscape from when they first arrived here.
I have always wandered about the Connecticut River warming or cooling Long Island Sound changing the current of the Gulf Stream off shore and effecting the weather in Northern Europe, but that is just a theory. CIO

It is a massive structure which shows how they knew to build in stone in the old days. Since it is about 110 years old, it seems to have lasted the test of time. The natural water shed down stream from it has some important properties, so hopefully it will last a while longer. On the reservoir on the north side of I-684, I used to see people ice fishing, when I would drive up to North Salem, New York to visit a friend. For the Oster oven in the kitchen, I stored the extra wire rack, pizza pan, and baking pan in the lower center cabinet with the other pots and pans, so the Oster oven and kitchen chair are now clear. When using it one has to turn on the stove fan above it. With the higher price of food, I do not do that much baking anymore. The Oster oven beside bake has a Turbo button, which I think I will use to bake the 2.5 pound eye round of beef at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes. I have a baking support rack to use with it. For now I took the HDMI cable off the bedroom splitter and the bathroom TV, and I hooked it up to the four splitter in the living room and the 40 inch ONN TV to the right of the 40 inch Vizio TV in the bedroom. It all works just fine for two different cable boxes in the bedroom. The bathroom TV still has coaxial. I still need the 15 foot HDMi cable to hook up the bathroom TV to the splitter in the bedroom.

The living room 4 splitter powers the Samsung television, the Hisense TV on HDMI 1, and the Westinghouse TV all in the living room. Thus one can have the bedroom cable box playing on the Hisense TV in the living room with the living room cable box playing a different channel off the Samsung television. I put two new AA Alkaline batteries in the push light by the apartment entrance. I tried to replace the batteries in the LED small light switches by the bathroom light switch and the kitchen light switch, but they do not work anymore, so I threw them out. The Dell Latitude E 6400 laptop now boots up without any problems. I gave a neighbor with a sore tooth a package of Dentek.

12/05/22 Monday 12:35 A.M. On the bedroom desk, I put a thick place mat part way underneath the laptop stack, so it protrudes far enough from the front of the bedroom desk to support the Logitech wireless keyboard connected to the Apple Mac Mini for easy use. For some reason the Dell E 6400 laptop at the top of the laptop stack was left turned on with its lid closed. Possibly when I put the new battery in, its bios settings were changed. I had to change the SATA setting to the third setting in its bios setting, and it now boots properly no problem, and the battery is fully charged. I have the two Dell E 6400 and E 6410 power supplies plugged into the far left power strip on the bedroom desk, which I turn off when not using them. Even when not using the Dell laptops, there power supplies tend to be warm. Everything seems to be running fine for now. I will now go outside again.

12/04/22 Sunday 11:20 P.M. In the bedroom, I moved the NASA shuttle picture to hanging behind the bedroom desk behind the ONN 40 inch television monitor. I moved from in between the desk and the mahogany bureau the two Lakso box fans to the bedroom window behind the Seiki TV connected to an over the air antenna. I have the Seiki TV plugged into an extension cord that turns on with the bedroom light switch. It is to be used for a few channels in case the cable system goes down. I moved the box of light bulbs to in front of the side board with the Stanley Jump start system on top of it. I moved the portable air conditioner to in between the bedroom desk and the mahogany bureau, so there is ample room to get at the bedroom desk and the left side of the bed. I moved the open Scott toilet paper bundle to the right side in front of the bedroom desk. The Logitech wireless keyboard for the Mac Mini with Catalina rests on the laptop stack on the bedroom desk. If it is too high, one can use it on their lap while sitting on the left side of the bed.

12/04/22 Sunday 10:05 P.M. I fixed the bedroom LAN problem, I had a LAN cable plugged into two external ports on the Netgear Switch. Thus the LAN network cable works on the Vizio 40 inch Smart TV, and the desktop computers on the bedroom desk on the same LAN work just fine. I have a stack of papers I have to sort through, so I took it off the bedroom floor and put it on the center right chair at the oak dining table.

12/04/22 Sunday 6:00 P.M. On the bedroom 40 inch Vizio TV, I did a Factory reset, and then configured it. It still does not work off the wired LAN but only wireless, so possibly the newer software on the television does not support a wired LAN since the new Vizio TV does not have a wired LAN but only wireless. Still it now has the same new interface as the new Vizio TV. I then turned off its far left power strip second switch back.

12/04/22 Sunday 5:00 P.M. I worked on the primary 40 inch Vizio TV in the bedroom. For some reason it does not work off its wired LAN, although it says it is connected, so I disconnected the LAN wire at the net switch in the bedroom windows, and now it works off the apartment primary wireless. With the LAN connected the wireless does not work. Still it is fine for now. I left both power strips turned off on the two Vizio TVs in the bedroom, so their remote controls do not interfere with each other.

12/04/22 Sunday 3:35 P.M. I took the old 20 inch Insignia television out of the bathroom, and I stored it underneath the right front of the bed. I moved from the Northwest corner of the bedroom the Insignia 31.5 inch television to the bathroom connected to coaxial cable, and tomorrow it will be connected to HDMI cable from the bedroom cable box. On the new 31.5 inch Vizio television, I put the legs on with four Philips screws. I put it on the shelf on the Rubbermaid hamper in the northwest corner of the bedroom connected to a HDMI cable from the bedroom cable box, the primary apartment WiFi, and a Roku device on HDMI 2. I set it up, and it works just fine. One slight problem is the bedroom primary television is a older 40 inch Vizio television, so the same Vizio remote controls interfere with each other. However, that can be over come by turning of the power strips to either of the Vizio televisions. The new Vizio television has a power strip on the right side of the bedroom desk. The 40 inch older Vizio television power strip is on the left of it second switch back. The new Vizio 31.5 inch 1080 P TV has a lot of new features that I have not explored. I will now go outside and drink a brewed coffee.

I went for a long drive to the Port Chester Shopping Center to www.target.com . There was not much traffic, but the Port Chester shopping center was busy. I will put the new Vizio television in the Northwest corner of the bedroom, and I will move the current 31.5 inch Insignia television there back into the bathroom where it was before. I then sat out in the park across the street with one of my car umbrellas in the rain for a long time. I then went back into CVS and toured the store more carefully. I bought a Anne's Croissant for $1.99. I then ate the croissant in the park across the street. I then used the bathroom again at the CFCF coffee shop. I then drove down to the Board of Education Veterans monument, and I sat for a while enjoying the Holiday lights. I paid a dollar in parking downtown. I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I donated a $5 bill to the fund raiser for pediatric care. I bought two 6 packs of Stop and Shop multigrain English muffins for $3 each six pack, four 15 ounce Maria Callender chicken pot pies for $3.50 each, and two 13 ounce Marie Callender shrimp fajita for $3.50 each for $27 total. I then returned home. I did not get any mail. I put away my groceries. I went outside, and I put the grey bag back in the car. I drank a brewed coffee. I filed this report. As of this January 2023, my Social Security Supplement Income is going up from $841 a month to $914 a month. However, usually when I get a cost of living increase, my EBT Food Stamps go down by that amount or my rent goes up by that amount, so in 39 years of disability income, I have never gotten a real cost of living increase. 12/02/22 Friday 10:40 P.M. I finished setting up the Asus Eee PC netbook, and I stored it away on the back center of the bedroom desk. It runs just fine, and its battery is at 100%. I used a small USB splitter, and I plugged in the two Logitech wireless sending units, and I plugged it into the white Dell I 7 tower computer with the Logitech wireless keyboard and wireless mouse on the end of the oak dining table at that location. Of course it can be changed to any of the seven desktops at that location.
With the Netgear Nighthawk wireless router reset by using a paper clip to reset the router, and then configuring it again in the web browser of the primary work computer, my primary wireless in the apartment and LAN is much better. The Amazon Cube LAN now works. Also on the primary work computer, FTP to my remote primary web site is now once again fast.

At Zen Stationary, I bought Holiday scratch card for a dollar, and I won $2. I toured the www.apple.com store. I then went by the Greenwich Cigar store, and I bought another scratch card for a dollar, and I lost for net profit of nothing. After my walk I sat out for a while. I then drove up to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I toured the store. I chatted with the pharmacist at the drug store across the street. I put the Logitech wireless keyboard with the Logitech wireless mouse from the broken keyboard set to be set up at the far end of the oak dining table. I am still installing the Windows 11 Rufus updates on the Asus Eee PC Netbook, but I am almost done. I will now go outside again.

12/02/22 Friday 4:15 P.M. I chatted with a friend. The web site where I ordered the Asus Netbook battery from that I cancelled was a fake web site or an outdated web site, so I will have to dispute the charge with www.chase.com once the charge has cleared. I am disputing the charge for the Polaroid TV stand that was advertised as a new TV, that never shipped and no response from the vendor. Chase will refund the money in five days. The good news is that, when I took the Asus Netbook Eee PC battery out to get the battery number, and then I put it back in, it started working, and it is 99% charged. I moved the white Princess telephone off the bedroom desk to the left side on top of the HP laser printer on top of the portable air conditioner that is disconnected for the winter. On the older slower Asus Eee PC Netbook, it takes a while to install the Windows 11 Rufus updates, but it has Microsoft Office 2019 on it, and for simpler tasks, it is a smaller lighter item to carry around, particularly if one were traveling. It is the last computer that I had to maintain too, so I will have to keep busy with other activities. I will now go downtown to forage around. CIO

I went out the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a five gallon bottle of Primo Vermont Spring water with bottle return for $6.95, a 42 ounce Smart Balance spread for $9.69, a 49 ounce Simply Orange grapefruit juice for $4.59, and a 49 ounce Almond Breeze vanilla unsweetened almond milk for $5.29 for $26.66 total. I then returned home. I used my little folding cart to bring up the 42 pound bottle of spring water. I then went outside, and I put the folding cart and the grey bag back in the car. I filed this report.

12/01/22 Thursday 3:40 P.M. On the Dell Latitude E 6400 to get it working, I just press F2 at boot, and I had to reset the Bios, so it now works just fine with Windows 10 configured. I am now installing Norton Internet Security 360 on it. The bedroom LAN is now working. For some reason, its LAN cable was plugged into the wrong net switch at the primary work computer setup.
