I have a friend that is part Dutch American from Bedford, New York, and he grew up in the house that Kerry Kennedy now owns next to Helen Clay Frick's property. He once told me that the Vanderbilt family that own the Breakers in Newport, Rhode Island also have a home in South Salem, New York which has dirt roads, but they probably have homes elsewhere such as Vanderbilt Museum and http://www.biltmore.com/ , and since Anderson Cooper's mother Gloria is a Vanderbilt, his home west of Washington Square in Greenwich Village would be considered a Vanderbilt property, and I think possibly one of the homes were the Ralph Lauren store is on the Upper East Side might have been a Vanderbilt residence, or one of the other homes in that neighborhood that they tore down. They also used to have a house in Palm Beach, but whether they still own it or not is opened to speculation. The last time I chatted with Fred Von Mierers around 1988, he told me he was working for Mrs. Vanderbilt at the Breakers in Newport, Rhode Island, so possibly if he should be still alive, he is working for them elsewhere in the world. I think they also had a nice home in England, since they had relatives there as they also had relatives in Spain. CIO

<888> 12/11/12 Tuesday 10:45 P.M.. I chatted with a local security official. I ate the last two ounces of an opened bag of 60% reduced fat Chex Mix and a few day old Danish pastry. I have plenty of food in my apartment, but I am trying to lose some weight. I used to know Roger Schultz over in Stamford, Connecticut who lived across the street from http://www.abb.com/ on Long Ridge Road. He was a software engineer for Schweppes beverages. He told me was a personal friend of Nan Rockefeller and had planned to move into my current retirement home, until he became more prosperous. If Roger is alive, he is probably better in computers than I am, but since he weighed somewhere between 400 to 600 pounds, he is awfully expensive to feed. He is a member of Christ Church here in Greenwich where his parent are buried. I have never heard from him in over 20 years, so it goes to show some advanced computer people manage to stay private on the internet. When I went to the Microsoft Conference in Hauppauge, Long Island about five years ago at the Hyatt Hotel there, there was a white man who was about six feet tall and six feet wide who was about twice as big as Roger Schultz. I assumed that was Carl Mountain who is chief of security for Microsoft, but I did not chat with him, and he hid during the conference, so most people there did not see him. However, where I was born in Alton, Illinois; Sam Walthrop lived there, and he was 8 foot 9 inches tall, and there use to be a woman in Alabama that was also about that tall. Thus when one gets away from the keyboard crowd near the big cities, there tends to be some larger people whom work in other activities that some people take for granite. The largest national group in the world is suppose to be the Holland Dutch, so they have some big people over there. When I first visited Frankfurt, Germany in December 1980 on the return flight there were four men on the plane over seven feet tall and over 400 pounds apiece, and they would walk to the back of the old jet, and it would go up, and they would walk to the front of the old jet, and it would go down. The largest group of people I have seen in the United States of America is in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in October 1983, and there were about five thousand white people six feet six to seven feet tall, and the teenagers were the ones that were over six feet six inches tall, and the grandparents were over seven feet tall. There was an eight foot tall oil portrait of the five star general Omar Bradley in the lobby of the Bahia Mar Hotel and Yacht Club, so I figured some of the tall people might have been http://www.army.mil/ personnel. When I came out of south Florida in the spring of 1977, I stopped by the Science convention at the Prudential Center in Boston, and a http://www.army.mil/ recruiter interviewed me, and took me out to dinner. He was a major in the Army and he looked like Ronald Reagan, but if he hired me, I never got a pay check. If they do not pay you, there is no point paying any attention to them no matter whom they claim to know as far as I am concerned. I will now shut down the primary work computer, and I will go to bed soon. CIO
!!!!!! <888> 12/11/12 Tuesday 9:25 P.M.. I chatted with a relative. One of my main reasons for objecting to the new ceiling tile and insulation installers from doing my apartment is that from having done a lot of heavy work over the years, I once had a double hernia in my groin for years. About ten years ago, the Greenwich Hospital repaired the groin hernia on the right side with an $8,000 operation that Medicaid paid for, but I was advised not to do anymore heavy lifting. I still have the groin hernia on the left side. Although I have contacted my doctor at the Greenwich Hospital and my Town of Greenwich Social Worker and a local lawyer that knows my family, nobody seems to have enough influence with the Greenwich Housing Authority to prevent them from bothering me. They say the work men will move the items in my apartment that need to be moved, and all I have to do is disconnect the electronics, but there are a lot of items that can not be moved that easily without moving other items. I think they expect me to move most of the stuff and just come in an do the work. I obviously can move some of the lighter items, but a great deal of the electronics weigh up to 40 pounds or more, particularly the Sony television in the living room. From my viewpoint, since they have refused to listen to me on a logical basis, I should try to figure out what to do. There is not much that I can do, but try to move it slowly and pedantically the day before which would also involve reinstalling the items each day after the two primary rooms are done on two seperate days. I quite frankly think they are being totally unreasonable by not cooperating with me. I obviously know my apartment best. CIO
<888> 12/11/12 Tuesday 8:10 P.M.. According to the Greenwich Time http://www.greenwichtime.com/ a couple of years ago Sutton Properties - Greenwich, CT Patch owned the old Finch's Drug store at 301 Greenwich Avenue where http://www.starbucks.com/ is now located. However, with all of the real estate tycoons unloading properties in the major recession in America, it might have changed hands without anybody noticing. According to https://greenwichct.munisselfservice.com/citizens/RealEstate/Default.aspx?mode=new , 301 Greenwich Avenue is owned by 309 Greenwich Ave. Associates LLC . According to 309 GREENWICH AVE ASSOCIATES LLC | GREENWICH, CT , Marvin S. Weinberg is the only employee and according to the Greenwich Time, somebody named Weinstein also owns the house to the east of the pier on Steamboat Road in Indian Harbor. Although I might have seen the Weinberg or Weinstein family around, the family that my family use to know in Greenwich is the Warburg family not the Weinberg or Weinstein families. Since Jim Warburg was on the board of directors of http://www.polaroid.com/ , and since my father was the vice president of manufacturing at Polaroid, we obviously had some sort of business relationship. According to the Greenwich Time here in Greenwich, Jim Warburg financed John F. Kennedy's political campaign for President, and since I am a Republican, I figure my Republican friends might not benefit from me networking with the Warburg family, although in Florida, we once owned the property next to their house in Deerfield Beach which was no McMansion by any stretch of the imagination. However, my mother was my father's second wife. His first wife was from the Coon family. His first wife's father was suppose to have been one of the founders of the Household Finance Company HSBC Finance - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia which merged with http://www.hsbc.com/ , so probably some of my father's first wife's relatives are in the banking business today. The oldest half sister from that marriage was a Nursing Administrator trained at http://www.nyu.edu/ and spent most of her career in Africa and the Middle East. Another child from that marriage has Downs Syndrome. Quite frankly, people whom rely on cocktail party gossip tend not to be too well informed, since they are drinking alcohol most of the time. The area where that family lives is near where the Prohibition movement started, so the politicians that make money off alcohol were not too happy with Prohibition, not to mention the countries that export the product that so many people consume worldwide. The Jim Warburg that I knew as a youth did not drink alcohol, and he rode his Raleigh bicycle 20 miles back and forth to Greenwich Country Day, and he did not spend the winter in Greenwich but Florida, and he dropped out of http://www.harvard.edu/ because he needed to work to support himself, so he worked at the Commonwealth Avenue SAAB parts department, and he knew quite a few other people in the auto parts business in Boston. He had a back ground as a concert pianist, but he did not try to make a living off of it. CIO

No Christmas bargains on the internet, but I do not need anything else that I can think of, but some peace and quiet, which will not last if they keep insisting one doing my ceiling insulation and tile replacement which seems to be a bunch of government nonsense to me after having lived here 24 years as is. If they really wanted to make the apartments warmer and cooler, they would pay for the electric heat, but the obvious solution never occurs to the bureaucrats whomever they might be. CIO

<888> 12/11/12 Tuesday 2:55 P.M.. I chatted with a friend. Up north the British do not go to beach, because they are fair skinned. They spend most of their time around their horses and various equestrians activities. I think the poorer ones play golf, if they can afford it. When my family had a corporate membership at the Greenwich Country Club Golf & Country Club - GreenwichCC starting in the early 1960s, the company back then which was http://www.monsanto.com/ paid the $5,000 bond to belong, and I recall membership fees were $250 a month. However, it is now more expensive with inflation in the national economy. Still back then Titleist Titleist - #1 ball in golf | Golf Company | Golf Balls - Titleist.com golf balls cost $1.25 and a new set of golf clubs cost $300 and a good golf bag cost a $100, so the it was not a cheap hobby. I had an eight handicap on the Greenwich Country Club golf course, but when I went down to south Florida in the fall of 1976, none of the young people my age could afford golf, and they were not interested in golf, so I got stuck around beach activities. Wiley Middleton did use to always wear a blue The Masters 2012 - The Masters, Masters Golf, Masters Leaderboard, Augusta national, When is the Masters, Golf, Augusta Georgia, Masters Tournament, Augusta Golf hat, and he was the primary older person down there. From what I can tell, the Florida business community was more concerned with local business than Wall Street, so I guess it is much the same today. CIO
<888> 12/11/12 Tuesday 2:25 P.M.. For POOR people this is about the best deal in Key West, Florida Key West Hotel | Florida Keys Oceanfront Resort - Best Western Key Ambassador , and it is an easy walk from the local airport, but it is a long way from all of the downtown activity in Key West Live Duval Street Web Cam in Key West, Florida :: Sloppy Joe's Bar :: . I was told by a rather large individual in Greenwich, Connecticut who rents Port-O-Potties here that the Mafia runs everything in Key West, and they collect all of the money from the Bars and Restaurants at the end of every night. However, when it is freezing in Palm Beach, it can be in the 70 degrees Fahrenheit in Key West. CIO
<888> 12/11/12 Tuesday 2:05 P.M.. Lewis H. Lapham - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia whom might know says the whole world today is now run from a golf course at the John's Island Club , so if one wants to pay a half million dollar bond plus the price of the real estate there to be part of the group of people whom run the World, I guess one can still do that. However, most of them go elsewhere up north during the warmer times of the year, so they are not all Florida people. I do know a local security official when he tried to bother the people in Vero Beach, Florida ended up getting a hard time from them and came back here having lost about fifty pounds. CIO
<888> 12/11/12 Tuesday 1:35 P.M.. If I were going to hire a professional lawyer in Greenwich, Connecticut, I would hire this person's law firm Jeremiah Milbank Jr., Donor and G.O.P. Official, Dies at 87 - New York Times and Milbank - New York . His daughter Vicky Milbank was one of my co class photographers in the class of 1965 at Greenwich Country Day . Since I am very near sighted from doing close work all of these years, some people whom are more far sighted might recognize all of these people that I do not recognize after all of these years of working close up. However, that would be an invasion of privacy from my viewpoint. If once reads and works on computers all of the time, one tends to be a bit near sighted. I do recognize a lot of the town stalkers, since they tend to hang out downtown all of the time, where I exercise walk. In between World War I and World II a lot of foreign agents moved into this area, and when they lost World War II, they stayed and prospered in this area. I do know Pitney Bowes used to make microdot machinery that was used by various spies through out the world. Some people in the United States of America still regard the http://www.un.org/ as being a nest of spies. Since I only know English and four to five years of high school French and six years of Latin, I do not have the advanced communications skills to deal with the rather large international community that we have developed here with all of the international business in this area. Even Vivian West, when I knew her way out on Long Island use to enjoy listening to the local Greenwich, Connecticut radio station for our provincial point of view versus the New York Times. A lot of the politicians in Greenwich, Connecticut in the old days use to be in the beer business, so more than likely they had German connections. CIO

<888> 12/11/12 Tuesday 12:15 P.M.. From what I know, the highest ranking heads of state my father Louis Dale Scott dealt with many years ago was Queen Elizabeth II, the King of Belgium, and members of the Imperial Japanese family. Locally here in the United States of America, I know he once visited David Rockefeller's office. However, most of those people are older anymore, so they have younger people representing them whom frequently have different points of view. Around the Bush group here in Greenwich, Connecticut and Kennebunkport, Maine, we probably dealt with a similar group of people. The highest ranking foreign head of state I have seen in Greenwich, Connecticut is Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair and current former head of state is George H.W. Bush, when he was only vice President. I saw him twice once at the Greenwich High School, when I could afford to wear a three piece suit and once outside of John Becker's house when nobody showed up for a fund raiser. If anyone else important showed up, I was unaware of them, and they were just another face in the crowd. I have also seen George W. Bush, Ronald Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, and Jimmy Carter. I have seen people in Greenwich that look like Bill Clinton and Hilary Clinton, but they might have been just look a likes, since they did not have any noticeable security. There are a lot of other people in the world that look like famous people, but from experience when the real people show up when they are in office, one tends to see a lot of the local State Police. The highest ranking head of state that I have seen in the United States of America is Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip. However, when I visited the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France in the winter of 1992, I probably saw quite a few heads of state. I was around Boris Yeltsin in Paris before those Winter Olympics. Rich people all know each other, so they tend to know and see each other more frequently that I get to see them. I have been to Ronald Reagan's first inaugural and George H.W. Bush's inaugural, so I might have seen some important people there, but it is so cold in January in Washington D.C., most people are just waiting to get back inside where it is warmer.

They did listen. The highest ranking government official that I know about that has been in my apartment is Larry Berger an http://www.fbi.gov/ agent who works at Two Federal Plaza in Manhattan. He saw my apartment, when he bought the 1993 Buick Roadmaster station wagon from me. However, the garage apartment that I built out at Plandome Manor, Long Island, New York was more deluxe, since it was in the wealthiest zip code in the Unites States of America. Fred von Mierers apartment next to the http://www.un.org/ was even more deluxe, because he was taking over Bill Baldwin's business, and he showed up in the Eugena Shepard column of the New York Post shaking hands with Nelson Rockefeller - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . Being around the Rockefeller group of associates, he obviously knew other established people. When one connects an HDMI cable to it, it cripples one of the two monitor ports, but when I connected the 15 foot HDMI cable from the third IBM ThinkCentre to the HDMI switch box connected to HDMI 2 port on the Haier LCD TV, it works just fine. However, for some reason, one can not switch the connections on the switch box with it connected, and it just works directly. Thus if one wants to use the HDMI switch box for other devices, one has to disconnect the third IBM ThinkCentre HDMI cable from both the computer and the HDMI switch box which is no problem. I moved the IBM ATI 128 meg. I bought a 40 count box of Hallmark Cards | Shop for Ecards, Birthday Cards, Greeting Cards & More Christmas cards for $12.99 less a 20% CVS discount of $2.60 and .66 tax for $11.05 total. I then went by the new Greenwich Post Office, and they are out of Christmas stamps, so I bought forty Ronald Reagan .45 forever stamps for $18 total. I then finished my walk. I used my umbrella today, since it was raining. I then returned home. I put the new Eagle air conditioning cord on the Sharp Convection oven connected to the center counter kitchen electrical socket. I ran the Sharp convection oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes and then for 15 minutes, and it did not quit working, so hopefully I have fixed it by using a heavier duty extension cord. <888> 12/06/12 Thursday 11:20 A.M.. My social worker and the ceiling installer inspected my apartment. They will get back to me next Tuesday. They either will do it next Wednesday and Thursday or the week after that. We agreed I will have to disconnect all of the electronics in the way of the work areas. I will move some of the smaller items, and the ceiling installers will move some of the heavier items. I guess we will stack them up and cover them in the hallway. The ceiling installer seems to think it will take two days. Getting at the areas on the outside wall corners will be the most difficult, since they go up ten feet to the original ceiling. They claim they can do the job whatever it takes. However, the FIC server desk and the Microwave Stand in the primary computer work area will have to be moved, and the Sony television setup on the other side of the living room will have to moved along with the smaller pieces of furniture supporting the computers and the Ethan Allen recliner. Since the bedroom is very compact, it might be a lot more complicated getting a latter into it, but they say they have a tall skinny person to do the work. Since the Dutch and the British have been doing the most in this area to improve the interior decoration over these last 400 years, I put the Dutch Tricolor and the British Union Jacks back up in the hallway. If they keep getting down on my case, I will put the Scottish St. Andrews flag and the Saudi Arabian flags which represent a lot more energy than I have locally. People do not network with me, because television in this area says that Donald http://www.trump.com/ is the only person with money that knows how to get thing done. I guess everyone else is retired or headed to the four winds down south. I showed Windows 8 to my Social Worker. Back in the winter of 1977, I was hitchhiking from Key West, Florida to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and around Marathon, Florida, I found a Colonel's flight suit for the http://www.af.mil/ and North American Aerospace Defense Command in the bushes. <888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 11:25 A.M.. Two of the ceiling and insulation installers rang my door bell. They seem to think I am a Hyannisport Kennedy which is nobody important as far as I am concerned, since the Scotch Irish have been improving America for a lot longer than any newcomers from Ireland. They wanted to do my apartment tomorrow, but I convinced them to do it next week. They told me I would have to disconnect the computers and move over half of the stuff out of the apartment into the hallway which would not be a secure location to leave the valuable equipment unsecured. I called up a local lawyer Lawrence E. Larson: Greenwich, CT Lawyer, Lawyer, Attorney, Attorneys , but he has not returned my phone call. I chatted with a friend who is in law enforcement, and he agreed with me I do not have the energy to move all of the various items for the installation progress. The friend has seen my apartment unlike other people. He recommended to me to get a note from my Doctor to try to prevent them from bothering me anymore. I left a message with my Doctor. I am 62 years old and on medication, and I do not have the energy to go through a lengthy disassemblement of my apartment no matter what benefits the Greenwich Housing Authority thinks the insulation and new ceiling tiles would add. If the various government agencies involved were really concerned, they would pay for the utility bills instead of harassing myself a disabled individual on medication. I will have to wait and see what develops. Obviously, over a long period of time, I could disconnect various electronics, and have the ceiling people carry them out into the apartment along with various pieces of furniture, but that would be time consuming for them, and it would be costly waste of money for the Greenwich Housing Authority. It was the Federal Government that encouraged people living in Government Housing to set up their own failed business activities, and when I visited http://www.westpoint.mil/ for graduation over 15 years ago, it was Secretary of Defence Perry that encouraged the military to be High Tech. Obviously, the United States Government tells people do certain things, but when push comes to shove, they do not give anyone backup and pretty much ignore the complaints of the general public. What I do as a volunteer, http://www.ibm.com/ charges over $400 an hour for, so I would encourage people not to underestimate the worth of my activity over these last 23 years. I do have a large number of friends and associates. Maybe http://www.cl-p.com/ can turn off the electricity to various local groups whom are trying to exercise power beyond their authority. I will now make cigarettes. CIO

!!!!!! <888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 9:05 A.M.. To get the PCI Express video cards to work on the IBM ThinkCentre computers that I have http://mikelouiscott.com/computer.htm with PCI Express, there is one slightly complicated trick that one has to do with installation http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http://logout.hu/cikk/pcie_vga-t_ibm_thinkcentre_s51-be/teljes.html . Basically with the card facing one with the cable connectors on the left, on the long slot, one has to cover all of the gold connectors with scotch tape, except the first seven on the left. It works on the other two PCI Express 16 cards that I have. If one does not do that, the card will not work just plugging it in.

The order with tracking of USPS.com® - Track & Confirm on the order for five 15 Pin SVGA VGA Female to Female Gender Changer Adapter Converter Plug Coupler | eBay for $1.89 each with free shipping for $9.45 total arrived. I took the HDMI to VGA cable off the Haier HDTV and the Abit computer, and I connected it to the fourth IBM ThinkCentre by the Hallway. I then used one of the VGA couplers to connect it to another VGA cable which I connected to the Haier HDTV. I then moved the Acer 19 inch LCD monitor from the Abit computer to the fourth IBM ThinkCentre. I moved the Dell 20 inch LCD monitor to the FIC server. I moved the Eizo 19 inch LCD monitor to the Abit computer. In Dual Display on the fourth IBM ThinkCentre both displays work just fine for multimedia viewing off the internet. It is a faster computer than the Abit computer. However, the current IBM display card in it does not support dual monitors in the Windows 8 Demo. I could order another display card like the one in the third IBM ThinkCentre for $19, which does support dual monitors in Windows 8, but since it is only a Windows 8 Demo installation it is not necessary, unless I thought it was important to display Windows 8 demo on the Haier 32 inch HDTV, which I could do with the third IBM ThinkCentre, if I needed to do so. They were planting a new tree at the entrance to the Board of Education Parking lot. It looks quite nice, but it needs to grow a bit. I walked lower Greenwich Avenue as far as the SUBWAY.com , and I bought a six inch meat ball and cheese sub with the extras for $2 and a ham and cheese sub with the extras for $2 and .25 tax for $4.25 total. I then walked up Greenwich Avenue, and I ate the meatball sub on a bench in the center of town. I then used the bathroom at the Senior and the Arts Center. I then drove over to CVS on Greenwich Avenue. I picked up a prescription. I bought two 40 count boxes of Truvia sweetener for $2.99 each for $5.98 total. I then drove over to the Stop and Shop. I bought a six pack of day old Kaiser rolls for $1.50, a 16 ounce package of Smart Balance Lite for $3.39, two 14.5 Marie Callender turkey pot pies for $2.50 each, two 14.5 ounce Marie Callender beef pot pies for $2.50 each, two 12 ounce generic honey for $2.25 each, two 48 ounce Quaker Old Fashioned oatmeal for $4.99 each, a 8 ounce Stop and Shop Parmesan and Romano cheese for $2.99, a 12 roll bundle of Scott Toilet Tissue for $6.99, a 10 ounce bottle of Kikkoman soy sauce for $2.29, a 16 ounce package of Stop and Shop Maple flavored bacon for $3.99, and bananas for .79 a pound for .62 and .44 tax for $46.69 total. I then returned home, and I put away my groceries. On a warmer today like today, I opened up the living room window for a while to air out the apartment. I will now eat the Subway ham and cheese sandwich with a bowl of Lays salt and vinegar potato chips and a dill pickle slice and a 12 ounce glass of 7-Up. CIO
<888> 12/03/12 Monday 9:05 A.M.. I moved the 19 inch Eizo LCD monitor from the Abit computer to the FIC server. I moved the 19 inch Acer LCD monitor from the FIC server to the Abit computer. I then took a HDMI to VGA cable, and I ran it from the second PNY video connector on the Abit computer to the VGA port on the Haier LCD TV. Thus when the input on the Haier LCD TV is set to VGA it plays the Abit computer content, since I have the Abit computer video set in clone mode for both monitors. It works just fine. For a slightly faster computer, when I get the VGA connectors for a longer VGA cable, I could hook up the Haier LCD TV to the fourth IBM ThinkCentre at the hallway entrance, but its current video card will only play in Clone mode which might be fine. I will now go downtown and do errands. I will first eat a few day old muffin before going. CIO

<888> 12/03/12 Monday 6:15 A.M.. In my world wide travel on American aircraft, I have been as far south as Tobago, west as Maui, north as Oslo, Norway, and east as Istanbul, Turkey. Unfortunately when one travels on American aircraft, one needs American money, when one gets there. The most remote place I have probably been in the world is probably Lanzarote - All About Lanzarote where http://www.nasa.gov/ use to have a ground monitoring station. It is also very good for star gazing way out there in the middle of the Atlantic ocean without too much electrical lights in the area. Bermuda is not that remote, since it is close to North Carolina. Apparently people stay warm in Bermuda with fire places, so since there are not many forests in Bermuda, they must import fire wood from elsewhere. CIO
<888> 12/03/12 Monday 5:50 A.M.. I threw out the garbage. In the hallway in my apartment, I put on the right side the U.S.A. flag and on the left side the http://www.af.mil/ flag. I figure there is no point in flying the British and the Dutch tricolor flags, since the hurricane season is over, they probably have all headed down to Florida and the Caribbean for the winter. I can quickly change the flags back in case any of them should ever show up, but since there are some many deluxe accommodations for them in this area, they never look me up with all of their money. On the left hallway side, besides the U.S. Air Force flag, I have a British Union Jack, a Swedish flag, a Bermuda flag, a Dutch Tricolor, and a Saudi Arabian flag. On the right hallway side, besides the U.S.A. flag, I the British Union Jack, and the Scottish Cross of St. Andrews. Thus I can fly any permutations and combinations of those flags. I do have http://www.airforce.mil/ connections since a relative was in the Strategic Air Command now called the Air Defense Command. Also when I went to http://www.lfc.edu/ in Lake Forest, Illinois, Jim Warburg here in Greenwich wrote my recommendation to Mr. Douglas who was Franklin Roosevelt's secretary of the Air Force. When I lived in http://www.nantucket.net/ there were Air Force personnel from Otis Air Force base living there, and when I lived in Key West, Florida, there were Air Force personnel from Homestead Air Force base living there. Also in the old days, I traveled extensively on airplanes, so I have probably been around Air Force personnel. Charles Lindbergh who was a fourth star Air Force general also used to live in Darien, Connecticut. Howard Hughes obviously knew some Air Force personnel. However, the Air Force travels so much and in cold weather they prefer to maintain their equipment down south where it is warmer and more convenient to maintain it, so no one really ever knows where they are until they show up sooner or later. <888> 12/02/12 Sunday 3:25 P.M.. I had a busy day yesterday. I do not feel like going out in the tundra of Greenwich, Connecticut to explorer the local Holiday shopping adventures. From what I can tell about downtown Greenwich Avenue from the internet, the only two bargains down at http://www.cvs.com/ are DiGiorgio 12 inch pizzas for $5 and or a 12 pack of Cottonelle toilet paper for $7.99. I then added to taste garlic powder, ground black pepper, Italian spices, celery salt, a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, a tablespoon of Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce, and two tablespoons of soy sauce, and I mixed it all together. During the last three minutes of the rice standing, I put the beef stew in the plastic microwave proof pot in the General Electric microwave oven, and I ran it on one vegetable cycle. I put half of the rice in a large soup bowl, and I refrigerated the other half of the rice in a plastic Rubbermaid container with lid. I added the beef stew mixture to the rice in the soup bowl, and I mixed it all together. I ate it all with a teaspoon with a 12 ounce glass of 7-Up. I will now take a nap. CIO

On older European cars from the 1950s and 1960s, the fuse box is usually underneath the front hood of the car, where it can get corrosion from salt used on the roads in America. If one has problems with various electronics in the car, one should use fine steel sand paper, and removed the corrosion from the fuse box terminals and put in new Bosch fuses. The same tip might apply to older American cars. CIO

I picked up the mail. I got my December 2012 rent statement from the Greenwich Housing Authority. CIO
<888> 12/01/12 Saturday 3:25 P.M.. I went out, and I threw out the garbage. I went by CVS at 644 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a three quart jug of Clorox bleach for $3.59 and .23 tax for $3.82 total. I then went by the Chase Bank ATM at 19 West Putnam Avenue. I then went by the new Greenwich Post Office just east of Greenwich Avenue one block down, and I mailed the Microsoft Money 2007 income versus spending report for November 2012 to an interested relative. I then went further downtown. I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue and the train station area. I used the bathroom at Starbucks midway through my walk. I stopped by CVS, and I bought a 27.8 ounce Folgers Supreme coffee for $7.99. I finished my walk. They have free parking downtown today, and they have set up holiday refreshment stands up and down Greenwich Avenue, but it is still cold out there. I chatted with a regular walker. I then drove over to Oil Star Oil Change Center in Stamford. I took I-95 East from exit 3 to Exit 9 and drove west a half mile on U.S. 1 to get there. I got at 71,633 miles on the Audi, Oil Star Oil and Filter Change Service Package $40.53, 1.25 quarts of Pennzoil 10W-30 oil $4.76, Disposal Fee $1.77, five quarts of Pennzoil 10W-30 oil with service package, Audi oil filter (W93021) $9, two Pro Guard Fuel Injection Cleaner $15.98, Air Freshener vanilla $1.50, tax $4.67 for $78.21 total. They recommend air and cabin air filters be replaced. Then they told me my air filter is all right, and they did not have the cabin filter. I put the new vanilla air freshener on the hook on the rear driver's side. I drove over to the nearby AutoZone | Auto Parts & Accessories | Repair Guides & More , and they did not have the Cabin filter. I bought a Bear Claw 22 inch snow and ice brush for $3.99 and a quart of Pennzoil 5W-30 motor oil for $4.19 and .52 tax for $8.70 total. They told me the new battery I bought there four years ago should last seven years. I then returned back to Greenwich the same way getting off at exit 5. I drove into Old Greenwich, and I went to the Rummage Room Thrift shop, and I toured the store. I then toured CVS and used the bathroom. I chatted with someone from New Zealand, and I gave him my internet card. The bagel shop had a long line, so I went across the street to Dunkin Donuts, and I bought a fat free blue berry muffin for $2.01. I then drove out to Tod's Point. There is a lot of new sand at the entrance of Tod's Point. They have two huge piles of wood chips they have crushed. There is lot of heavy equipment out there processing the hurricane debris. They seem to have a lot of the fallen trees cleared away. There are a lot of new pink concal shells on the west side. The north concession stand was destroyed, and the old north building has damage. They are putting new shingles on the roofs of the beach shelters. They obviously have been working quite hard to get the Tod's Point beach park back into shape, but it looks like they have quite a bit more work to do. Still there were a number of walkers out there. I chatted with a relative on my wireless telephone from the southwest parking area. I walked over from the southeast parking area to view the work zone where they are processing all of the debris. The south concession stand is still not opened, since the have no gas or electricity out there. The boats at the marina storage area looked to be in good shape. They were in the process of removing more debris from the main road in Old Greenwich including the accumulated leaves. I then returned to downtown Greenwich, and I sat out for a while. I bought a Quick Cash scratch card at Zen Stationary for a dollar, but I lost. The Salvation Army was fund raising in front of Starbucks. I then went to the Stop and Shop. I bought a six pack of Stop and Shop English muffins for $1.69, a dozen large Eggland eggs expire January 6, 2013 for $3.89, a 12 ounce package of Purdue cutlets for $3.34, two gallon jugs of Stop and Shop bleach for $1.50 each, a 24 ounce Chef's Crock mashed potatoes for $3, a prepared two piece baked chicken dinner with macaroni and cheese for $1.99 and bananas for .79 a pound for .64 and .19 tax for $17.74 total. I then went back by CVS at 644 West Putnam Avenue, and I returned the Clorox bleach for $3.82 cash refund. I then returned home, and I said hello to a neighbor. I put away my purchases. I chatted with a local walker. CIO
