03/31/20 Tuesday 11:55 P.M. I went downtown, and I mailed the package at the Central Greenwich Post Office, and then I returned home; and I drank an instant coffee outside. I emptied the garage and the recycle paper container. I finished the backups on the most recent HP 17 inch laptop. I will now fiddle with it a bit. CIO

03/31/20 Tuesday 9:55 P.M. I am now making another set of the same two backups on a 1 TB SATA drive in the external SATA drive holder. On the new HP 17 inch laptop, the CD cover is missing, but one can still open and eject it with the Windows 10 program. Also one of its three USB connectors do not work. Other than that it is running just fine. CIO

03/31/20 Tuesday 9:25 P.M. I went outside a few times, and the last time; I drank an instant coffee. On the new 17 inch HP laptop, I took out the 240 GB SATA drive, and I installed it as a second drive in the original HP 17 inch laptop. I took out the mirrored second 120 GB SSD from the original HP 17 laptop, and I put it in the new 17 inch HP laptop, so it is a lot faster. I activated Windows 10 and Office 2019 with new product keys that I had, and I ran some maintenance utilities on it. I did a Windows Complete PC backup of it to the 2 TB SATA drive in the external SATA drive holder, and I am not doing an Aomei backup of it. I will now go outside again.

I set it up on top of the other HP 17 inch laptop at the apartment entrance, and I am now restoring the same system configuration to it as the other HP 17 inch laptop. I also went by the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $11.01 of self service V-Power premium gasoline for $3.199 a gallon for 3.443 gallons at odometer reading of 120389 for 45.1 miles drive since Sunday March 15, 2020 for 13.099 miles per gallon in local traffic. I returned home. I sat outside. I filed this report. I will now go outside, and I will drink an instant coffee. CIO

I called the Greenwich Housing Authority to get someone to open the tenants apartment door and the 911 for the police and ambulance to come, it was just for the third time, the tenants dog pulls the emergency pull cord while the sick tenant was asleep. I threw out the shipping box. I extended them to about my length. One adjusts them by turning the metal rods to loosen them. I did not put the ground pointers on them, but just the rubber tips for sidewalk walking. I put them in front of the bookcase with the Swedish flag concealed by a mirror. I opened the living room window again for a little fresh air. I put the dropper bottles for the 2% iodine on the shelf on the right side of the bathroom sink. One does not need to use a dropper for 2% iodine mixture to purify a five gallon bottle of tap water, it is basically just a teaspoon of 2% iodine mixture in the water bottle. Greenwich in Happier Days https://fairfieldcountylook.com/parties/the-inner-city-foundation-benefit/ and somebody who went to the Taft School in Watertown, Connecticut https://www.taftschool.org/ seems to be connected. However, most of my old Taft classmates felt that I was useless because I did not play sports except J.V. golf and club soccer and club basketball, but just sat quiet in the unused library reading Time and Life magazines and other material while listening to music on the KLH stereo headphones in the afternoon. I did learn a thing or two there, but I did not tell everyone what I learned since somebody from Bedford, New York who was well connected was keeping a close eye on me for better or worse. In my time there we were mostly isolated, since we were not allowed to watch television or listen to radios. How private education seems to have changed. CIO

03/27/20 Friday 1:10 P.M. The Micro Mechanic device does not bluetooth pair with an Apple Iphone, however it works just fine with an Android cell phone with its app, and my car passed its test; so it should be all right. This https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.saritasa.micromechanic&hl=en_US says the OBD Doctor app also works with it which it does on the Android cell phone, but it has a lot of expensive tests that I am not paying for. I put the device on the center shelf of the right bookcase in the hallway.

As a matter of book keeping, I paid $649.89 for the Lysol Spray that I ordered from Ebay. I sent most of it to my relative in Florida for her elderly neighbors if the relatives do not need it there. I did sell eleven 7 ounce cans and one 19 ounce can, and I have three 7 ounce cans and one 19 ounce can left with four 12.5 cans lost in the mail at the moment plus I have one seven ounce can in the car. Plus I paid $51.05 and $26.11 UPS shipping charge to send an equal amount to Florida which would be $727.05 total, so by simple math the cost of the multiple shipments to the elderly population in Florida would have cost me $590 accounting for what I have not received, sold, used and kept for myself. I hate to say it in English, but there is a term, "An Ounce of Prevention is worth a pound of cure". I also was told be a relative not to be a hoarder, but with the internet, I came up with a much needed supply that most people can not get. I then went by www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue. I used the bathroom there. I bought buy one get one 50% off of 250 capsule CVS 1000 mg Flaxseed oil pills for $25.49 and $12.74 and a roll of 3M Duct tape for $10.99 and a MicroMechanic testing device for $19.99 and a 8 ounce www.starbucks.com Mocha for $2.39 and a double roll bundle of Bounty paper towels for $4.99 and $2.44 tax for $79.03 most of which came off of my refund card. I then drank part of the Starbucks Mocha Frappucinno coffee across the street, and then I drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center, and I drank the rest there. I then returned home. I sat outside. I put away my purchases. I put a waste paper back at the bathroom entrance to use for throwing paper towels away after one washes their hands. I filed this report. I then bought a Braun 5000 electronic toothbrush for 75% off for $37.50 and $20 off with bonus bucks from the previous purchase and $10 off with a $10 off $40 coupon from the coupon machine .69 tax for $12.97 total. I then chatted with someone from Italy across the street. Greenwich has always had lots of visitors in the past. I then went by the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue. I bought a five gallon bottle of Primo Vermont Spring water with bottle return for $7.49 and a half gallon of White Wave vanilla flavored soy milk for $3.78, two 12 ounce packages of Sabretts hotdogs for $3.99 each, two 12 ounce Hormel au jus cooked roast beef for $5.99 each, two 24 ounce Simply mashed potatoes for $3.54 each, two 8 packs of Signature hotdog buns for $1.64 each pack for $42.60 total. I then returned home. I sat outside. I brought up the water and other pruchases. I put them away. I put the little cart and green bags back in the car, and I drank an instant coffee outside. The friend and myself, when we were in Athens, Greece in the spring of 1972 on the www.lfc.edu foreign studies program met the head of the World Health Organization from Switzerland. At the same time, our college group had to go to the health office in Athens, Greece and get their small pox vaccination shot, since there was an out break of small pox in the then Yugoslavia. Perhaps in our vaccinations there was something different in Europe versus what most Americans have in their ordinary immunizations. Also in having lived down South a number of times, I might have built up some sort of tropical immunity that the people that have always live up North would not have. I am not a medical expert, but I do have some professional medical people in the family. I will now go outside again.

What products they have left are limited to two items only. I then drove downtown. I chatted with a friend who was out at night. We then drove to the Shell Station at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $10 of self service premium V-Power gasoline for $3.399 a gallon for 2.943 gallons at odometer reading of 120344 miles for 43.4 miles driven since Friday March 6, 2020 for 14.747 miles per gallon in local traffic. I then stopped by the www.chase.com Bank ATM machine at the top of Greenwich Avenue. We then returned down to the center of downtown and chatted for a while. I then drove around downtown. The Diner is no longer opened in the early morning hours on weekends. I then returned home, and I drank an instant coffee outside. I filed this report. CIO

03/14/20 Saturday 4:40 A.M. The fire department came and reset the building emergency pull cord alarm. When I reset the emergency pull cord button in the effective apartment, it turned off the light above the door, so I had to show the fire department which apartment it was.

The way I figure it with www.columbia.edu closing until next fall, and knowing the New York City medical establishment, they must be expecting the Coronavirus to be around for a long time.

I have ordered for a relative 38 seven ounce cans of Lysol spray disinfectant to be sent to the relative. I also have 51 seven ounce cans and 15 nineteen ounce cans and four 12.5 ounce cans of Lysol spray disinfectant being sent to me from Long Island and Michigan. Thus I should be adequately prepared along with my other disinfectant supplies. However, to stay in at home all of the time, I might go a bit stir crazy, if you get my drift, but I was warned two days ago by my Town of Greenwich Social Worker that we might be going to a quarantine situation soon. My emergency supplies so far have cost me $594.99 and the items I sent to an older relative cost $188.48 for a total of $783.47 which pretty much taps me out, since I also have regular expenses that will still mount up. 03/05/20 Thursday 2:20 P.M. I put two new AAA alkaline batteries in the GPS remote control on my 2005 Volvo XC 70. GPS now can be turned off. I keep it in the pouch in the front of the driver's side front seat. It is too complicated for me, but I do have the replacement lens. Perhaps, when ever I visit Kennebunkport, Maine again, Swedish Motors in Kennebunk, Maine might be able to do it. We have a local Volvo dealer in Stamford, but it is a long way away; and it would probably be a long wait for me. For now the Gorilla tape is working just fine. I will now go outside. I picked up a prescription. I bought buy one get one 50% off of Clorox disinfectant bleach 64 ounces for $3.79 and $1,89 and .36 tax for $6.04 total. I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center. I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com . I walked the lower Greenwich Avenue area. I toured the www.apple.com store. At the left side of the front entrance of the Apple store, they have a hand disinfectant device. I sat out at various location. I then used the bathroom at Starbucks again, and I sat outside some more. I then returned home. I sat outside. I put the Clorox disinfectant bleach at the left side of the bathroom entrance. I hung the 7 inch hanging spider plant with a 6 inch hose clamp above the far end of the oak dining table. I went outside, and I drank an instant coffee. I chatted with a relative. I will mix it with remaining bottle of similar lotion for about 9 ounces and my last tube of CVS Athlete's Foot cream for 1.25 ounces and the small one ounce bottle of Tea Tree oil and 1.5 ounces of Mometasone Furoate Cream USP 0.1% and 4 ounce ounces of Gold Bond Foot cream and seven ounces of CVS Adult Rash Oinment and 13 ounces of CVS Petroleum Jelly and 12 ounces of extra Virgin olive oil to thin the mixture to have my own formula of foot lotion. I have a 24 ounce B&G pickle jar of it in the refrigerator and a 13 ounce of it in a CVS petroleum jelly container in the bathroom to have available for use. I labeled the jar in the refrigerator with "Foot Cream 03/12", but the black magic marker will not work on the CVS petroleum jelly container in the bathroom. I took a round cake pan, and I rubbed about two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil around it bottom, and I added 20 ounces of Bob Evans seasoned home fried potatoes which I seasoned with garlic powder, Italian spices, ground black pepper, and Lowry's seasoned salt and I also added a little bit more olive oil and mixed it all together, and I am baking it in the Faberware convection oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. I will eat it with a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounces of pink grapefruit juice. CIO

I will now go outside again. I will also mail the financial report downstairs in the mail room. It is interesting with all of the big shot www.ibm.com people around here, and since I have been working with personal computers for thirty years, the only piece of IBM merchandise that I have in my apartment is two boxes of very nice rag legal envelopes made by IBM that I bought at Odd Job in Port Chester a long time again. I think I might also have a worn out IBM six splitter electrical plug too. I guess they make other things in other parts of the world besides super computers or main frames. CIO

03/02/20 Monday 4:45 A.M. I printed out my Microsoft Sunset Income versus Spending report for February 2020, and I have it ready to mail to an interested relative with a 50 cent Forever stamp. I took the Amazon Fire Stick that I took off the Samsung television setup, and I connected it to the Westinghouse TV that is connected to the living Apple Imac late 2013. One turns it on with the Imac control panel switch that is connected to the Cambridge Sound speakers. It works just fine. One can see about 80% of the Westinghouse screen from the primary work computer chair; so thus could watch some of the Amazon Fire stick content while working on the primary work computer. I will now go outside again. CIO

03/02/20 Monday 3:30 A.M. On the new 50 inch high definition Samsung television, the attached HDMI selector would not work. Since the Samsung television has Amazon, I disconnected the HDMI selector and the Amazon fire stick, the Apple Imac Late 2012, and the Chromecast device. I now just have the Roku device on HDMI 2. The Roku device power turns on with the left control panel. I also moved the Apple Imac late 2012 to the computer setup to the right of the primary work computer with the Polaroid monitor. Since I am not using the Cambridge Sound speakers on it, I also removed its old audio cords. I will now go outside, and I will drink an instant coffee. CIO
