Merry Christmas and Happy New Years,
I have been through another quiet peaceful year living a quiet life. I am not doing as much with computers and the internet anymore. I still go for walks on Greenwich Avenue during nice weather. My family is all doing well. I visited with family in Kennebunkport, Maine for four weeks in September. It was enjoyable to get away and be by the ocean. I have lost 50 pounds in the past year, and I am now down to 217 pounds. I am still trying to lose more weight. My web site pretty much records my regular routines. I do not travel outside the area anymore, and I just stay local. I watch Fox News to see what is happening in the world. Greenwich Avenue is not as busy anymore with all of the people shopping on the internet, but it still enjoyable for exercise walks. I have been watching Netflix and Acorn TV for entertainment. The internet has changed so much since 1989, when I bought my first personal computer; I feel that I need to catch up on other matters that I maybe am behind in. Still I have an enjoyable life in retirement. I have been in my current apartment for 29 years and back in Greenwich for 34 years, so I am fairly well settled in. I do not do as much cooking anymore, but I mostly cook prepared frozen meals. I guess I have seen a younger generation grow up here and reach middle age. Now that winter has set in, I am spending more time inside. Since I first moved to Greenwich in 1962, it does not seem to have changed too much; we are all just getting older. I just maintain my regular routines, and I am frequently on a night time early morning schedule.
