Merry Christmas 2014 and Happy New Year 2015,

This year I have kept busy with my normal routines around my apartment and maintaining my computer setup in the small apartment, which takes quite a bit of time.  I have not been walking downtown on Greenwich Avenue as much in the cold weather.  My 2005 Volvo XC 70 Station Wagon with 110,000 miles is running just fine, but I am driving less than three thousand miles a year with two round trips to Kennebunkport, Maine.  I did visit with family in Kennebunkport for the last two weeks of June and once again for the last two weeks of August and the first two weeks of September.  I had an enjoyable time being with family enjoying a break from the busy New York City area.  My relatives are doing well and keeping busy with their work lives and household routines.  I enjoyed watching the ocean views in Maine.  Back here in Greenwich, to save time I have not been going to the Greenwich Library as much.  I still weigh 226 pounds, so hopefully I might lose some weight one of these days.  With the internet I pay the most attention to technology news, and I do not pay much attention to the general news.  On my normal routine, Greenwich is pretty much a quiet sleepy town anymore, since I am not involved with the local business community.  We still get lots of visitors out here, but from my perspective, there is mostly family activity of the local residents.  I feel a lot of people want to remain private in the town, so I try to respect their privacy as I go about my normal routines.  We still seem to have a large international community of people whom are not as quite familiar with the simpler ways of American life.  I do not visit the waterfront much anymore, but I am sure it is still the same.  I guess the younger generation is using the computer and internet technology for their busier daily routines.  Once winter sets in, I suppose I will be spending even more time at home.  My web sites say pretty much what I have been doing.  Other than watching television at breakfast, I do not watch much television.  I do watch Netflix and Acorn TV off the internet, when I am making my cigarettes.  Still for health reasons I hope to cut back or quit smoking cigarettes sometime in the near future.  When one does not travel much, one leads a simpler and more peaceful life.  My relatives are spread out all over the country, so I suppose I am seeing some of their neighbors come through my way.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

Michael Scott
