07/31/21 Saturday 8:35 P.M. I ate ten Nabisco saltines with 1 inch by 1 inch by 1/6th inch slices of Kerrygold Irish Blarney cheese. I will now go outside and drink a brewed coffee. CIO
07/31/21 Saturday 8:15 P.M. I am about to eat a 8.5 ounce Rao's chicken parmesan with grated parmesan and Romano cheese with a 12 ounce glass of www.coke.com Zero Sugar. CIO
07/31/21 Saturday 8:00 P.M. I went downtown to the Jaycee park on Greenwich Avenue, and I sat out for a while. I toured www.cvs.com across the street. I then sat out in the park some more. I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center, and I sat out for a while. I then walked lower Greenwich Avenue. I toured the www.apple.com store. St. Moritz bakery was out of croissants. I sat out some more at the Senior and the Art center. I then drove down by the waterfront on Steamboat Road. I then went to Whole Foods at 90 East Putnam Avenue. I used the bathroom there. I bought four frozen 8.5 ounce Rao's chicken parmesan for $3.99 each for $15.96 total. I then returned home. I sat outside. I picked up the mail. I put away my purchases. I then went outside, and I drank a cold brewed coffee. I then chatted with a friend. I then went outside again. CIO

I will eat a Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg, and cheese croissant with two toasted English muffins with Smart Balance spread, and pineapple chunks and mandarin orange , and a glass of Primo Vermont spring water with some pineapple juice and cranberry juice and a cup of coffee with artificial sweetener and almond milk. I then had a picnic in the Jaycee Park across the street. I then used the bathroom at the CFCF coffee shop. I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center where I sat out for a while. I used the bathroom at Starbucks. I then went to the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue. I bought a 48 ounce Almond Breeze vanilla almond milk for $4.99, two 8 ounce John Soules chicken strips for $2.99 each, a 59 ounce Tropicana ruby red grapefruit juice for $4.49, buy one get one free of Thomas' six packs of English muffins for $4.49 both, and a 3 pound bag of clemintines for $3.99 for $23.94 total. I then returned home. I sat outside. I put away my groceries. I filed this report. I will now go outside and drink a brewed coffee. CIO

For the month of August 2021, I paid my Verizon telephone and my Eversource electricity bills and Optimum Online bill which is now $184 for three services. I also paid my rent to the Greenwich Housing Authority. I will eat a Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg, and cheese croissant with two toasted English muffins with Smart Balance spread, and pineapple chunks and mandarin orange , and a glass of Primo Vermont spring water with some pineapple juice and cranberry juice and a cup of coffee with artificial sweetener and almond milk. I then flaked it with a fork in a bowl, and I seasoned it with Old Bay seasoning, Lowry's seasoned salt, Italian seasoning, and ground black pepper, and I added two large tablespoons of www.kraft.com avocado mayonnaise, and I mixed it all together. I then put it on two slices of toasted Pepperidge Farm home style oat bread, and I cut it in half. I ate it with Pringles potato chips and a 12 ounce glass of www.coke.com Zero Sugar. I chatted with a relative who told me it was a con. I also told the Greenwich Police. I went to my 1 P.M. appointment at the Urologist, and I was told I could try discontinuing the Flomax prescription. I then went to www.mcdonalds.com on West Putnam Avenue. I got two McDoubles with French Fries for $6.44 total. Big Macs or Quarter Pounders are now $10.78 without anything else. I then ate my lunch in the Jaycee Park on Greenwich Avenue. I then toured www.cvs.com . I then used the bathroom at the CFCF coffee. I bought a medium hazelnut coffee with almond milk and Splenda sweetener for $4.88 and 12 cents tip for $5 total. I then drank it in the park, and I chatted briefly with a local. I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center. I sat out for a while. I walked lower Greenwich Avenue and the train station area. I toured the www.apple.com store. At the Greenwich Cigar store, I bought and Ace's High scratch card for a dollar, and I lost as usual. It consisted of baked turkey with gravy, pecan stuffing, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, and a 10 ounce www.starbucks.com Frapuccinno for $11.22 total. I then went downtown, and I toured www.cvs.com and I sat out in the Jaycee Park. I then got a $10 roll of quarters at the www.chase.com bank at the top of Greenwich Avenue. I checked out my State of Connecticut EBT card at the CitiBank ATM machine. I sat out across from the train station for a while. I stopped by St. Moritz bakery, and I bought a croissant for $2.50. I stopped by www.starbucks.com , and I bought a medium coffee with Splenda sweetener and almond milk for $2.84 off my Starbucks card. I drank the coffee and ate the croissant in front of the Senior and the Arts Center. I then used the bathroom at Starbucks. I sat out some more. I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a 8 pack of Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $11.99. I then returned home. I sat outside. There was an African man from Guinea with a brace on his leg that caught the early train, and as I was sitting in front of the train station a big young man in a suit got out of a white pickup truck to catch the train. That is not the normal level of early morning activity at the Greenwich Train Station, so I guess people are away on vacation or working at home. Also the coffee shop was not opened at the train station either. CIO

I bought a cup of medium coffee with Splenda sweetener and almond milk at www.starbucks.com for $2.84 off my Starbucks card , and I drank it in front of the Senior and the Arts Center. I used the bathroom at Starbucks twice. I chatted with a friend. I sat in front of Zen Stationary for a while. They are building another new coffee shop on Greenwich Avenue on the South Side of the Tesla showroom. It will be called "Gregory". After a long time, I went to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue. I picked up a prescription. I sat outside at the Jaycee Park across the street. I used the bathroom at the CFCF coffee shop just south of the Jaycee Park. I then went back into CVS, and I toured the store. I bought two 12 ounce cans of https://www.nestle.ch/de Carnation milk for $2.19 each for $4.38 total. I then returned home. I sat outside. I took a plastic microwave pot with lid, and I added a 14.5 ounce can of Campbell's Onion soup, and a half can of Primo Vermont spring water, and I seasoned it with garlic powder, ground black pepper, Lowry's seasoned salt, and Italian spices, and I mixed it together, and I microwaved it with lid for 4 minutes. I put it in large Cobalt Blue soup bowl, and I added a lot of Texas Toast croutons and grated parmesan and Romano cheese, and I ate it all with a 12 ounce glass of www.coke.com Zero Sugar. I will now go outside again. CIO

I cancelled Wolfgang's Onion Soup, and I ordered https://www.amazon.com/Campbells-Condensed-French-Onion-Soup/dp/B006JW4STW/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Campbells+Onion+Soup&qid=1626680238&sr=8-2 for $12 off my State of Connecticut EBT Food Stamps Card. Back in my younger days out on www.nantucket.com working at many places but primarily at https://languedocbistro.com/ as a pot scrubber, dish washer, and food prepper, one of their offerings was French Onion Soup. I recalled using an industrial Cuisine Art to cut hundreds of pounds of onions and garlic for their onion soup which was a favorite amongst the local gentry. However, the staff had limited meal offerings, and I am not sure other than a time or two eating their onion soup. Possibly they put in some sort of liquor or other alcoholic beverage in their recipe. I do not know. They might have also used stock from their stock pot. I worked my way up from when I started there around the summer of 1978 through intermittent times until I retired in December 1983. In the summer of 1977 and 1978, I was also a dish washer at the Gordon Folger hotel restaurant. Since the Grennons had another restaurant called "Sister Kate's" in Stowe, Vermont, a number of their waiters were from the Stowe, Vermont ski patrol, where it is minus 40 degrees below zero Fahrenheit on top of the mountain in the winter near Smuggler's Notch that the Watson family of www.ibm.com fame started. One of the staff around the Languedoc used to be Jackie Onassis' body guard in Stowe, Vermont. The last thing he had me do out on Nantucket in the fall of 1983 was paint the trim on Admiral Halsey's house on the Polpis Road. His name was Ian Greenshield. I did later see him walking the beach in Kennebunk one summer. Since he was French Canadian he had contacts up in Canada. CIO

I then drove down to the Board of Education parking lot, and I sat out at the veterans monument for a while. I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a 12 pack of Jimmy Dean frozen sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $11.99, buy one get one free of Thomas' English muffins for $4.49 both, two 10 ounce boxes of Cheez-its party mix for $2.50 each and ten 5 ounce Dannon yogurts for .60 each, and a 48 ounce Blue Diamond vanilla unsweetened almond milk for $4.69 for $32.17 total. I then returned home. I put my purchases away. I then put the green bag and folding cart back in the car, and I drank a cold brew coffee. I put the sun flower plant between the two miniature palm trees on the oak dining table. I will now throw out the garbage. CIO

From the window side of the Ethan Allen recliner, I removed the two internet radios and their sound bars, and I put them with their accessories underneath the bedroom desk. I moved the Insignia 14000 BTU air conditioner from the oak dining table to the window side of the Ethan Allen recliner connected to the outside window with a two foot duct. I moved the Hey Google and Alexa devices to the oak dining table. Hopefully with the shorter duct on the air conditioner, it will be more efficient. I will now go outside and drink a cold brewed coffee. CIO

I bought a sunflower plant for $5.31 total. I then drove around downtown. I sat out for a long time chatting with a friend. I recommended for hot weather cold pasta salad or gazpacho to eat. I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue. I bought a 5 pound bag of mandarin oranges for $3.99, two 8 ounce reduced fat Cheez-its for $2.50 each, two 12 ounce Sabretts angus hotdogs for $3.99 each and a package of eight Stop and Shop hotdog buns for $1.50 for $18.47 total. They also were major contributors to Richard Millhouse Nixon's political campaigns. The Cole Auditorium is also named after the Cole family that were once President of Reader's Digest. I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center. I sat out for a while. I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com . I then drove down by the waterfront on Steamboat Road where https://www.bessemertrust.com/ is at 600 Steamboat Road, if one has $5 million to open an account there. I then went to Whole Foods on East Putnam Avenue, and they gave me a replacement roast beef sandwich for the roast beef wrap that did not have any roast beef on it. I then went to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, I bought a 10 ounce Starbucks frapuccino with discount coupons for $2.51. I then ate the roast beef and sandwich and drank the frappucinno in the Jaycee Park across the street. I then drove back to the Senior and the Arts Center. I sat out for a while. I then used the bathroom at Starbucks again. I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a box of 8 Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $11.99, four 15 ounce Maria Callender chicken pot pies for $2.50 each, and a 24 ounce Simply Mashed mashed potatoes for $2.50 for $24.49 total. I then went to the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $21.04 of self service premium gasoline for $4.099 a gallon for 5.1269 gallons at odometer reading of 121628 miles for 69.2 miles driven since Wednesday June 30, 2021 for 13.498 miles per gallon in local traffic. I then returned home. I sat outside. I picked up the mail. I put away my groceries. I filed this report. I walked lower Greenwich Avenue, and I toured the www.apple.com store which is back to normal. I then bought a walnut pastry at St. Moritz bakery for $2. I ate it front of the Senior and the Arts Center. I dropped a third of it on the ground and threw it away. I bought a fresh croissant at St. Moritz bakery for $2 and a medium size www.starbucks.com coffee with almond milk and Splenda sweetener for $2.48 off my Starbucks card. I also put $10 more on my Starbucks card. I ate my light breakfast in front of the Senior and the Arts Center. I sat out for a while. I then used the bathroom at Starbucks. I then drove over to Home Depot in Stamford. They are sold out of air conditioners except the small $200 www.ge.com air conditioners. I bought a four foot black Rubbermaid shelf for $11.13 with tax. I used the bathroom there. I then went to downtown Old Greenwich, but the Rummage Room thrift shop is closed on Saturdays. I then went out to Tod's Point. I have to renew my Senior Beach pass online. I used the bathroom out there, and I then sat out at the empty beach for a while. I then returned to downtown Greenwich, and I went to Whole Food on East Putnam Avenue. I then bought a 16 ounce Blue Diamond Smoke House almonds for $6.99 less $6.32 bonus bucks from the previous purchase for .67 total. I then sat out across the street in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park for an hour, until I was able to pick up a prescription. I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center. I used the bathroom there. I sat out for a while. I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought three 16 ounce Stauffer's extra 2X meat lasagnas for $10 all, buy one get one free of 10 ounce Extra Crispy Cheez-its for $3.79 both, and a 48 ounce Silk vanilla unsweetened almond milk for $4.69 for $18.48 total. I then returned home. I sat outside. I put away my purchases. I then put the green bags back in the car, and I drank a cold brew coffee. I then filed this report. CIO
