07/30/20 Thursday 5:20 A.M. The Dell Laser printer is also setup on the right of the Intel I 5 backup computer on the living room desk to the right of the primary work computer. I moved the small evergreen from in front of it to the right side of the oak dining table. I will throw out the last plant that I bought at Whole Foods, since it only has one shoot left on it. CIO

07/30/20 Thursday 4:35 A.M. On the backup Intel I 5 computer to the right of the primary work computer, when I installed the Windows updates, it started freezing. I tried to restore the Windows backup, but the backup was made with an EFI bios, and it would not restore. I was able to restore the Aomei backup image, so it is now running just fine. I put the new web cam on it and a new gaming headset. I also move the Logitech wireless mouse and wireless keyboard from the Apple late 2012 mac mini at the same location to the Intel I 5 backup computer. It runs off the Polaroid TV montor off the VGA connector. Thus it is good to go without any problems. I went outside, and I drank an instant coffee. I will now go outside again. CIO

07/29/20 Wednesday 11:10 A.M. Before going to bed, I ate a 5.4 ounce Dannon mixed berry yogurt. I woke up twice, and I ate a bowls of Cheez-its. A neighbor also called at 3 A.M.. I finally woke up at 9:30 A.M.. I unpacked it, and I threw out the large shipping box. I hooked it up in front of the right television in the bedroom on top of the Monster sound bar. It is connected to the Grace Digital Internet Radio Media Center. It would not work with the optical connector. However, I connected it up with a RCA cable, and on the remote control instead of line in, it works with Aux. Thus it is all working fine. I made my bed. I went outside again.

I will eat two Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese croissants and two toasted Thomas English muffins with Smart Balance spread and raspberry jam and a 12 ounce glass of 50% grape juice and 50% Poland Spring water and vitamins and supplements and a 12 ounce cup of brewed coffee with a package of artificial sweetener and almond milk and a bowl of pineapple chunks with a Mandarin orange.

I then went across the street to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue. 07/27/20 Monday 3:40 A.M. I went out after the last note. I went by the www.chase.com bank ATM machine at the top of Greenwich Avenue. I then drove around briefly around the downtown area. I then went by the Putnam www.shell.com at 401 West Putnam Avenue. I bought $18 of self service premium V-Power gasoline for $3.199 a gallon for 5.626 gallons at odometer reading of 120656 miles for 87.2 miles drive since Thursday June 18, 2020; since I put the Chevron Techron in the tank for 15.500 miles per gallon in local traffic. I then tried to go by www.cvs.com on West Putnam Avenue, but they were closed. Their hours on their web site say they are supposed to be opened though. I then returned home. When I was getting out of the car, the inside door handle broke again after three or four years, since I last had it repaired at Swedish Motors in Kennebunk, Maine. Still, I can put down the electric window and open it from the outside. However, I should try to have it repaired again before winter, since some times the windows freeze up in the snow and ice. 07/26/20 Sunday 1:05 A.M. I watched series 8 episode 2 off Amazon Brit Box of "As Time Goes By". It is sort of an interesting series which show what the modern British are really like. I guess they eat corn flakes over there too. When I visited Oslo, Norway in February 1982, the Norwegians thought corn flakes were gourmet breakfast which I guess they are, when they have to be imported that far away. Back at www.lfc.edu , when I used to sleep late in the morning, I would go to Mitchell's restaurant in downtown Lake Forest, Illinois for a late breakfast and have a gourmet breakfast of three eggs over easy, bacon, home fries, pan cakes with syrup and butter, orange juice, and coffee with cream and sugar for about $2.50 and .50 tip. Alas today, that breakfast would cost over $10 today plus tip. Of course, they have a bit more extra food out in the Midwest, so prices there might still be a little bit less expensive. For unexplained technical reasons, I connected the Ocean Digital Internet Radio Media Center to the optical connection on the Monster Sound bar. I connected the Grace Digital Internet Radio Media Center to the LG sound bar on top of the Monster sound bar. I had to put both sound bars upside down, so their optical cables could reach. The technical problem is that two of my longer optical cables quit working, so I had to use two good shorter ones. However, they work just fine in front of the right television. I also connected the right television in the bedroom to the RCA connections on the Monster sound bar. I also have the Ocean Digital Internet Radio Media Center RCA outputs connected to the Senheisser wireless headset. I will now go outside again. CIO

I setup the CuisineArt coffee brewer on the kitchen counter, and I put two www.lipton.com gallon tea bags in it and two regular herbal tea bags, and then I ran a gallon of Primo Vermont spring water through it to brew tea. I took a gallon Rubbermaid container, and I added 8 packets of Splenda artificial sweetener, 3 ounces of orange juice, 2 ounces of lemon juice, one ounce of lime juice and two teaspoons of Angostora bitters, and I gradually added the brewed tea to it, until I had a gallon of flavored tea. I then put the gallon container of tea in the refrigerator to chill into iced tea. I will now go outside again. CIO

07/19/20 Sunday 10:45 A.M. I moved the Ocean Digital Internet Radio Media Center from the primary work computer setup to the bedroom setup. Its RCA connectors are connected to the Monster sound bar beneath the right television and the Senheisser wireless headphones to the left of the left Vizio television. One turns on the power to the Monster sound bar with the remote control and the switch on the power strip that the Ocean Digital device is connected to. It also has the old wired headset connected to it with a long extension cable. I have the Monster sound bar remote control and the Ocean Digital remote control on the folding oak table. The Vizio television, Vizio sound bar and the Optimum remote controls are on top of the Ocean Digital device. I will now go outside again. CIO

I folded up the oak dining table in front of the left living room closet door, and placed it along side the Queen Anne chair by the living room windows. I move the stored food devices elsewhere, and I put a case of www.perrier.com in the refrigerator. I have lived at the 71 Vinci Drive public housing for 31 years.

However, in my college years, I took a course in archeology in Greece and Turkey in 1972.

On the Vinci Drive property behind the building east of the ice skating parking lot, there is

A big pointed boulder in the middle of the field.

Also in the front parking lot just inside the woods between the large building and the

Family buildings, there is another similar pointed boulder.

Both are about four to five feet high and pointed.

I once read that the Connecticut New York border was once at a different location

From the Byram river, and I thought possibly the

Labor someone went through to place those boulders probably with Oxen,

Possibly the line between them marked the old

Connecticut New York border line.

It is just a theory, but I obviously visited some very old ruins

When in Greece and Turkey.

I am not an original Greenwich family.

My Scott family arrived in New Jersey in 1724 and went west.

My mother’s Boven family arrived from Holland in 1842 and settled in

Holland, Michigan.

However, my paternal Grandmother’s family from England with the name “Gard”

Were the original settlers of the “George’s Plantation” in York, Maine, before they moved west.

However, in one of the oldest books in the Greenwich Library,

There was a small book listing the New York City’s two thousand residents in 1700, and

There were two Scott family members with two different farms in Manhattan,

But they only had daughters, and one of those daughters apparently married into the Jay family,

So that Scott family property became the Jay family property.

Also the last time I visited Princeton about 20 years ago, I saw historical markers for a Scott Farm.

I did come up with the fact that a Lord Fairfax that had the land grant for Virginia also had the last name Scott.

Thus possibly my branch of the Scott family got mixed up with other branches of the Scott family.

I did meet Doug Snead here in Greenwich. He taught at Eastern Middle school, and he actually owned

The original Scott family plantation in Virginia.

According to DNA tests, my Scott family relative that arrived in New Jersey in 1724 was looking for his

Brother whom might have been Winfield Scott’s father. My relative went to West Pennsylvania,

And fought in the American Revolution, and then got 200 acres for that in North Carolina.

From there they became the wealthy William Scott family in Kentucky, and from there,

My grandfather Scott’s family in Illinois are from. We once had a family reunion with

5,000 relatives; so it is not a small family group.

Remember, the boulders I mentioned.

I guess with Pan American Airlines out of business, they do not get around down there anymore. I have not been there since around February 1982, when they had three destroyers moored off the Casa Marina Hotel, when it was minus 26 degrees Fahrenheit in Manhattan after Mount St. Helen's erupted. I was once told that Jimmy Buffet was not from Key West, but North Dakota. He just got down there before anyone else. I knew quite a few Canadians down there, but Canada is such a big country, it is sort of hard finding them up north. CIO

I then added two large tablespoons of Hellmann's mayonnaise, and I mixed it all together. I then made two tuna fish sandwiches on Pepperidge Farm 15 grain bread, and I cut them in half. I ate the tuna sandwiches with a bowl of Pringle potato chips and a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounce of orange juice. I chatted with a friend. I will now shut down the primary work computer. Their bathrooms are still closed off. I walked the lower Greenwich Avenue area. I stopped by Zyn Stationary, and I bought an Ace's High scratch card for a dollar, and I lost. The www.apple.com looks like it might be now opened. There were about 50 people dining Al Fresco on lower Greenwich Avenue. Euro Chase has closed on lower Greenwich Avenue as have a number of other stores. I then sat out for a while in front of the Senior and the Arts Center. Both have their own sound bars and headsets and both can play into the apartment stereo system. Both are on always on LAN cables. Both Internet media centers are plugged into the power strip with switches on top of the sound bars and the sound bars also are plugged into the same power strip, so one turn on and off the sound bar power. To make my instant coffee, I put a packet of Splenda sweetener, and a teaspoon of either Maxwell House of Folgers's or Nescafe instant coffee and a teaspoon of the Maxwell House flavored Cafe hazelnut or French vanilla instant coffee in my www.starbucks.com insulated cup from the Greenwich Hospital Thrift shop many moons ago, and I add 10 ounces of very hot bottled spring water either Poland Spring or Primo Vermont spring water from the www.nestle.com water dispenser, and I mix it together, and I add a couple ounces unsweetened vanilla almond milk, usually Blue Diamond or other varieties. I moved the Lasko tower fan from just inside the bedroom to the hallway just outside the bathroom door to put more cool air blown from the bedroom into the living room area. I moved the CVS telescope from behind the bedroom Vizio television in the bedroom to behind the bathroom door. I moved the new telescope to the back side of the oak dining table. I moved the half oval table from in front of the left living room closet to in front of the left Vizio television in the bedroom with the remote controls on it for that media center. I put a folding oak TV table in front of the left living room closet with the big "Hey Google" display device on it and some spare provisions underneath it. I moved the case of Amazon dehydrated soup from India to along side the right side of the www.harvard.edu chair behind the primary work computer chair. I will now go outside again. This way the bedroom entrance is a little bit more open. The TCL sound bar for the bedroom Ocean Digital Internet Radio media center turns on with the center switch on the power strip near the cable box in the bedroom. CIO

07/09/20 Thursday 3:40 A.M. More Mickey Magic. I took down the two Vivitar tower speakers which are not needed because the internet radio media centers all have sound bars. I put them back at the hallway entrance for available Bluetooth. I then used the cables and splicers and splitters from that with the two RCA cables to hook up the Ocean Digital internet radio media center on the primary work computer setup to the apartment stereo system, so both that and the Grace Digital Internet Radio media center are both connected to the apartment stereo system. I also adjusted the apartment stereo system, so it plays better. To play the internet radio media centers, the Technics amplifier has to be on "CD" and "Tape Monitor", and of course the speakers need to be turned on. Full internet fidelity is now available. It shows how we have graduated from the old days of my youth in Manhattan hanging out next door to the only 24 hour TV repair service, when I did not even own a television. I will now go outside again. CIO

Back in the old days of poverty in Manhattan while living on West 74th street behind the Eagle Hill boys prep school, between December 1980 and February 1982 next door the Mayflower Madam which I did not know, I took my room mate who was Cyrus Vance's head of word processing after he was Secretary of State, and we went to the Hyatt Hotel piano bar just west of the www.un.org which was covered with mirrors, so one could see everyone out of the reflections. In that period I also to my roommate to TexArkansas for dinner in Greenwich Village, and I saw Senator John Tower glaring at me. I think in that period, I also once had dinner at Cafe Des Artists around West 69th Street with my roommate's son. I was even walking near the Dakota apartment building the December evening in 1980, when John Lennon was shot, so it made me a bit nervous about walking around Manhattan. My roommate happened to look a bit like Lauren Bacal that actually lived in the Dakota where my roommate's daughter worked in the liquor store there. Apparently in that period, Steve Jobs gave Julian Lennon one of the first Lisa computers made by Apple. I even once saw a former neighbor in Greenwich, Lowell Weicker walking on West 72nd Street. In that period I also observed at Lincoln Center, when Prince Charles showed up for a concert. I also walked my roommate's white German Shepard and Doberman Pincher, so I had informal security. I spend a lot of my time walking across Central Park and touring around the Metropolitan Museum of Art which used to let me in for free. After Mount St. Helen's erupted on May 8, 1980, it got very cold in that neighborhood, and by February 1982, when my roommate's son moved back in, I had to move out when it was minus 26 degrees Fahrenheit. I even splurged and bought a $5 street parka with www.columbia.edu colors on it. At the time, the Saudi Arabian flag was always flying along side the U.S.A. flag at the Waldorf Astoria, so I figured they were making a lot of money off the very cold weather from Mount St. Helen's eruption. I spent a bit of time visiting two pubs where www.columbia.edu and www.nyu.edu students frequented. Still Manhattan is a lot of walking, and when the snow falls, the handicap sidewalk entrances at intersections fill up with about a foot of slush, so people end up with a lot of cold damp feet. I then flaked it with a fork in a large bowl. I then seasoned it with Old Bay seasoning, ground black pepper, Lowry's seasoned salt, and Italian spices, and I mixed it all together. I then added two large tablespoons of Hellmann's mayonnaise, and I mixed it all together. I then made two tuna fish sandwiches on Pepperidge Farm 15 grain bread, and I cut them in half.
