06/30/25 Monday 11:25 A.M. I went downtown to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue. I bought two 12 packs of Fresca and one 12 pack of www.coke.com Zero Sugar for $14.86 with discount coupons. I then sat out in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park across the street waiting for two prescriptions to be filled. I then picked them up. I then went to Board of Education Parking Lot Veterans bench, and I sat out for a while. I then went to the Greenwich Library, and I read U.S.A. Today and the Greenwich Time. I used the bathroom there. I then returned home. I used my folding hand truck to bring up the soda, and I put it away. I then put the hand truck back in the car, and I drank an instant coffee. I still have the blue canvas back pack that I sewed up on the beach in Nantucket in the summer of 1977. It no longer has the leather bottom though. Hood Sails was out there for the canvas and the thread came from the same shop supplied by the Heminway thread company on Steamboat Road in Greenwich. I think my neighbor Jimmy Eldert and his friends were holding me prisoner that summer. He worked at India House where I also lived nearby at 31 India Street at Mrs. Francis' board house for $5 a night for a shared room with three other guys.

I rested until 7:45 A.M.

I then drove down to the Board of Education Parking lot Veterans monument bench, and I ate my biscuits there. I sat out for a long time. I then walked down to Zen Stationary, and I bought a scratch card for a dollar, and I lost as usual to the Bank of Bombay. I then sat out for a long time at the Senior and the Arts Center. I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue. I bought two six packs of Stop and Shop English muffins for $1.50 a six pack, two 15 ounce Hungry Man chicken dinners for $3.50 each, and a 16 pack of White Castle cheeseburger sliders for $17.89 for $27.89 total. I then returned home. I put away the food. I put the grey bag back in the car. I drank an instant coffee outside. I rested a bit. I filed this report.

06/28/25 Saturday 2:05 P.M. I ate four White Castle cheeseburger sliders with a glass of watered down cranberry and raspberry juice. Ocean Spray comes from Cape Cod the last I knew. They used to have cranberry bogs out on Nantucket from what I read in the Inky Mirror, but I never actually saw one. It costs money to read the Inky Mirror https://www.ack.net/ the last I looked. However, at the Nantucket Athenaeum Library, they used to have the Boston Globe, the New York Times, and https://www.csmonitor.com/ which also costs money, since Bill Gates can afford it, if he has the time.
06/28/25 Saturday 1:35 P.M. My father's first father in law was Owen Coon whom paid to start https://www.law.northwestern.edu/ . My mother was my father's second wife, and her father died young before they were married. He ran a men's clothing store and a fabric store, so he could afford to buy ice cream for the less fortunate children in town. Believe it or not Greenwich Avenue use to have four ice cream stores. Towards Cos Cob, I think there is a 31 Flavors and Gopher Ice Cream. The Rockefellers use to try to make a little extra money by raising Swiss Dairy Cattle on their property nearby in North Tarrytown, New York. However, everything is uphill and downhill in Switzerland, and they also have Mountain Lions. All men in Switzerland are required to join the military and they are also required to own a rifle, so the Swiss are not that neutral. I think I still have a Swiss Army knife kicking around. Switzerland also has a consulate in Chicago in America. There is a hotel in Manhattan near the Waldorf Astoria that use to fly the Swiss flag also. When I met Scott Nelson from Irvington, New York when I came off Nantucket in December 1983, he was staying at that Swiss Hotel. I also think Conrad Hilton or Baron Hilton is also Swiss. Thus the Casa Marina might be a Swiss Hotel since it is owned by the Waldorf Astoria operation. Nobody wants to visit New York City anymore, because it is too cold in the winter, but we do get a few curious Canadian youth sometimes.
06/28/25 Saturday 1:20 P.M. I channel surfed. On one of my few trips to Washington D.C. in my life time, I happened to noticed there was a McDonalds restaurant behind the new FBI building. However, there were a lot of pornography shops also in the neighborhood behind the new FBI building.

One of the earlier Jay family members was from the Scott family in Manhattan that by 1700 had two farms in Manhattan. Alas that Scott family only had daughters, so one of those daughters married into the Jay family, and thus the Scott family property in Manhattan became Jay family property.

I then returned home, and I put away the groceries. I will now drink an instant coffee inside.

06/22/25 Sunday 12:35 A.M. I went through http://scott-mike.com/bf.htm . On my first trip to Europe in the Winter of 1972, I only weighed about 125 to 135 pounds, so I did not spend that much money on food in my travels. In Athens, Greece we got cucumber sandwiches for lunch.
I will now go outside and drink an instant coffee.

06/21/25 Saturday 10:35 P.M. I threw out the shipping boxes. I drank an instant coffee outside. I went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a 12 pack of Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $17.49, a six pack of Stop and Shop English muffins for $1.50, two four pack of Chaboni sugar free yogurt for $6.49 each four pack, six 20 ounce cans of Stop and Shop Pineapple chunks for $2.29 each can and a four 15 ounce Stop and Shop fruit cocktail for $2.09 each can for $54.07 total. I then returned home. I put away the food. I filed this report. I will now go outside and put the gray bag back in the car, and I will drink an instant coffee outside. CIO

06/20/25 Friday 8:45 P.M. I went downtown to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue. I bought a five gallon bottle of Poland Spring water with bottle return for $9.99. I then returned home. I used my little folding hand truck to bring up the 42 pound bottle of water. I then put the folding hand truck back in the car, and I drank an instant coffee outside for a long time. I picked up the mail. Aetna sent me a $25 CVS gift card.

06/20/25 Friday 1:35 A.M. I am up to page 80. I can not exactly recall, where I was on May 18, 1980, when Mount St. Helens erupted. Possibly I was staying at a friend's father's house on Bar Beach Road out at Port Washington, Long Island. I do recall visiting Kennebunkport that summer and later in the summer visiting California and Maui. I will now shut down the HP laptop. I will eat a yogurt. I will then go to bed.

I bought a 16 pack of White Castle cheeseburger sliders for $15.99, a six pack of Stop and Shop English muffins for $1.50, two 48 ounce Ocean Spray cranberry raspberry juice for $3.10 each, and a 48 ounce Almond Breeze vanilla unsweetened almond milk for $4.49 for $28.18 total. I then went to the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $26.13 of self service premium for $4.399 a gallon for 5.94 gallons at odometer reading of 127124 miles for 76.3 miles driven since Monday June 2, 2025 for 12.846 miles per gallon in local traffic. I then returned home. I put the food away. I filed this report. I will now go outside and put the grey bag back in the car, and I will drink an instant coffee outside.

Back in the summer of 1971, I learned to program an IBM 360 in COBOL at Polaroid. When I finally finished writing the spread sheet in COBOL, I hitch hicked down to Martha's Vineyard and camped out on Chapaquidic for the weekend. I think I then walked the south shore of Martha's Vineyard, and then back home to Weston, Mass. to returned to work.

Thus we hitch hiked out of the Florida Keys and west on Alligator Alley to Naples, Florida, when I got a one night job washing dishes at the Howard Johnson's restaurant there, and then back the same way to Key West. I eventually got my six months unemployment checks, so we could escape back up North to Nantucket.

While at Lake Forest College, I took Professor Hantke's course on American History where he lectured us on Theodore Roosevelt, but I failed that course. I did help Helen Kress Williams move from her 40 acre estate in Oyster Bay near Sagamore Hill. She like collecting men's mustache cups, so maybe she had one from Theodore Roosevelt. She was a friend of Alice Blue Gown, the Roosevelt daughter.

I have a lot of slip on Cole Hann shoes, but they do not work out for exercise walking. I have a high arch in my feet.
06/04/25 Wednesday 8:25 A.M. I went out, and I went by www.mcdonalds.com on West Putnam Avenue, and I bought two bacon and scrambled egg biscuits with a medium coffee $8.58 total. I then ate the breakfast at the Board of Education Veterans Monument bench downtown. I sat out for a while. I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com . I then went to Zen Stationary, and I bought a dollar scratch card for a dollar, and I lost as usual to the Bank of Bombay. I then sat out in front of the Senior and the Arts Center. The new grass has grown up there. I chatted with a friend on my cell phone. I then went to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I used the bathroom there. They are pouring the cement on the new curb by the CFCF coffee shop. I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue. I bought a six pack of Stop and Shop English muffins for $1.99, a 16 pack of White Castle cheeseburger sliders for $17.89, and a 64 ounce Almond Breeze vanilla unsweetened almond milk for $6.29 for $26.17 total. I then returned home. I picked up the mail. I put away the food. I put the grey bag in the car. I drank an instant coffee outside. I filed this report. I wore my New Balance sneakers downtown, and they are more comfortable to walk in, but they are difficult for a fat person like myself to tie.

I ate my usual breakfast of pineapple chunks, fruit cocktail, Jimmy Dean sausage egg and cheese croissant, two English muffins with Smart Balance spread, diet cranberry juice and vitamins and supplements, and an instant coffee inside. I rested until 11:45 P.M.

06/03/25 Tuesday 5:35 A.M. Says https://www.perkinelmer.com/ made the cameras and film for the CIA black bird spy jet, but they are headquarted in Waltham, Mass. where Polaroid also had operations. About ten years ago, there was a CIA redacted document on the internet about Dr. Land and Polaroid saying they were involved with the CIA black bird cameras and film. On going downtown in the morning, www.starbucks.com coffee is too strong like it has LSD or some other stimulant in it.

I then drove down Greenwich Avenue and Steamboat Road. Across from the Delamar Hotel, there is an old Rolls Royce with a for sale sign in its window. I then sat out at the Board of Education Veterans Monument Bench, and at 5 A.M. a medium to large coyote cross the street by Starbucks. I then drove to www.mcdonalds.com at West Putnam Avenue, and I bought two McGriddle breakfast sandwiches for $6.44 total. I then went back to the Veterans bench, and I ate them. I then went to www.starbucks.com , and I bought a medium coffee for $3.17 off my Starbucks card. I drank it in front of the Senior and the Arts Center. I then used the bathroom at Starbucks. I then chatted with a friend on my cell phone. I then went to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I bought six Asian noodle meals for free with a $6 off coupon. They are tearing up the sidewalk next to the CFCF coffee shop. I then returned home. I put away the noodle meals. I filed this report. I will now shut down the HP laptop computer, and I will go to bed.
