04/29/20 Wednesday 3:00 A.M. I took the second and third routers off my primary work setup, and I am now only using the primary wireless router. Using a second one, caused it to use slower wireless off the second one. I tested the wireless on the mini computer, and it only works at about 8 mbps download, but with its LAN it still works at 90 mbps download. I will now go outside again. CIO
04/29/20 Wednesday 2:30 A.M. I can hear a lot of traffic on nearby Interstate 95 like possibly the Army of the South is coming North for their summer activity in the warmer weather. However, with New York City nearby, it might be just regular traffic. CIO

Besides having been one of four class photographers in the class of 1965 at Greenwich Country Day School, and my family involvement with the Polaroid Corporation instant film company from 1968 to 972, also when I lived at Mrs. Frances' boarding house at 31 India Street out on www.nantucket.net during the summers of 1977 and 1978 nearby Jimmy Eldert at India House and Fred Von Mierers at John Rugg's both on India Street, the President of Eastman Kodak bought the house across the street from 31 India Street and restored it, but hardly ever used it as I recall. Also with Kennbunkport, Maine back around 1979, an original stockholder in Eastman Kodak left $40 million to the town of Kennebunkport to restore old historical buildings there. I will now shower and clean up. CIO

04/25/20 Saturday 11:05 P.M. I watched series 1 episode 2 and 3 of "The Last of the Czars". I went outside in between episodes. My branch of the Scott family is a lot simpler. My paternal grandparents lived in the same simple Sears and Roebuck house all of their married life. My father was tranfered here to Greenwich in 1962, where we bought a Nantucket type house on two acres off Round Hill Road for $75,000. Of course with inflation, the local terrain has become a lot more expensive. Thus I now have lived in the same Public Housing complex for over 31 years in a simple 400 square foot apartment that I do my best to maintain on limited income. I think one might refer to it as "Pied A Terre" which in the French language meets a "Foot on the Earth". Of course we have the two picnic table benches on the east side of the building for smoking cigar cigarettes in the great outdoors. I do not have any pretentions of Grandeur. I will now go outside again. CIO

I bought a five gallon bottle of Primo Vermont spring water with bottle return for $7.49, two half gallons of Silk vanilla unsweetened almond milk for $3 each, two 59 ounce Tropicana pineapple mango juice for $2.89 each, two 8 packs of Jimmy Dean frozen sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $13.29 each eight pack, a six pack of Thomas' New York Everything bagels for $4.69, two eight packs of hotdog rolls for $3 each pack, buy one get one free of Perdue 8 ounce boneless breast of chicken short cuts for $5.99 both, a 12 ounce package of Nathan's hotdogs for $4.99, and a three pound bag of clementines for $4.99 for $72.29 total. I went outside. I made my bed. However, if one does not like rain, there are other places in the Southwestern United States, where it does not rain too much, but like in Laguna Beach or Orange County, California; they have to drink recycled sewage water, which might not be your taste. The rain clouds at they approach the Rockies or the Sierra Nevada's drop their moisture or snow on the west side of the mountains, and what little bit remains washes down into the Colorado River that has Hoover Dam which stores up the water in Lake Mead and provides electricity for the Southwest. I then went back downtown, and I chatted with a couple of locals. The second time, I bought two 50 ounce liguid antibacterial softsoap for $7.99 each and $1.01 tax for $16.99 total. I also used the bathroom at the CFCF coffee shop three times, and once time, I bought a regular hazzlenut coffee with Splenda sweetener and unsweetened almond milk for $4.23 and .77 tip for $5 total. I drank it in the little walkway with benches. I returned home, and I sat outside. I sold bottle of the liquid soap, and a 19 ounce and a 7 ounce Lysol spray disinfectant to a neighbor for $28 total. 04/11/20 Saturday 8:30 A.M. I went downtown after the last note. I met up with a local, and I drove to the local to Dunkin Donuts on West Putnam Avenue to get coffee. We then sat out for a while chatting. I then drove around the deserted downtown area in the early morning daylight for a while inspecting the deserted town. Apparently the Greenwich Train station according to a local has been closed for three weeks. Morgan Jenkin's new place at the bottom of Steamboat Road is looking quite POSH. The Sophia cosmetics store on Greenwich Avenue has closed and another store is also boarded up. I met up with another local, and we chatted briefly at a distance. There is not much happening around here, since the local media says they shut down the entire Western Hemisphere. I did not hear any traffic today from the nearby busy Interstate I-95. Since I never get around too much anyway besides people watching downtown on Greenwich Avenue, it really does not change my lifestyle too much. It seems like the essential services are still being maintained. I have not checked out the local train station to see if the National Guard is monitoring it or not. The good news is that with the Cornavirus Pandemic, I am not getting too many telemarketing telephone calls, when I try to sleep in the daytime. Some of my neighbors seem to be moving around a bit. Before this all broke out, I was pretty much all done with setting up my computer setups, and I was thinking of taking a long drive to New Canaan to see if anything changed there. There is probably not too much traffic on the Merritt Parkway, but I guess I have to follow instructions to stay at home except for food and medical supplies. My new www.geico.com automobile insurance policy starts tomorrow which I have already totally paid off until next October 7, 2020. Two days ago, when I went downtown in the early morning for a few supplies, there was hardly anyone except a few staff. Of course, since last summer this area has not been too busy at all anyway. As a night person, I do not know too many daytime people whom seem to be busier with their families and work. We do have larger towns nearby in Stamford, Connecticut and White Plains, New York; and some of our town workers live in other nearby areas. In the First Selectman's notes, it says that all of the Private Clubs have been also closed. From the people I have chatted with, most everyone is staying at home waiting for this Cornavirus Pandemic to get over soon. Some people have told me though it might last longer, and I have also read the same information off the internet. CIO

However that includes $50 in discounts for all three packages which covers the two cable boxes which are about $12 and taxes other fees.
