03/31/19 Sunday 4:55 P.M. I fiddled with the Imac 2007 boot option trying to get it to work. It is pointless, and I really do not need it right now since it runs fine as it is. I bought it from Wisconsin a couple of years ago for $74 with free shipping. I went outside a couple of times again. I will now eat a toasted onion bagel with Smart Balance spread and a glass of 25% grape juice and 75% Poland Spring water and four ounces of raw almonds and two 1.5 inch by .25 inch by 4.5 inch slices of Norwegian Jarslberg cheese. 03/31/19 Sunday 11:55 A.M. I tried to get the Imac 2007 to boot off the Mountain Lion CD, but it will not boot off it. I did not try an external DVD player though. I went outside. For some reason, from what I saw on the internet, I thought one could install a Windows 7 CD on an Imac 2007 with its CD, but I guess one has to use boot camp which would be too slow. CIO
03/31/19 Sunday 10:00 A.M. I went outside a couple of times. I chatted with a relative and a friend. Traditionally Sunday in the United States of America is supposed to be a day of rest. Of course, frequently the night time people put in a bit over time; when everyone is whipped out from their weekend activities what ever the working class do. I think they are called "Weekend Warriors"; before they go back to pushing buttons on a calculator or whatever they do in the daytime around here. I do not feel tired, so I will try to figure out something to do constructive. CIO

!!!!!! 03/31/19 Sunday 7:00 A.M. I put my entire network on Defcon 8. The highest we have ever been before is Defcon 3. I guess from what little I know, there are hoards of people working their way north a bit early for this time of year. I am so focused on personal computers and internet technology, I am not too well versed in global affairs outside my 4.7 mile round trip downtown occasionally. I chatted with an associate. I went outside, and I drank a 10 ounce warm home made Vanilla Mocha Frappucinno coffee. I am still listening to wave music, like I took off in my top secret cigarette boat, and I am outside the two hundred mile limit half way to Bermuda, but that might be that former Nantucket neighbor of mine, nobody pays any attention too. 03/31/19 Sunday 5:10 A.M. I went outside twice. I fiddled with my three talk devices. Alexa seems to have the best variety of free music. The Harman Kardon Cortana Microsoft Device is good at making telephone calls, since it has a microphone. I tested it by calling the www.nantucket.net police and the Hyatt Hotel in Old Greenwich who are still awake and a D.C. number that was amused. On the Cortana when dialing if they ask you to press a number, just say "Press 1 or 2 etc. Hey Google seems to be the best on information. I watered the plants with 20 drops of Schultz liquid plant per quart. Well, so far tonight I have not spent too much money online. The apartment is well set up for communications, but it is so complex, most people would probably rather use a cell phone, if you get my drift. I will now go outside again. Alexa can play the sound of the ocean. CIO
03/31/19 Sunday 3:00 A.M. I put the white poinsetta plant which is almost gone on the window shelf behind the brown Queen Anne chair. I put the yellow tulips on the Lazy Susan on the oak dining table. I put the www.microsoft.com Harman Kardon Cortana speaker with microphone on the white table on the right side of the Queen Anne chair at the hallway entrance. 03/31/19 Sunday 2:00 A.M. I moved the Muzili bluetooth speaker microphone to the white table in front of the left living room closet, and I have it paired with "Hey Google". It does work for music playing off the Muzili speaker, but when making a call its microphone picks up one's voice, but it plays the sound off the "Hey Google" device. Thus one can make a call or talk to the Muzili speak with "Hey Google". One can also sit in the Queen Anne chair by the hallway and use the Amazon remote to dictate to Alexa or hold the microphone button for a longer call to talk listening off the Jamo bluetooth speaker. I will now go outside again. CIO

I bought a 12 ounce bag of Dunkin Donuts hazelnut coffee for $5.99, buy one get one free of 20 ounce Palmolive antibacterial dishwashing detergent for $3.89 both, and two 250 Nutrataste artificial sweetener for $3.69 each and .25 tax for $17.51 total. I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center. I walked the lower Greenwich Avenue area, and I sat out at various locations. I toured the www.apple.com store. I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com , and I chatted with a Starbucks regular. I drove all the way over to Whole Foods. I toured the store. I chatted with a few locals. I bought a Dutch Delph pot with three yellow tulips half bloomed in it for $6.99 and .44 tax and $7.43 total. I then returned home. I sat outside briefly. I put away the groceries. I put the Delph pot of yellow Dutch tulips on the little white table on the right side of the Queen Anne chair at the hallway entrance. CIO

03/30/19 Saturday 3:25 A.M. I paid my http://optonline.net/ Digital Cable TV, Optimum Boost Plus, Optimum Voice, and my http://www.verizon.net/ bill and my www.eversource.com electricity account. My current Optimum bill was $259 which is about $105 for high speed Cable Modem Internet, $35 for Optimum Voice long distance and about $119 for premium Cable TV. However that includes $20 in discounts for all three packages which covers the two cable boxes which are about $20 and taxes other fees. On the Apple Imac Mini setup, I disconnected the Brother laser printer power cord from the HP backup control panel, and I plugged it into the wall, the Brother laser printer now turns on with its switch on the side. I move the HP LaserJet P1102w laser printer from the bedroom setup to the right side of the www.hp.com backup computer setup. It turns on with the switch on the HP control panel. I set it up in Windows 10. I will now go outside again. I will then shower and clean up. CIO

I then sat out in front of the Senior and the Arts center, and I drank my coffee, and I ate the croissant. I then walked the lower Greenwich Avenue area. I toured the www.apple.com store. At the Greenwich Cigar store, I bought an Ace's High scratch card for a dollar; and I lost. I sat out for a while longer. I then returned home. I sat out for a while. I then moved the Logitech 2.1 speaker system to the Apple Imac Mini late 2012 setup, so it has much better sound. It turned on with the Phillips squid that also turns on the chat devices. I forgot to mention, it Brother laser printer turns on the with the control panel from the backup www.hp.com computer to the right of the primary HP and Apple setup. I bought for 75% off a 15.5 ounce Campbell's Chunky Maxx grilled white meat chicken and bacon for .94 and with a $4 off CVS coupon machine coupon on $15 vitamins and a $5 bonus bucks CVS coupon machine coupon buy one get one free CVS Cranberry 4200 mg. 250 soft gels for $17.74 for $18.68 total. They also did not charge me for a special surprise. I then drove down to the Board of Education parking lot. I walked the lower Greenwich Avenue area. I sat out at various locations. At Zyn stationary, I bought a Ace's High scratch card for a dollar, and I lost. I then used my www.starbucks.com card, and I bought the $2.07 small Starbucks regular coffee with Splenda sweetener and half and half. I sat in front of the Senior and the Arts center chatting with a Starbucks regular. I tried using the bathroom at Starbucks, but both bathrooms were locked when it was not busy. I then drove the Starbucks regular to CVS on Greenwich Avenue, and the Starbucks regular got three 12 packs of diet www.coke.com for $11 and bottle deposit. I drove the Starbucks regular back to the Starbucks' regular's abode, and I used my little folding cart to deliver them. I then went by the Acme grocery store, and I bought a five gallon bottle of Poland Spring water with bottle return for $5.99. I then went by the www.chase.com bank ATM machine at Deerfield Place. I then went by the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a 12 pack of Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, cheese croissants for $12.99, six onion bagels for .59 each, four 17 ounce Quaker Medley oat cluster cereals with almonds and dates for $3 each and bananas for .59 a pound for .35 for $28.88 total. I then returned home. I sat outside briefly. I used my little folding cart to bring up the 42 pound bottle of Poland Spring water and my green bag with the other items. I then put away the groceries. The Apple Imac Mini late 2012 with Mojave is all setup on the right side of the desk to the right of the primary work computer connected to the Westinghouse TV with a Microsoft web cam and headset. It seems to be working just fine. The sound is connected to the Westinghouse TV which is also connected to the JVC sound bar with an optical cable. It is connected with LAN and wireless. 03/26/19 Tuesday 7:00 A.M. I have the Bluetooth B12 wireless bluetooth headset setup on the Alexa device. I put the wireless headset on the little white table with the Ipad 2 devices. To change between the different Alexa bluetooth speaker devices on has to use "http://alexa.amazon.com/" with the computer running off the wireless with the Netgear wireless device plugged in or use the Apple Iphone 5S Alexa program. At the moment I restores the Alexa Echo 3 speaker by unplugging its speaker plug, so it is back to its own sound. I went outside again. I cancelled the Amazon order for beans and lentils. I moved the Jamo speaker to the right of the Queen Anne chair with the Alexa remote, so with the Jamo speaker turned on to Bluetooth, one can say "Alexa Connect Speaker", and that speaker plays at that location with the Alexa remote control handy to use for tell Alexa what to do. I can not get it to print of the HP Wireless laser printer. aserJet-P1102w-used-on-macOS-Mojave-operating/td-p/6951659 . However, the Ethernet plug does work, so I moved it back to the far end of the oak dining table with its setup, so the heavier shorter LAN cable can work with it. It is getting 400 mbps second download off the Ethernet port, and I also have the USB ethernet connected to it. I guess their server is busy. One has to use Firefox and not Sefari to show Netflix. I have Skype working on it. I also connected the Phillips bluetooth speaker to it to have as the default audio output instead of the headset. Also when I install the SSD 3 drives on the primary and backup computers, since they are 500 GB, I have to shrink my 1 TB hard drives with the Windows Disk Manager, so they are less than 500 GB in size, and then make Windows Complete backups that I can restore to the smaller SSD 3 drivers. The first time I tried to install Majavi on the Apple MacBook 7.1, I think it installed as an upgrade; but I did not read the instructions properly to reboot the USB pen drive a second time and select the bottom final setup option to select my type of computer. However, when I went to install the second time, it let me create a new partition with the latest file format, and following the instructions, installation was straight forward, and it works just fine. I put the Ipad 2 on it and the Himalayan salt lamp on the Dutch Inn ash tray from Washington D.C. and three Christmas tree coasters and the Ipad 2 Bluetooth speaker. I moved the small brass and glass table from that location to in front of the Nestle water dispenser in the kitchen, so one can sit on the white captain's kitchen chair near that location and have a cup of coffee or tea. I move the Mountain mummy sleeping bag from the behind the Ethan Allen recliner to the rear floor of the left living closet. I still have the two air mattresses behind the Ethan Allen recliner and the two Amazon sleeping bags are on the floor of the right living room closet. The white steel and Formica living table could also be used a serving side board or a eating place or even a cocktail bar, if I ever had any friends for a low key cocktail party. However, that is beyond my imagination at the moment. With all of the tiny useful items around the apartment, I would feel nervous about strangers possibly picking up something like a cell phone or remote control that I might need. I then brought my groceries up the street in a CVS hand cart, and I loaded them into the car into my Green Bag. I then drove down the street, and I returned the hand cart to CVS. I sat out across the street in the pouring rain with my almost new Taylor Made golf umbrella to stay dry. I then went back into CVS, and I bought two 2.75 ounce Irish Spring speed stick deodorant for $5.50 both and .35 tax for $5.85 total. I then bought three 14.5 ounce Swanson's chicken broth for half price for .32 total with a $2.50 discount coupon from the previous purchase. I then sat out across the street some more. I cleaned the toilet and the toilet area with Lysol spray, Clorox toilet bowl cleaner and CVS Lysol spray disinfectant. I cleaned the bathtub with Comet scouring powder, the bath but walls with Lysol spray and Telex mold and tile cleaner and CVS Spray disinfectant area. I cleaned the kitchen counter and kitchen sink area with Lysol spray cleaner. I vacuumed the entire apartment. I threw out the garbage and the recycle paper. On the Boeing 737 problem, from my reading it is mostly made of composite plastic resins to be more energy efficient. Cytec on the Old Greenwich Stamford, Connecticut border is supposed to have originally developed those plastic composite resins for windsurfing boards. From what I know from my observations around the ocean, plastic deteriorates from salt water, salt air and probably sulfuric acid rains which might have affected the new Boeing 737 aircraft depending on where and how they were used. Also, in the upper atmosphere it is very cold and with extreme temperature changes, it probably made the new plastic composite resins more brittle. Also, in warmer temperatures depending on wind conditions, aircraft have less lift when taking off. CIO

03/12/19 Tuesday 5:30 A.M. On Netflix, I watched series 1 episode 1 of "Secrets of the Bible". I went outside again in the early morning wilderness of the tiny part of southwestern Connecticut on the New Amsterdam border. Of course on the map of Magellan which is a pretty old map, New England is called "Nova Francia", if one knows Spanish or in English "New France"; so I guess the French were here in force before Henry Hudson ventured down from Hudson's Bay. The English speaking British in this area do not pay much attention to the long term residents in this area, since they are preprogrammed with another educational system from across the pond. Possibly they have heard it all before, and they are trying to manage some of their long forgotten investments in the New World as opposed to being part of the "New World Order" that James Paul Warburg senior dreamed up after his www.harvard.edu education in economics probably at the same time as the wealthy Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Some of those old New Amsterdam or New York families are still around upstate New York and occasionally venturing down into Manhattan. For all I know they are still working the Erie Canal. I also made a monthly payment on my apartment renters insurance.
