02/29/24 Thursday 11:30 P.M.  I put a veggie wrap on a dinner plate.  I covered it on one side with Hellmann's olive oil mayonnaise.  I then alternated it with nine slices of Oscar Meyer deli sliced ham  with three slices of Dutch Van de Kass gouda cheese, and I rolled it up, and I cut it in half.  I ate it with a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounces of grapefruit juice and a 15 ounce can of corn with Smart Balance spread.  The slices of deli ham I am using are very paper thin, but the cheese is just as thin, so it is basically a ham and cheese wrap.

02/29/24 Thursday 8:40 P.M.  On the second Dell 17.3 inch laptop with Windows 10 Professional, I was able to change the disk partitioning and install Windows 12 beta Canary in French on a second partition.  It seems to work fine, if one knows a bit of French.  I will configure it shortly.

02/29/24 Thursday 6:30 P.M.  I woke up at 3:40 P.M..  I made my bed.  I went outside.  I ate my usual breakfast of pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, Jimmy Dean sausage egg and cheese croissant, two English muffins with Smart Balance spread, diet cranberry juice, and a instant coffee outside.  I washed the breakfast dishes.  I picked up the mail.  The order with tracking of Track Package (amazon.com) for Amazon.com: Lenovo - Laptop Shoulder Bag T210 for Laptop or Tablet, Sleek Design, Durable and Water-Repellent Fabric, Gray, 15.6 inch : Electronics for free arrived.  I put it on the floor of the right living room closet.  I went out to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought a 12 pack of Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $16.99, a six pack of Stop and Shop English muffins for $1.99 and a five gallon bottle of Poland Spring water with bottle return for $9.99 for $28.97 total.  I then returned home.  I used my little folding cart to bring up the 42 pound bottle of water and the other food.  I put the cart and the grey bag back in the car.  I drank a instant coffee outside.  I chatted with a friend.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

02/29/24 Thursday 4:50 A.M.  On the second Dell 17.3 inch laptop with Windows 10, I tried installing Windows 12 beta Canary in French in a second partition, but it eliminated Windows 10.  To fix it, I did a Hirens MBR low level format of the hard drive.  I then installed Windows 10 Professional.  I then restored the Aomei backup of the activated Windows 10 Professional, and it is now back to the way it was before.  I went outside twice, and one of those times, I drank an instant coffee.

02/28/24 Wednesday 4:35 A.M.  I watched off Optimum Channel 107 Cspan, a program from the George H.W. Bush Library on Presidential Train Travel.  The last time I visited Washington D.C. mlsdc.jpg (689×947) (mikelouisscott.com) on a few zero degree Fahrenheit days, I road back to this area on the Amtrak to Stamford, Connecticut.  I chatted part of the way with a Joshua Epsbury from Lakeville, Connecticut.  I might have been on Amtrak since then traveling from Wells, Maine back to Stamford.

02/28/24 Wednesday 3:10 A.M.  I did a long round trip of 1.4 miles to the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I put the Chevron Techron in the fuel tank, and I filled up the fuel tank with $20.06 of self service premium gasoline at $4.399 a gallon for 4.5616 gallons at odometer reading of 125341 miles for 58.1 one miles driven since Saturday February 3, 2024 for 12.737 miles per gallon in local traffic.

On energy saving, I only shower and clean up about every 5 to 7 days except special occasions.  I also when the apartment living room lights are on all night, I also use energy saving LED light bulbs.  I also don't waste fuel going downtown all of the time except necessary trips to the grocery store and the pharmacy.

02/28/24 Wednesday 12:40 A.M.  Billy Baldwin decorated the White House for Jackie Kennedy and he also spent every summer out on www.nantucket.net since the mid 1930s, and he also knew the Duke of Windsor Amazon.com : billy baldwin decorates  Fred Von Mierers was suppose to take over his business with Taylor Sterling the architect from Greenwich, but all I know is Fred rented a room from John Rugg on India Street on Nantucket, and he painted it all with white lacquer.  He did eat all of the time at the Opera House down the street, but I guess times changed.  I saw Billy Baldwin a lot around Bloomingdales on Third Avenue in Manhattan near where he lived in a small studio, but the only time I tried to chat with him was out on Nantucket, when I saw him being chauffered in a Buick sedan, and I yelled at him he had a flat tire.  He also lived on Hussey Street behind India House where Jimmy Eldert worked.  However, I heard he had moved to Sconset later on to be nearby Bunny Mellon, he was working for.

02/25/24 Sunday 11:40 P.M.  My interior decorating advisor told me the apartment is perfect and to leave it just the way it currently is.

When I used to help manager the apartment at 420 East 49th street in Manhattan from October 1973 to February 1975 not much ever changed, and Fred Von Mierers only had a few visitors in that time, so it was like an oasis in the middle of Manhattan, but at the same time I had to help maintain our family house in Greenwich which was quite a change of pace.  In Manhattan, one had to walk a lot and use public transportation, but in Greenwich we had a family car.  One of the conflicts in Greenwich was keeping the raccoons away from the garbage cans which were Sears big plastic cans with a rubber tie on the lid which the raccoons could remove.  However, I discovered two big holes underneath them with rusted out in ground cans with cast iron lids, so I went to the Greenwich Hardware store, and I got two replacement cans to put underneath the heavy iron lids which the raccoons could not mess with.

I watched episode 3 of Archie off Amazon Britbox.

02/25/24 Sunday 6:40 P.M.  I went downtown to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I picked up a prescription.  I sat out briefly in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park.  I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center.  I sat out for a while.  I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com .  I then sat out some more.  I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought a clearance four pack of croissants for $2.89, two six packs of Stop and Shop English muffins for $1.99 each six pack, a 48 ounce Almond Breeze vanilla unsweetened almond milk for $5.99 and a deli sliced white American cheese for $5.99 a pound for $6.29 for $19.15 total.  On Greenwich Avenue, they were putting out flyers on cars for a new barbecue place at 275 Mason Street, but they don't tell the prices.  I returned home.  I put away the food.  I went outside, and I put the grey bag back in the car.  I drank a instant coffee.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.

02/23/24 Friday 9:55 P.M.  With various wars going on overseas, if the Connecticut National Guard were deployed overseas along with our neighboring New York National Guard, I think from what I have read the Illinois National Guard which never leaves the country would have to come out to defend the East Coast of America from their viewpoint.  Alas nobody communicates with me much anymore, so maybe United States military tactics have changed over the years.  I did learn one thing or two when I lived around the United States Navy in Key West, Florida and else where, there were also Royal Navy personnel around instead of smoking Players cigarettes, they smoked Silent Service cigarettes which is what the British called their submarine fleet.  New London, Connecticut used to have a submarine base besides the nearby Coast Guard academy, but we never hear much about them in southwestern Connecticut.  In my research, I did learn the Illinois Central railroad now owned by the Canadian National Railroads with the largest stock holder being Bill Gates of Microsoft had an old worn down spur line from Montreal, Quebec, Canada to New London, Connecticut.  However on a report over twenty years ago by a local resident from Vermont it is not well maintained and is all falling apart.  CIO

02/23/24 Friday 4:05 P.M.  I went downtown to the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park.  I paid $1.50 in quarters to park for an hour.  I went to www.cvs.com twice, and I bought a package of men's 15 Pamper's diapers in large and extra large with discount coupons for $17.71 total.  I then sat out some more.  I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center, and I sat out for a while.  I used the bathroom there.  I drove by the Greenwich Hospital Thrift shop, and there parking lot was filled up, so I could not explore it.  I then returned home.  I put away my diapers.  I went outside, and I drank a instant coffee.  CIO

02/22/24 Thursday 9:05 P.M.  About 5:30 P.M. near sunset, when I was sitting outside, I saw a tall skinny black coyote or young black wolf crossing the north side of the parking lot into the woods. 

I put a veggie wrap on a dinner plate.  I covered it on one side with Hellmann's olive oil mayonnaise.  I then alternated it with four extremely paper thin slices of deli sliced of Boars Head honey ham and four slices of deli sliced honey ham with six slices of white American cheese, and I rolled it up, and I cut it in half.  I ate it with a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounces of Tropicana Caribbean Sunset juice and a 12 ounce can of sweet peas with Smart Balance spread.  I also ate a 12.75 ounce can of Green Giant creamed corn with Smart Balance spread. The slices of deli ham I am using are very paper thin, but the cheese is just as thin, so it is basically a ham and cheese wrap.

To delete one's favorites or bookmarks on a Apple computer.  Open Safari.  Then open bookmarks.  Then open Edit.  Then click on the top bookmark in the group.  Then scroll down to the bottom of the bookmarks in the group and click on the bottom bookmark with the Shift key.  Then all of the bookmarks will be highlighted in blue.  Then press the Back Space key and all of the bookmarks in the group will be deleted.  I deleted about five hundred old bookmarks, so Safari now works a lot faster.  CIO

02/22/24 Thursday 6:10 A.M.  I channel surfed.  If one is Roman Catholic, one can watch the daily mass from St. Patrick's cathedral in Manhattan with Cardinal Dolan on channel 137 off the Optimum cable system at 6:30 P.M. in the evening for a half hour.  Not many people there though.  The last time I went to Manhattan about 23 years ago for the Microsoft conference when I saw King Charles looking at the remodeled Grand Central Station with the big Apple store, I also photographed the front entrance of St. Patrick's and a early morning jogger came out and jogged down Fifth Avenue.

I have been working on the Mac Mini connected to the 49 inch Samsung television.  I am trying to learn the Apple system.  I was able to delete the hundreds of old bookmarks that I had collected over the years.

I went downtown to the www.chase.com Bank ATM machine on Greenwich Avenue.  They are finally removing the Holiday lights from Greenwich Avenue.

I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought a four pack of Oikos three zero free yogurt for $3.50, two 15 ounce Marie Callender chicken pot pies for $3.50 each, a 48 ounce Silk vanilla almond milk for $5.89, two packages of deli sliced honey ham for $5.99 a pound for $5.63 and $5.66, a package of deli sliced Van de Kass Dutch gouda cheese for $9.99 a pound $10.14, and a package of vegi wraps for $4.99 for $42.81 total.  I then returned home.  I put away the groceries.  I went outside, and I put the grey bag back in the car.  I drank a instant coffee.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

02/17/24 Saturday 4:35 P.M.  I chatted with a relative.  I went outside.  I picked up the mail.  The order with tracking of Track Package (amazon.com) for Amazon.com: La Crosse Technology Weather Station with Customizable Alerts, Weather Forecast, Temperature, Dew Point, Humidity, Time, Heat Index, Large Display, Adjustable Brightness, Wireless, Black, C85845-INT : Patio, Lawn & Garden arrived.  I put batteries in its sensor and its base station, and I set up the base station on the right hallway bookcase middle shelf, and I hung the sensor outside the window.   I setup the base station, and I also plugged it into power.  It works just fine.  I threw out the garbage, and I drank a instant coffee outside.

02/16/24 Friday 10:15 P.M.  Baker Furniture used to have a show room on Greenwich Avenue, and one of the last times I went to Manhattan about thirty years ago when I met Ima MacDonald that looked like the Queen Mum, I also met the owner of Baker Furniture.  He told me his family once owned the Hope Diamond before Harry Winston mailed it to the Smithsonian registered mail.  He also told me that they used to own the three Starbucks mansions on Main Street way out on Nantucket.

02/16/24 Friday 9:00 P.M.  I watched off Netflix, "Einstein and the Bomb."  As I recall, the first time I visited www.princeton.edu was around Christmas Time in 1967, when I drove down from Boston in my Mustang convertible to see the Taft School play in the Lawrenceville Hockey Tournament.  I was able to stay at the Cottage Club with some friends with connections there.  However, when a young coed looked in the backseat of my car, I had our family six inch black and white Sony television hooked up to the cigarette lighter for power, and she told me that is very, "Noveau Riche."  However, the last time I visited Princeton at Easter Time about 25 years ago, I saw old wooden historical signs directing visitors to a Scott family farm, so maybe a distant relative was there in colonial days.

02/16/24 Friday 5:30 P.M.  I channel surfed.  I chatted with a relative.  I moved the folding mahogany chair into the northwest corner of the living room to be used with the laptop setup on the square Danish table at that location.  From that location I moved the bent pine chair with blue cushion to in front of the bookcase on the left side of the hallway entrance where it has been before.  Thus the spare folding chair is in use.  It can be easily be stored away, but having lived in larger homes, I think not just in television viewing but in polite conversational setup such as one might have if guests showed up for some unknown reason.  Having been back from a long vacation in Nantucket in December 1983 when the bridge fell down in Greenwich in April 1983 delaying my return after visiting Oslo, Norway; it seems like the whole town changed from a quiet village to a small metropolis when the bridge fell down.  I guess I saw so many people in my travels and out on Long Island and Manhattan, some people decided to settle here.  I always spoke highly of Greenwich only to find that when I returned forty years ago for good, the simple little town had changed quite a bit.  I guess all of the new hedge funds in Greenwich also attacked a lot of new people into town.  Apparently Connecticut regulates hedge funds differently than New York State does from what I have read.  Steve www.forbes.com wrote that about thirty years ago.  When I returned on the Aga Khan's birthday forty years ago, he was living in Greenwich and was the high commissioner of refugees at the www.un.org .  However, from what I know about my family's lengthy residence in this country up to 400 years, we are not refugees.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

I will now go outside and drink a instant coffee.  The Queen of Sweden is from Brazil, so the Swedes must drink lots of coffee.  Swedish America ship lines used to come into Manhattan on Christopher Street on the Hudson River, so there must be a few Swedes in that neighborhood.  Also McNulty's Tea & Coffee — McNulty's Tea & Coffee Co., Inc (mcnultys.com) is on Christopher Street with lots of exotic tea and big bags of coffee beans.

I once read the most expensive rental per square foot in Manhattan was the little kiosk tobacco shop on the southwest corner of Christopher Street and Seventh Avenue.  I wander what they sell there now.  CIO

02/16/24 Friday 12:55 P.M.  I went out to the Greenwich Hospital Thrift Shop, and I toured the store.  They have a lot of nice stuff including a cranberry fabric ottoman like mine for $55.  I then went downtown to the Senior and the Arts building, and I had a snack at their new cafe of a egg and cheese sandwich with a cup of coffee with Splenda sweetener and cream for $4.50 total.  The cafe is opened from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M..  I then sat out in front for a long time.  I used the bathroom there.  I then walked down to Zyn Stationary, and I bought a "Line-Em-Up" scratch card for a dollar, and I lost as usual to the Bank of Bombay.  I then sat out for a while longer.  I then went back to the Greenwich Hospital Thrift Shop, and I bought a moss green brocade pattern swivel computer desk chair for $38 total.  I then returned home, and I installed it at my desk.  It lowers, so it fits just fine.  I can wheel it off to the left, if I want to recline the Ethan Allen recliner.  I moved the folding mahogany chair from the desk to the right side of the teak dining table.

I took the Wal-Mart blue chair cushion, and I put it in the red leather cushion slip cover that is on the Red leather Chesterfield chair, so is now a bit thinner and more comfortable.

I then took the pillow insert that I took out,  and I put it back in its original pillow slip cover.  I then both of those decorative pillow covers on the black lacquer piano bench.

I moved the blue cushion on the bedroom chair to the second chair at the teak dining table.

02/15/24 Thursday 10:20 A.M.  I went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought a 48 ounce Florida Natural ruby red grapefruit juice for $3, a six pack of Stop and Shop English muffins for $2.99, a package of deli sliced Stop and Shop white American cheese for $5.99 a pound for $6.14, a 48 ounce unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk for $5.99, and a 12 pack of Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, cheese, croissants for $16.99 for $35.11 total.  I then went to the UPS store, and I dropped off the Lacrosse sending unit with the OC code.  I then went to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I bought a gallon of windshield washer fluid for $5.09 total.  I then filled up my windshield washer container in the car with about two thirds of a gallon of windshield washer fluid.  The rest I left in the back of the car.  I then sat out in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park across the street.  I chatted with a friend.  At the CFCF coffee shop, they told me only customers can use the bathroom, but I went ahead and used it anyway.  I told them I had known people in the coffee business for over fifty years.  At 9 A.M., I picked up a prescription at CVS.  I then returned home.  I put away my groceries.  I put the grey bag back in the car.  I drank a decaf instant coffee outside. I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

02/15/24 Thursday 6:15 A.M.  When I channel surf in the early morning hours, there seems to be a lot of 1950s television programming like, "Burns and Allen."  Also channel 103 European News is off the air.  I guess it is to expensive to provide newer content in the early morning hours.  I still have the internet media off the television, but most of it seems geared towards the younger generation.  CIO

02/15/24 Thursday 3:35 A.M.  I put a veggie wrap on a dinner plate.  I covered it on one side with Hellmann's mayonnaise.  I then alternated six extremely paper thin slices of deli sliced Virginia ham with six slices of white American cheese, and I rolled it up, and I cut it in half.  I ate it with a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounces of Tropicana Caribbean Sunset juice. The slices of deli ham I am using are very paper thin, but the cheese is just as thin, so it is basically a ham and cheese wrap.  I will now rest a bit.  CIO

I ate my usual breakfast of pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, Jimmy Dean sausage egg and cheese croissant, two English muffins with Smart Balance spread, diet cranberry juice, and a instant coffee outside.  I washed the breakfast dishes.

I moved the ottoman in front of the bookcase at the left side of the hallway entrance, and I moved the black piano bench from the sitting area to behind the end table in the main apartment entrance area.

The laser printer, I designed at Polaroid's research laboratory in the summer of 1971 used a real laser.  I showed the plans to Joe Costello the head of personnel at Digital Computers, and from what I learned about six months later Xerox had a working laser printer.  On my design, I used paper with a red back, and the laser would burn the print in black on the white side until it reached the red side.  It never took off.  Years later living around all of the Italians in New York City, I thought one could use a laser to carve marble.  CIO

02/10/24 Saturday 7:10 A.M.  On the HP laptop on the desk, I updated Windows 11 Update to the latest Windows 11 System Preview.  I then did a Complete PC backup of it to the external SSD drive.

I also moved the small Alexa display from the wall side of the teak dining table to the window shelf on the left side of the desk.

I went outside, and I drank a decaf coffee.  CIO

The slices of German baloney I am using are very paper thin, but the cheese is just as thin, so it is basically a baloney and cheese wrap.  I will now rest some more.  CIO

02/09/24 Friday 6:45 A.M.  I updated the Microsoft Surface RT.  I then shut it down and folded it up, and I stored it away on the back corner of the teak dining table.  It is only the size of a thin book.  I will probably store it away on the left living room closet shelf in the near future.  I moved the small Alexa display from the kitchen to the back side of the teak dining table with the cell phones.  I can now chat with it at meals.  It is only about five inches by three inches, so it does not take up much room.  I accidentally knocked the Lacrosse weather station off the wall, and it no longer works.  I removed its sending units from outside, and I threw it all away.  I still have the Alexa displays for the weather.

02/09/24 Friday 4:55 A.M.  I was a little bit bored without much to do.  I set up a power strip on the teak dining table to power the cell phones.  I took out the Microsoft Surface RT, and I have it setup on the side of the teak dining table.  It seems to work fine including with the Brother All purpose machine when its USB cable is installed.  It also has a Microsoft mouse, and it works off wireless, since no LAN connections are available.  I am leaving it out until it charges up.  I might leave it out for a short period, and since the second place at the teak table is never used, it is more of an experiment.  It also has Office setup on it with a lot of other Windows 10 apps.

02/05/24 Monday 7:40 P.M.  On the Samsung television, I tested the other Lenovo ThinkCentre mini with its new power cord, and it too has Windows 12 beta on it like the other one.  I reconnected the Apple Mac Mini to the Samsung television, and it is working just fine.  Besides the two Lenovo ThinkCentre minis,  I also have two older Apple Mac Minis.  I also have a Microsoft Surface RT and two Dell 17.3 inch laptops in storage on the left living room closet shelf. Of course, I still have the HP laptop on the desk and the Apple Macbook Pro laptop on the little square table.

02/04/24 Sunday 3:50 A.M.  I set up the Apple MacBook Pro laptop on the left side of the brass and glass telephone table on the left side of the mahogany bureau with the Samsung television.  It uses the bent pine chair with the blue cushion for a chair.  It does not take up much room or look like clutter.

02/03/24 Saturday 9:00 P.M.  With the new external hard drive, I did a complete pc backup of the HP laptop.  I then used this method Create a recovery drive - Microsoft Support to create a recovery USB drive to restore it.  

I put a spinach wrap on a dinner plate.  I covered it on one side with Hellmann's mayonnaise.  I then alternated six extremely paper thin slices of deli sliced honey ham with six slices of Swiss cheese, and I rolled it up, and I cut it in half.  I ate it with a 12 ounce glass of www.coke.com Zero Sugar. The slices of deli ham I am using are very paper thin, but the cheese is just as thin, so it is basically a ham and cheese wrap.

I rested a bit.  I will now go outside and drink a brewed coffee.  CIO

02/03/24 Saturday 6:15 P.M.  I drove downtown to the Board of Education Veterans monument, and I sat out for a long time.  I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com .  I sat out some more.  I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought two six packs of Stop and Shop English muffins for 99 cents each six pack, a package of Toufani whole wheat wraps for $4.99, a package of deli sliced white American cheese for $5.99 a pound for $5.99 and a 30 ounce jar of Hellmann's mayonnaise with olive oil for $5.99 for $18.95 total.  I then went to the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I filled up the tank with $20.02 of 4.485 gallons of self service premium gasoline at $4.499 a gallon at odometer reading of 125283 miles for 53.9 miles driven since Wednesday January 17, 2024 for 12.018 miles per gallon in local traffic.  I then returned home.  I put away my food.  I put the grey bag back in the car, and I drank a brewed coffee outside.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

I moved the bent pine chair from the left side of the brass and glass coffee with the two line AT&T table to the right side of the mahogany bureau with the Samsung television at the left side of the hallway entrance.  I also moved the little mahogany folding chair from the bedroom to the left side of the brass and glass end table with the two line AT&T telephone on the left side of the mahogany bureau with the Samsung television.

02/02/24 Friday 7:45 P.M.  I went out, and I went by the Greenwich Hospital Thrift shop, and I toured the store.  They still have those two Empire Martha Washington chairs for $90 each.  They have a lot of other nice items and furniture there too.  Having supported the Greenwich Hospital Thrift shop for forty years, since I returned from vacation out on www.nantucket.net in December 1983 after side trips to Fort Lauderdale and Toronto, I am familiar with it.  I then went by www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue.  I bought two 80 capsule Aleve liquid gels for $27.98 total.  I then bought a 12 K cup box of McCafe breakfast blend for $1.99 with $5 discount from previous purchase.  I sat out in the park across the street.  I used the bathroom at the CFCF coffee shop.  I paid $2 in quarters to park.  I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center, and I sat out for a long time.  At Zen Stationary, I bought a "Line-Em-Up" scratch card for a dollar, and I lost as usual to the Bank of Bombay.  I toured the Apple store.  I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com .  I then returned home.  I drank a brewed coffee outside.  I brought up the four folding oak TV tables, and I put one behind the bathroom door, and two behind the bedroom door, and the fourth and the wicker tray in front of the bookcase on the left side of the hallway entrance.  I moved the bent pine chair from there to the teak dining table.  One can now use the folding oak table with the wicker tray on top of it to support the Logitech wireless keyboard and wireless mouse at the red leather Chesterfield when using the Lenovo mini ThinkCentre attached to the Samsung 49 inch television.   I chatted with a non high tech friend.  I will now go outside again.  The oak TV folding tables can also be used to support small meals at the other chairs.

On the Lenovo ThinkCentre mini computer attached to the 49 inch Samsung television, one could use it more easily by turning the red leather Chesterfield chair on wheels 90 degrees towards the end table, and putting the Logitech wireless mouse and Logitech wireless keyboard on the end table.  The headset cable is long enough to reach that position.  CIO

02/01/24 Thursday 11:00 P.M.  I opened up the sitting area in the living room.  I moved the new red leather Chesterfield chair which is smaller where the Ethan Allen recliner was at the sitting area entrance, and I moved the Ethan Allen recliner where the Queen Anne chair was further in, and I moved the Queen Anne chair against the windows.   Thus with a smaller chair at the living room sitting area, it looks more open.

02/01/24 Thursday 5:10 P.M.  I went downtown to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue.  I paid a $1.50 in quarters to park for an hour.  I bought two Nescafe Columbian instant for $7.99 each and two tubes of Crest 3 D Whitening toothpaste for $7.29 each and .93 tax for $30.49 total.  I then bought another Nescafe Classico instant coffee for $3.49 with four dollar discount coupon from the previous purchase.  I then sat out across the street.  I chatted with a friend.  I used the bathroom at the CFCF coffee shop.  I then went back into CVS, and I bought a 40 count box of Bigelow green tea for $5.49.  I then went to the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a 42 ounce Smart Balance spread for $9.69 and a 48 ounce Almond Breeze vanilla unsweetened almond milk for $5.69 for $15.38 total.  I then returned home.  I put away my groceries.  I put the grey bag back in the car, and I drank a brewed coffee outside.  I picked up the mail.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO
