I moved the 20 inch Seiki television back underneath the bedroom desk. I took the Creative Sound System off the primary television setup. I unpacked the Samsung television, and I installed its legs on it. I place it on the mahogany bureau in the living room where the other larger television was. I raised it up on either side about two inches with two books on either side, so the remote control sensor was not blocked by the cable box. I switched the cable boxes around, so the new Samsung cable box is on it. Over a period of time, I set it up upgrading its software and connecting it to WiFi and installed a half dozen major apps. It all seems to work just fine. It has good sound, so it does not need a sound bar. One can not play a sound bar and television speakers at the same time. I went outside a number of times and threw out the shipping boxes, and I drank two instant coffees. I install the foam rubber mattress topper on the bed in the bedroom, and I also flipped the mattress. I put the acrylic humidor with cigars on top of the right bookcase in the hallway. I will eat two Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese croissants and two toasted English muffins with Smart Balance spread and raspberry jam and a 12 ounce glass of 50% grape juice and 50% Vermont Spring water and vitamins and supplements and a 12 ounce cup of brewed hazelnut coffee with a package of artificial sweetener and soy milk and a bowl of pineapple chunks with fresh slices of mandarin orange. I will first go outside again.

02/29/20 Saturday 5:35 A.M. I watched episode 4 of "The Ottomans". I went outside, and I drank an instant coffee. When I was on the www.lfc.edu art tour of Europe for the first half of 1972 towards the end of the program, I drove from Athens, Greece to Selchuck in Turkey where Saint Paul the tax collector first preached. From there I drove to Istanbul and back to Athens, Greece. One sees a lot of boulders and rocks from when the volcano San Turini blew up in Minoan times. I drove with a Lake Forest College classmate from East Aurora, New York who had a few connections from what I can tell; but for most of the time we were pretty much on our own except for when we crossed into Turkey and drove down to the Bosporus in the early morning hours, when we saw tens of thousands of I guess Turkish machine gunner elbow to elbow on the both sides of the two lane road surrounded by rocks and boulders in the early morning hours, so at that point, I did not see much of the landscape on our journey into Turkey. It was an adventure in a $300 Opel station wagon that was red and white that I had to work on along the way. The Greek National Guard followed us out of Greece, but did not venture into Turkey. We did see Troy and a bit of Istanbul. They had just completed a huge new bridge similar to George Washington Bridge to cross the Bospersous from Istanbul into Asia. I was told there were so many American Service personnel in Turkey, there was one high school in Ankara with fifty thousand American high school dependants from the large force of American military there. We did visit Agia Sophia or the Blue Mosque depending on what one's religion is. Back then most of the automobiles were early 1950s Chevrolets that all were burning oil I guess from leaky piston rings. CIO

02/28/20 Friday 6:30 A.M. I went downtown after the last note. I drove around the Greenwich Train station and down Steamboat Road. On the way back through town, I met up with a www.starbucks.com regular. We drove to the Shell Station at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $8.88 of self service V-Power premium gasoline for $3.339 a gallon for 2.612 gallons at odometer reading of 120260 miles for 38.3 miles driven since Friday February 21, 2020 for 14.855 miles per gallon in local traffic. I then went by the ATM machine at the www.chase.com bank at the top of Greenwich Avenue. We then returned back downtown for a while. We then drove back to the Shell Station for an errand. We then went to www.starbucks.com , and we sat inside, and I bought a small Pike coffee with Splenda sweetener and almond milk for $2.23 off my Starbucks card. I used the bathroom at Starbucks. I chatted with another local. I then sat outside for a while. I then drove to www.cvs.com at 644 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought four two packs of Jimmy Dean frozen sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $4.19 each two pack for $16.76 total. I then returned home, and I sat outside. I put away my purchases. I filed this report. I will now go outside again. CIO

02/28/20 Friday 2:00 A.M. I worked with the Apple Imac Mini late 2012 on the primary work computer setup. I reactivated Office 365 on it and upgraded it, so for now it works. 02/27/20 Thursday 2:25 A.M. I went out after the last note. I went by the www.chase.com bank ATM machine at the top of Greenwich Avenue. I then drove by the Greenwich Train station and around town. I then returned to the Chase Bank ATM machine at the top of Greenwich Avenue which is out of the rain, and I get Optimum WiFi there. I then drove around downtown Greenwich Avenue some more. I then went by www.cvs.com at 644 West Putnam Avenue. I bought two DiGeorgno 32 ounce self rising pizzas for $5 each for $10 total. I then returned home. I put the new pizzas in the freezer, and I took out a DeGeorgno 28 ounce stuffed pizza, and I put it on the Faberware wire rack, and I covered it with about four ounce of Five Italian shredded cheese, and grated parmesan cheese and seasoned with garlic powder, ground black pepper, Italian spices, Lowry's seasoned salt, and I poured about a cup of extra virgin olive oil around on it, and I am baking it in the Faberware oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 18 minutes. I will eat half and refrigerate half in a Rubbermaid container. I will eat it with a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounces of orange juice. CIO

I put a direct coaxial cable from the bedroom cable box coaxial splitter to the ONN 42 inch television on the Rubbermaid hamper on the right side of the bedroom desk, so it has a much clearer picture. For some reason the power strip on the HDMI splitter has to be turned on for it get its picture. I will now go outside, and I will drink an instant coffee. CIO

I moved the 49 inch Insignia television from there to the primary work computer setup as a monitor. It is also connected to the Cable box though and the Apple Imac Mini late 2012. I then returned home. I picked up the mail. I put away my purchases. I went outside, and I put the green bag back in the car, and I drank an instant coffee. I then moved the Honeywell eight inch fan from on top of the Ricoh color laser printer, and I put it on the floor by the Ethan Allen recliner. I put a shelf on the Ricoh color laser printer back side, and I moved the Westinghouse 32 inch TV from the right side of the bedroom desk to that shelf connected up as a second monitor for the Apple Imac late 2013. I returned home, and I used the same folding cart to bring it up to my apartment. I moved the Xerox all purpose machine from the kitchen entrance book case to the right side of the bedroom Apple Imac late 2013 on the bedroom desk, where it is already configured for it. I then setup the Brother machine, and I put it at the kitchen entrance book case, and I have its fax connected to the Optimum telephone line. I threw out its box. I installed its software for it connected to the primary work computer, and it all works just fine. I registered it. I will now go outside, and I will drink an instant coffee. I will then shower and clean up, and I will go downtown.

I then drove with the local to the www.chase.com bank ATM machine at the top of Greenwich Avenue. We then went back by CVS on Greenwich Avenue. I bought on sale for $10.99 a Tracfone cell phone for $19.99 plus tax for about $23.99 total. I then bought two 20 ounce Heinz ketchup for $3 each for $6. I then dropped off the Starbucks regular. I then use the bathroom at Starbucks. I put $10 on my Starbucks card. I bought a Starbucks Pike Grande coffee with Splenda artificial sweetener and soy milk for $2.63 off my Starbucks card. I drank it in front of the Senior and the Arts Center. I used the bathroom at Starbucks. I chatted with an Economist from the University of Chicago with a Masters Degree. When John Simmons Bolton and I left Key West towards the middle of April 1978 after living at the Casa Marina Hotel, when it was under construction, we made it to Ashville, North Carolina; and we hiked the Appalachian Trail for three or four days until it started to snow, and we stayed at a hikers hostel, and when we came off the trail in a small down in the hills of North Carolina, at a General Store there, we bought a new red Queen Size red Acrilan Blanket for $5 that we used for extra warmth. We then got a ride from somebody from Daniel Construction with a gun in his glove box down to Hilton Head, where we camped out at Hilton Head, and there were tracks of a 14 foot long alligator around our tent. We then camped out at Huntington Island, and we woke up to thousands of young www.marine.mil recruits on the beach there having a beach party. We then got a ride with Jimmy Buffet back down to Key West by the first of May, so we could get our Food Stamps allocation. We finally made it north hitch hiking to Washington D.C., and we caught the Amtrak to Stamford, Connecticut; and we stayed with a relative for a few days in Byram, before we hitchhiked back to www.nantucket.net for the summer until mid October 1978, when we drove across country in the $150 1971 yellow Subaru wagon from Nantucket that came had been in Dillon, Colorado and was owned by a Polaroid employee out there in Nantucket. I moved the 8 inch hanging plant from above the living room Cable Box to hanging above the floor at the entrance to the Ethan Allen recliner and brown pattern Queen Anne chair. It is slightly lower than six feet, so people above 5 feet 9 inch might have to duck their heads a little bit. Well, it will not drip over anything, but the carpet floor, and I will let it drain after watering it, so it does not drip on the floor. CIO
02/05/20 Wednesday 5:35 A.M. I watched series 3 episode 5 of "The Crown". In retrospect, I am probably one of the few people in the United States of America that have actually seen Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip here, when on July 5, 1976; when I was walking up Third Avenue in Manhattan in a wool suit, a police man motioned my into Bloomingdales department store, and shortly there after; Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip arrived waving from the sunroof a Bentley sedan and toured Bloomingdales and walked by me in the receiving line with me who just happened in off the street. For all I know they had me mistaken for someone else considering I have never stepped foot in the United Kingdom, but I did once use Fred Von Mierers apartment at 420 East 49th street between October 1973 and February 1975 which was about two and half blocks away from the old British Consulate on Third Avenue. It looked to be a big enough and new enough building. I do not know why they had to move it to another location closer to the www.un.org . Well, I will now go outside again. I think I should start thinking about putting on the Feed Bag. The unfortunate news during my sedentary activity in the winter, I have put on eight pounds, going from 211 pounds to 219 pounds. I guess it is the double servings of English Muffins at breakfast is all that I can think off and maybe the buns with the hotdogs are too much bread. CIO

I took a six inch hose clamp, and I fastened it to the ceiling strut about the 49 inch Insignia television in the living room, and I hung the 8 inch hanging plant from there. It is thus easier to take down to water. However, when one rehangs it, one has to be careful it does not drip water into the Cablevision box below it. My www.eversource.com electricity bill for January 2020 was $213.73 for 994 kWh for 32.06 kWh per day for 31 days for $6.89 a day with an average temperature of 35.7 degrees Fahrenheit. My electricity bill for January 2019 was $264.23 for 1263 kWh for 43.55 kWh per day for 29 days for $9.11 a day with an average temperature of 29.1 degrees Fahrenheit. All I can figure out why it might be warmer this winter is that every 13 to 15 years there are sun spots or solar flares which makes the earth warmer. CIO

I sat out at the Senior and the Arts Center, and I chatted with a Starbucks regular. I then used the bathroom at Starbucks. I then drove to Whole Foods on East Putnam Avenue, and I bought an eight inch hanging plant for $9.99 a half gallon of 365 unsweetened almond milk for $2.56 for $12.55 total with discounts. I then went by the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought two 12 ounce packages of Nathan's hotdogs for $2.99 each, two wedges of Norwegian Jarslberg cheese for $4.99 a pound for $4.42 and $4.32, and three pounds of Mandarin oranges for $4.99 for $20.32 total. It might be way out in the woods some where for all that I know. The Ford family are prominent members of the Republican Party. I called Verizon, and they said if they have to work outside of the building, it will not be resolved until Monday February 3, 2020 by 8 P.M.. I still have my Optimum telephone line, and my cell phone telephone lines. I put the Radio Shack Big Button phone on the Optimum line in the bedroom by the bedroom desk. CIO
