02/28/18 Wednesday 9:15 P.M. The small Android computer works just fine on the big screen 49 inch television. I have its video connected to port 5 on the port switch which is on HDMI 2 on the television. I also used a triple USB connector to connect the Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse, the Logitech headset, and the Logitech web cam. I also have 64 GB microSD card in it. I also connected its audio out to the Boston Acoustics sound bar aux 2, so it plays out of there and the big screen television audio HDMI or one can switch it in Audio settings to the USB headset. I put a few programs on it. I chatted with a relative. I went outside, and I chatted with neighbors. For some reason Microsoft will not let me reset my Skype password, and the ones that I have tried do not work except on the primary work computer, but I never used it anyway, since I have free long distance with Optimum Voice. 02/27/18 Tuesday 1:45 A.M. As I recall, I think I also visited Key West for a few days after I drove across country by myself from San Francisco in the old yellow Subaru from Nantucket during the failed Iran hostage rescue, and I then drove back up north to Port Washington, Long Island. That might have been in the fall of 1979. I recall on that visit staying in my car at the Key West International airport, and that might have been when I bought the replacement windshield for the Subaru in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the air conditioning system that I installed in Greenwich during Christmas Eve that year, when I was house sitting for Burns Security up on North Street. However, there was another return trip from California in the old yellow Subaru, when I installed a solenoid switch on the starter motor in Abilene Kansas outside of the Eisenhower museum, when four cadets from Eisenhower military academy were trying to figure out what I was doing. However, that might have been in the fall of 1978. On that trip in 1979, the starter motor did not work in Key West, so possibly, I have my dates mixed up. The last time I was in Palm Beach, Florida was during the September 1980 trip across country out to California in the Burgundy Volvo coupe. I flew back the day after election day on that trip with a friend. CIO

In the entire time I was in Key West from October 1976 to April 1977 and January 1978 to May 1978 and a few days in 1977 and for a couple of days in September 1980 and for a month in February 1982, I only had three beers and three vodkas on the rocks, so I was not a heavy drinker down there. Thus safer cars and highway and road safety are also important. The stretch of road on Interstate 95 in my area from Port Chester, New York to Norwalk, Connecticut is the fourth most dangerous stretch of highway in the United States of America. 02/23/18 Friday 1:05 A.M. I preheated the Farberware convection oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. I took the 31.5 ounce DiGiorno Supreme pizza, and I took it out of its box and off its cardboard bottom, and I put garlic powder, ground black pepper, Italian spices, oregano, Lowry's seasoned salt, dried onion, grated parmesan cheese, and extra virgin olive oil on it. I baked it in the Farberware convection oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit on the center wire rack for about 18 minutes until done and medium light brown. I removed it from the oven on its wire rack with pot holders, and I slid it onto the maple cutting board, and I will cut it into quarters with the pizza cutter wheel, and I l refrigerated half in a Rubbermaid container with lid, and I ate the other half with a knife and fork along with a plate with 40 grape tomatoes and three ounces of diced Norwegian jarlsberg cheese and two ounces of Texas Toast garlic and cheese croutons seasoned with garlic powder, ground black pepper, Italian spices, oregano, dried onion bits, Lowry's season salt and grated parmesan cheese with Balsamic vinegar dressing and extra virgin olive oil and a 12 ounce glass of diet Fresca. I did not return two of the Philips charge kits and a Duracell dual USB car charger, since I did not have receipts for them. I then went by ATM at the www.chase.com bank at the top of Greenwich Avenue. I then went back by CVS, and I bought buy one get one free of 30.5 ounce Di Georgno supreme pizzas for $7.69 both and two six packs of White Castle cheeseburgers for $9 both less a dollar off White Castle coupon for $14.69 total. I then drove down to the Board of Education Parking Lot. I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com . I chatted outside with a Starbucks regular. I then went by the www.chase.com bank ATM at Deerfield Place. I then went by the Stop and Shop on West Putnam Avenue. I bought two packages of reduced produce yellow squash for $1.28 and $1.30 and fresh bananas for .49 a pound for $3.33 total. I then went by the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $8 of self service V-Power premium gasoline for $3.599 a gallon for 2.224 gallons at odometer reading of 116823 miles for 30.2 miles driven since Tuesday February 13, 2018 for 13.58 miles per gallon in local traffic. It works out to about $2 to $2.50 per picture, when at www.cvs.com for a dime a picture or www.snapfish.com one can upload a digital picture for about nine cents a picture. Thus the Polaroid product is still a bit expensive. In the old days, the professional photographers liked Polaroid's instant 4 inch by 5 inch negative positive film, and it was high enough resolution one could blow up a big picture mural. Now everything is tiny cameras for fast little kids. CIO

I stopped by www.cvs.com , and I bought two 16 ounce CVS dry roasted peanuts for $2.99 each, and a 10 pack of www.perrier.com 8.5 ounce cans for $4.99 and .50 can deposit for $11.47 total. I then drove further down Greenwich Avenue. I walked lower Greenwich Avenue. I toured the www.apple.com store. I chatted with a local for a while in front of the Belgium bakery coffee shop. I then used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com . I then drove the local home to an undisclosed location near town. I then stopped by CVS on Greenwich Avenue again. I bought the last Philips USB charger pack for 75% off for $6.87 and .44 tax for $7.31 total. I then bought two one pound tins of CVS Danish butter cookies for $2.99 each for $5.98 total. I then drove back to the Board of Education Parking lot. I cleaned off the snow off the two benches at the veterans monument. I sat across the street in front of the Senior and the Arts Center. While I was walking down their inclined exit driveway, I slipped on black ice at the wide white line with a very hard fall on my right hip. I did not break any bones, but I am sore. My heavy thick www.llbean.com parka broke my fall. A young Starbucks employee helped saw it and helped me get up. I did break my sunglasses. I used the bathroom at Starbucks. I then reported the incident to the desk at the Greenwich Police department. I noticed on their electronic bulletin board that recently a Darien policeman was shot and killed and there is a $100,000 award to fine his murderer. I then sat out some more. When the police car showed up at the Senior and the Arts Center, I showed them where I had slipped. I then went by the Stop and Shop, and I toured their store. They have some dampness in their parking lot that could also turn to black ice. I then went back by CVS on Greenwich Avenue, and I bought buy one get one free of 30.5 ounce De Giorgno Supreme pizzas for $7.69 both. I then drove down to the Board of Education Parking lot. The Department of Public Works truck with worker showed up to sand and salt the area where I slipped at the Senior and the Arts Center area. I showed the worker, where I had slipped on the wide white line. That was the first time I slipped on ice in walking Greenwich regularly for 34 years. I had on a fairly new pair of Timberland boots that have good traction on snow but not black ice on an incline. I watched Starbucks close. I then returned home, and I sat outside for a while. I chatted with a neighbor. I put away my purchases. I repaired my sunglasses with some Lock Tight super glue that I had. Hopefully the repair will hold. I filed this report. 02/17/18 Saturday 11:50 P.M. I threw out the garbage. I chatted with two neighbors. Back in August 1980, when I drove out to California on my last trip there in a 1972 Burgundy Volvo coupe made in Belgium, I drove through the Sierra Nevadas and in August we had a foot of snow. Lots of summer campers were coming out of the woods and looking disturbed along the highway. I stopped by at Squaw Valley before heading into Carmel, California, where I sold my Nantucket carpenter tools for gasoline money. The day after Ronald Reagan was elected President, I sold that car at a cash for your car place at the entrance to Disney Land, and I flew back to Manhattan to enjoy a couple of very cold winters after Mount St. Helens erupted. Basically we tend to be used to cold weather around here. I know they get a lot more snow and colder weather a couple of hundred miles north of us where they do not get the warming effect off Long Island Sound. I used to think if one imported Brazilians here in the winter, their karma would bring warmer weather here in the winter. The biggest factor on worldwide weather is the ocean currents. Even the Gulf Stream can change course effecting the weather in Northern Europe. One can make it Toronto in 12 and a half hours https://www.amtrak.com/maple-leaf-train , but one now needs a U.S.A. passport to travel into Canada. Both Toronto and Montreal each have 20 miles of underground streets, so one does not have to spend too much time outside in the cold in the winter. Basically in the winter, a lot of people stay inside up north, when they are not working. They also tend to read a lot. The Canadians are very polite up there, but it still takes money to tour around. 02/17/18 Saturday 6:25 P.M. It is starting to snow outside, but according to my weather station here near Long Island Sound, it is only 39 degrees Fahrenheit outside right now, so it might not stick. Over by the Westchester County airport, it is 34 degrees Fahrenheit. Back in December 1972, I took a Grey Hound bus from Boston to Toronto to visit a college roommate. While I was in Toronto, there was a five thousand car wreck on the Diefenbaker Express Way in an ice storm. Back in December 1978, I drove through the Rocky Mountains in a blizzard for two days coming back from my first trip to California in my $150 1971 Subaru from www.nantucket.net that also had been in Dillon, Colorado. I made it over the Eisenhower pass east of Vail, because I found a pair of old Continental Snow tires with studs in a www.sears.com tire dump in Dillon, Colorado that I paid an Amoco gas station in Vail $5 to have put on the front wheel drive wheels of my old Subaru. I was later told that I should have worried about avalanches driving through the Rocky Mountains in a blizzard. I also once drove from Boston to www.hamilton.edu in Clinton, New York in my 1967 Mustang convertible in a foot of snow back in 1968. Another time, I drove Route 2 from Concorde, Massachusetts to Stratton, Vermont in the same Mustang in a foot of snow back in 1968. It is a lot easier driving on snow with a manual stick shift where one can up shift and down shift for traction. Back in 1973 in my 1970 Blue Volvo sedan with automatic transmission during the Arab Oil embargo, I was driving from the Darien rest area where I got gasoline and on I-95 in six inches of snow, the automatic transmission shifted and ran me into a guard damaging the left side of the car. About 1994, we had a 2.5 foot snow fall here in the Greenwich which is about the most that I have seen in recent years. Up north of here, they get a lot more snow. We have less here because of the warming waters of Long Island Sound. Out at www.lfc.edu , we had a lot of snow all of the time, but people out there are used to it. When in Florence, Italy in the winter of 1972, I drove from Florence, Italy to Carrera, Italy where there was two feet of fresh power in the mountains. In 1992 at the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, there was only about six to twelve inches of snow in the valley, but up in the mountains where one was transported by buses, there was a lot more snow. I have seen the French Alpine Ski Patrol in action up in those mountains. CIO

I went though http://scott-mike.com/bf.htm . I took the Linksys USB wireless adapter off the Asus Netbook in the bedroom, and I plugged it into the primary work computer. I then hooked up the Sony Blue Ray DVD player and the Roku device on the new Insignia TV to HDMI 2 with an HDMI switch with the Roku device on input 1 and the Sony Blue Ray device on input 2. On HDMI 3 I installed the ChromeCast HDMI device. I then connected the wireless Linksys device on the primary work computer, and I installed the Chrome Browser add in for ChromeCast. From the Chrome Browser one has to select "CAST" from the upper right corner to send the Chrome Browser image to the Insignia 49 inch television. It works just fine. I went outside, and I picked up the mail. I chatted with a relative. I will now go outside again. CIO

I bought a Red Baron brick oven crust 18 ounce pepperoni pizza for $3.34, two 5 ounce Texas toast cheese and garlic croutons for $1 each and two packages of reduced produce tomatoes for $1.63 and $1.81 for $8.78 total. I then returned home. I sat outside briefly. I picked up the mail. I put away my purchases. I put the new 8" by 10" picture in a picture frame above the apartment entrance door. I used a mini stereo cable and I hooked the Ocosmo monitor speakers on the primary work computer to the computer sound card, so the sound now plays out of the monitor besides the computer speakers when turned on. I bought two 8 ounce Cabot seriously sharp extra sharp Vermont cheddar cheese for $2.50 each, buy one get one free of Thomas' English muffins for $4.49 both, a 59 ounce container of Florida Natural orange juice with calcium for $3, two 9 ounce packages of Green Giant frozen snap peas for $1.50 each, and two 5 ounce bags of Texas Toast croutons for $1 each, and reduced produce tomatoes for $1.41 for $18.90 total. I used the bathroom at the Stop and Shop. I then went by the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $18 of self service V-Power gasoline with a dime a gallon off with my Stop and Shop card for $3.499 a gallon for 5.144 gallons at odometer reading of 116793 miles for 70.1 miles driven since Friday January 26, 2018 for 13.628 miles per gallon in mixed traffic. I used the bathroom at the Senior and the Arts Center. I then sat out for a while. I then drove down by the waterfront on Steamboat Road. They have torn down the old apartment building on the north side of the Indian Harbor Yacht Club, and they are suppose to build 8 expensive condos there. I did some more Mickey Magic, in case I ever become hard of hearing or I have friends that are hard of hearing. I moved the Boston Acoustics Sound Bar from the Westinghouse TV in the bedroom to the new television with an optical cable, so there is even better sound. I also hooked up the new television to the apartment stereo system, so it plays on "Tape Monitor" on the Technics amplifier. Thus any hard of hearing people should be able to hear the new television just fine. I put the Boston Acoustic sound bar remote control with the other remotes on the front of the new television. I will now go outside again. I will then shower and clean up. CIO

I have the new TV box propped up on the Rubbermaid hamper in the bedroom northwest corner. I think it is a good idea to save the new TV box for a few weeks until I am sure it is defect free. Thus my TV installation routine is finished with all systems go. I will now go outside and see if they have figured out a way to broadcast TV on the face of the moon. CIO
02/10/18 Saturday 1:50 A.M. I have the new 49 inch TV setup on the mahogany bureau in the living room. It could not be any larger and fit on the bureau. I moved the best Roku device and the Sony Blue Ray DVD player to it on HDMI 2 and 3. I have the Cable box on HDMI 1. I have it connected to the Cambridge Sound system with a split also for the Philips headset. I also have the Philip air antenna setup on it, but still only gets four channels. It all seems to work quite well. I left the remotes on the bureau in front of it. I have the box stored on the far side of the bed in the bedroom. I put the Craig DVD player on the Haier TV AV1, and I moved the second best Roku device from the left Westinghouse TV in the bedroom to the Haier TV. It all seems to work just fine. I put used D batteries and an LED bulb in the flashlight I brought in from the car, and it works. I left if on the white bookcase at the kitchen entrance. I went outside earlier. I stopped by CVS again, and I bought buy one get one 50% off of Tums 72 count berry flavor for $6.29 and $3.14 for $9.43 total. I used the bathroom at CVS. I looked at the Greenwich Variety store for something they did not have. After my walk, I used the bathroom at the Senior and the Arts Center. I then walked back down to Zyn Stationary, and I bought two Ace's High scratch cards for a dollar each, and I lost on both. I then chatted with the Christian Science Center about the internet. Somebody there used to work for the Gartner Group over in Stamford. I then went by the Stop and Shop. I bought buy one get one free of six packs of Thomas' English muffins for $4.49 both, two tubes of Stop and Shop buttermilk biscuits for .75 each, a ten quart pack of Stop and Shop powdered milk for $12.19, bananas for .49 a pound for $1.03, a six pack of reduced produce tomatoes for $1.83 for $21.04 total. I then returned home. I sat outside for a while. I chatted with two relatives. I put away my purchases. I filed this report. I will now go outside again. I really should not play scratch cards, my luck ran out over a year ago. CIO

02/09/18 Friday 6:15 A.M. Before going to bed, I put a red LED light bulb in the lamp on the white chest at the kitchen entrance, and I exchanged the bumble bee shade for a white card board shade. I move the small lamp with the LED light from the telephone table to the table to the right side of the Queen Anne chair in the living room corner. I moved the small wall lamp from above the Brother laser printers to the wall on the window side of the Ethan Allen recliner with a red CFL light bulb in it. I put another red CFL light bulb in the white lamp on the oak dining table. I thus now have five red lights going in the living room, one in the kitchen, one in the hallway, one in the bathroom, and one in the bedroom for nine red light going in the apartment, when the white lights are turned off. It is a nice even red light for relaxing. I woke up, and I ate seven fig newtons. I finally woke up at 5:30 A.M.. I went outside. I will eat breakfast of Kashi cereal and milk, a toasted English muffin with Smart Balance Spread and jelly, a glass of 50% punch and 50% cold filtered water, and a 12 ounce cup of regular coffee with Equal sweetener and milk and vitamins and supplements. 02/06/18 Tuesday 4:35 P.M. I went outside again, and I chatted with neighbors and a dog walker. I picked up the mail, and I got four coupons from www.cvs.com . Not much happening around here, when one stays off Rodeo Drive East. I think when Ronald Reagan and the Bushs were President we had a lot of wealthy California and Texas people around here to make it look more glamorous. Now that we have a New Yorker for President, there are only cheap New Yorkers around here which has always been the case. I think some of the Corporate people living further east in Fairfield County might have some disposable income, if anyone ever feels like exploring up that way. New Canaan, Connecticut is now supposed to be wealthier than Greenwich, since they do not have any poor people. However, it is a lot colder there in the winter and a lot hotter there in the summer. I was told that since New Canaan is not on Long Island Sound, a lot of New Canaan residents travel to beach at other summer beach locations. I guess much could be said for Wilton, Connecticut too. If one gets cabin fever here, Jet Blue flies from nearby Westchester County Airport to Palm Beach to hang out with the Trumps or to the Bahamas to hang out with the Queen or whoever she left behind. Of course www.netjets.com is also owned by Berkshire Hathaway, and they are also at Westchester County Airport for elsewhere travel. I suppose if one were a Arab Sheik with a super jet, one could land further away at Stewart International Airport for more privacy away from the Big City. However, I think it is mostly apple orchards up that way give or take a few large homes along the Hudson River that time forgot. CIO

He only drank Perrier with Angostura bitters. Judging from what is going on in midtown Manhattan, he was not very successful. Although I never visit New York City, I have plenty of informants around me to tell me anything if I want to waste my time being bothered. CIO

I got used to eating peanuts, when I used to fly for free on the Chemstrand Monsanto corporate DC3 all of the time which had lots of free Planter's Peanuts to snack on. When I worked for Daniel Construction now part of www.fluor.com as an expeditor in the first half of 1976 in Greenville, South Carolina; an old farmer would come through the offices every Thursday afternoon selling bags of peanuts that one would have to shell themselves. Southern traditions are bit different down South. Alas, when Jimmy Carter became President, I ended up eating nothing much but peanut butter sandwiches at the mission on Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida next to the Swimming Hall of Fame that had a big picture in the entrance of President Gerry Ford. As a computer engineer, I think I do better off hanging around what www.ibm.com constantly ignores for better or worse. There are a lot of high tech people in this area with IBM nearby in Armonk, New York; but from what I can tell they try not to advertise their presence. I think IBM sell all sorts of super computers and they produce over a dozen software languages to use on various models, so once becomes user friendly with a home computer and wants to become more advanced after www.mit.edu more than likely you will end up on the door step of IBM again. IBM is in about every country in the world, but five years ago, they were not even in top hundred of Unites States of America Defense contractors. Of course back in 1982, where I built the garage apartment in Plandome Manor, New York for Vivian West; it was in Mr. Grumman's neighborhood; and Northrop Grumman is now the third top United States of America Defense contractor; so more than likely they are still doing something out there on Long Island which does not need my assistance. I then bought two 30 ounce Welch's grape jelly for $2 each, two 16 ounce Planter's dry roasted peanuts for $2.50 each, two 14.5 ounce Kashi original cereal for $2.99 each for $14.98 total. The Kashi cereal were not on sale, but they gave me the sale price from last week, since the tag was still up. However, the Kashi cereals are $2.99 at the Stop and Shop. I then went by the Stop and Shop. To cook a package of two White Castle cheeseburgers, one cuts opens the end and puts the package with the two White Castle cheeseburgers in the microwave oven for 55 minutes. There is not too much beef on them, but it gives one the taste of beef cheaply and quickly. I brought up a white wicker night stand that somebody had thrown out. I moved the Hoover vacuum cleaner and its attachments from the far living room corner to the left side of the bedroom bed. I moved the little mahogany night stand from the far side of the Ethan Allen recliner to the right side of the Queen Anne chair in front of the living room windows. I put the white wicker night stand on the far side of the Ethan Allen recliner. I moved the various items on top of the two tables around. It all looks quite nice, and it works quite well. I will now go outside to moon watch again. CIO

02/04/18 Sunday 11:30 P.M. Before going to bed, I ate three ounces of Dutch Gouda cheese and four fig newtons. Also I found an aluminum cane in the dumpster this morning that I retrieved. I woke up at 10:45 P.M.. I went outside in the pouring rain, and I threw out the garbage and old periodical literature. I will eat breakfast of Kashi cereal and milk, a toasted English muffin with Smart Balance Spread and jelly, a glass of 50% punch and 50% cold filtered water, and a 12 ounce cup of regular coffee with Equal sweetener and milk and vitamins and supplements. On the Ipad 2 on the Philips radio docking station, I used the Itunes program to install the Beatles songs, a few Elvis songs, and some other songs including the Eagles "Hotel California". It sounds just fine. I do not have that much storage space on the Ipad 2, so I did not add other music. I also stored some files on Icloud. I will now go outside again. CIO

His family owned a gourmet meat company up in Minnesota, and he used to do catering for the Chart House in Dobbs Ferry, New York at the Rockefeller's Estate in North Tarrytown, New York; so he might have a few friends up there today. When I met him, I told him I was from "Frost Bite Falls, Minnesota" like in "Rocky and his Friends" cartoon series in the old days. He only showed up once on the internet with Bill Clinton out in South Hampton, New York and with Olive Watson Junior at a Cancer Fund Raiser. Thus he might be a democrat. CIO

When I used to cover Greenwich Village at night back in the old days, I discovered in the Chelsea area of Manhattan, there were a number of early morning bars, where the night shift could have a boiler maker after work. I think people might still drink alcohol in the city, because a lot of them do not drive vehicles. There are always people awake at night in Manhattan, since a lot of the local people there like going out when it is less busy. I think the Thieves Deli on Second Avenue around about 50th street on the southeast corner used to be open 24 hours. Right now in Greenwich, Connecticut on Friday and Saturday nights the http://www.glorydaysdiner.com/ is now only opened until 3 A.M.. On the two Ipad2 tablets, I can not seem to get the back issues with the RD Reader App. I shut down the primary Ipad 2, and I put it back on the right side of the bedroom desk. I took the slightly older Ipad 2 which is pretty much setup the same way, and I took it out of its cover. I put it on my Philips radio docking station, and it works just fine with Bluetooth. I am now playing the United States Marine Corps www.usmc.mil band playing John Philips Sousa. I will now go outside again. CIO

Once when Dad was visiting him Liverpool, England, General Smith gave Dad two of the original Beatles albums which he gave to my eldest sister. She leant them to the Greenwich, Connecticut radio station then owned by the Landware family of Holland, Michigan; and the Greenwich radio station was playing them on their radio station two years before the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan. Thus we helped with the British Invasion. Alas the British do not seem to be able to afford to cross the Pond and visit anymore. CIO

For January 2017 it was $180.25 for 989 kWh for 35.32 kWh per day over 28 days with an average temperature of 35.7 degrees Fahrenheit. Since the bill is $20 lower than the December 2017 bill when I used the LED light bulbs for half the month, it would seem the LED light bulbs are saving $20 to $40 a month. I went by the Wells Fargo Bank at the Stop and Shop shopping center, and I can no longer pay my rent to the Greenwich Housing Authority there. I was told one now has to pay it at the Webster Bank on Mason Street. I then went by the Stop and Shop, and I bought four 18.8 ounce cans of Campbell's New England clam chowder for $4.50 and bananas for .49 a pound for .49 for $4.99 total. I then went by the Webster Bank on Mason Street, and I paid my rent to the Greenwich Housing Authority. I then used the bathroom at the Senior and the Arts center, and I sat out downtown for a while. I then went by the Acme grocery store. I bought a Del Monte pineapple for $1.99 and three Banquet 11 ounce Swedish meatballs for $5 all, two six packs of White Castle cheeseburgers for $4.49 each less a dollar off coupon, and three 18 ounce Signature old fashioned oatmeal for $5 all less .35 can return for $19.62 total. I then returned home. I sat outside, and I chatted with a neighbor. I then put away my purchases. My freezer is full to the brim. I filed this report. I will now go outside again. CIO

02/01/18 Thursday 6:55 A.M. I chatted with a neighbor outside. I did some more Mickey Magic. I put a second HDMI splitter on the bedroom cable box, and it powers on with the cable box. I then ran a 25 foot HDMI cable to the Haier TV in the living room, and I ran another 25 foot HDMI cable from the living room Cable Box HDMI splitter to the older or left Westinghouse TV in the bedroom. Thus now both televisions in each room can play two different cable channels as well all of them are hooked up to Roku devices. I actually do not watch that much television, but I learned in Norway television is only meant to be children's entertainment which is why they show a lot of cartoons in Norway. However technically one could watch two different sports channels or two different news channels in each room. In the old days, the Great White Father used to have three televisions, so he could watch all three networks. One can get a more modern television with multiple split screens possibly on Direct TV, but Cablevision does not allow that. I will now go outside again. CIO
02/01/18 Thursday 5:05 A.M. I mailed the letter in the mail room downstairs. While digging threw some of my stored items, I found a new Philips HDTV antenna that I had bought as a clearance item for $7.50 at CVS on Greenwich Avenue. I hooked it up to the Ocosmo TV in the living room, and it works; but at this hour of the morning, I only get WNBC channel 4 and a old movie channel and two Mexican channels. Still if the Cablevision quits working, I have one news channel I can watch. I will now go outside again. CIO

My current Optimum bill was about $202.75, which is about $65 for high speed Cable Modem, $35 for Optimum Voice long distance and about $102.75 for premium Cable TV. However that includes $35 in discounts for all three packages which covers the two cable boxes which are about $12 and taxes other fees. I printed out two copies of my Microsoft Sunset report for January 2018, and I have one copy ready to mail to an interested relative. I will now go outside again. CIO
